So my normal shop is closing down and no longer had a state inspector I needed an inspection my mom and my dad. Kayla was fantastic friendly and kept me informed throughout. Gave me some recommendations which I appreciated. I was surprised my car was ready so quickly pleasantly surprised. I think they pricing was very fair. Lets face it car repairs are never cheap. My new go to mechanic

I hate to be that guy but yea. I would not recommend Harvey's garage for anything. They do sketchy work. I tried to give them a chance after the other mess ups (crushing my catylic converter gaskets and exhaust inner pipe, claiming to replace a sensor but didn't) I chalked it up to them " changing techs from the other shop" but today was the last straw.I will never bring another car to these guys. Harvey is a great guy but his techs arent good at all and of course they will back each other up. Sucks to say but there aren't any good mechanics left in this world. Best thing to do is try to work on your car yourself or take it to the stealership.Update. I jacked my car up and this is what I found. A flashlight and my o2 sensor hanging. They said I brought it to them like that which was a lie . The tech stripped the threads on the manifold as well this keeps getting better and better.People if you care about your car take it elsewhere. This is the 3rd mess up they have done since July.

Harvey s garage is amazing! They genuinely care about you and your vehicle. I have brought it to a couple locations of theirs and always had a great experience. Kayla works at the front here and she is very knowledgeable about cars. She communicates well and goes out of her way to work with you.

I live on the same street as this place just on the opposite end and never knew it was there. My car was acting up on me so I called AAA and they took my car to Harvey s Garage. Well this has been the best experience when spending money. I dont feel like I'm being told I need thing's that I dont and I get updates on my car daily. The staff is amazing and If I need other work done on my car I will most definitely go back to them.

Went to Harvey s for a leaking coolant on my jeep grand cherokee. Greg was really accommodating and helpful he explained what the steps and process and after doing it followed up promptly with the quotation and necessary work to be done. But what made me rate them 5 stars was how Greg was always looking out for ways to save me money. He ask if I have insurance for repairs and I have one but Im kinda sure they wouldn t pay up unless car or parts are broken. But, Greg still went and talked to them and filed the paperworks and I appreciate that effort. Car is still running great will bring my vehicle regularly here now for repairs and maintenance. Thank you!

I ve taken my car there twice and I ve had a great experience. They are fair, thorough and honest. It s hard finding places who will not try to gouge you, but these people are great. Veteran owned, the receptionist at the front desk is extremely knowledgeable and professional and very accommodating. My car was inoperable and they fit my in on the same day, kept me up to date on what was going on, recommended what I should have done, but didn t push me to have the extras fixed immediately like most places. They fixed what needed to be fixed on the same day. Great customer service and professionalism. Totally recommend this place and will definitely be my place for repairs and state inspections. My son is an active duty Marine, so this makes this a PLUS! Thank you Harvey and crew!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Called to check availability for a state inspection, Kayla had me in in less than 2 hours. Very Friendly and Awesome Service. This was my first time and won't be my last!!! Definitely recommend taking your business here!!!

Harvey's Garage did great work on my 2011 JEEP Wrangler. Replaced the lower ballpoint which helped eliminate the death wobble. Also they did a once over the vehicle letting me know what could be an issue in the future. Good honest mechanic. ( I have 4 other cars and I would feel comfortable taking them there)

Harvey's Garage : THIS IS THE PLACE WHERE YOU WANT TO HAVE YOUR VEHICLE WORK TO BE DONE. THE MECHANICS CARE ABOUT THEIR PROFESSION and YOUR VEHICLE. THEY are CLEAN and POLITE. I WOULD SAY GO TO HARVEY 'S GARAGE FOR OUTSTANDING SERVICE.

I was grateful that they were able to fit me in for an inspection. Katlyn was very sweet over the phone and when I took my car in. My only complaint was the quote on the oil change was higher then the quote. Good service, although slow (took 3 days to diagnose and fix a crank shaft sensor). Very professional team that kept me updated throughout the entire process. Labor price is pretty steep but worth it for the service. My 11 year old vehicle with almost 200k miles is running like a brand new vehicle!

Went to get a state inspection today. Kayla was very friendly and the entire team at Harvey s was professional and got me in and out in less than an hour. Highly recommend and I will be back for next years state inspection and any other repairs I need along the way.

Do not take your car to these guys especially if it is a European car!!!We initially took my wife s car to these folks for a check engine light, and a coolant leak. Leak was coming from the thermostat and the plugs were throwing a misfire. After an astronomical amount paid the car was supposedly fixed. Less than a month later car throws another code and the car still has coolant leak. Take it back the code was thrown because they didn t properly gap the plugs which caused a misfire. They actually tried to charge me for them to repair their negligence. Then they say the coolant expansion tank was leaking. Authorized them to fix the coolant tank and to redo the plugs. Suddenly while they were lifting the car onto the rack a massive leak occurred due to the water pump failing, even though they did according to them multiple pressure tests. So after discussing everything with Greg and then Harvey, they agree to cover the cost of the misfiring, I authorized them to repair the water pump as well. So after spending $4353 over the course of a month, the car is supposedly fixed!! Or so we thought.3 weeks later my wife hears a rattling in the engine compartment, she opens the hood and lo and behold there s a 10mm wrench laying on the engine cover, she also smells coolant, she looks into the tank and guess what the tank is bone dry. So I inform good ole Greg and Harvey didn t hear any from Harvey whatsoever, Greg contacts me through text and offers for me to bring the car back in. Not a chance and risk paying thousands more to this company.I ll take my wife s car to a competent shop, who knows what they are doing and probably will not leave tools inside the engine compartment that could potentially cause serious damage to the engine. I ll be looking at other avenues for possible legal advice and action. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these guys.

I had a great experience. I took my car in for a state inspection. I didn't have an appointment, but Josh was able to work my car in so I didn't have to wait all day. Everyone way nice and accommodating. I will definitely bring my car back when needed.

Harvey s Garage is AMAZING! Do NOT ever take your vehicle anywhere else! I was quoted $2700 to unclog the drain in my sunroof with a 6 month wait for the headliner. Harvey s fixed it in one day for $200! This is how you run a business!

My wife originally went for an inspection on her car about a year ago. She told me she had such a good experience so when it was my turn for inspection I thought I d check this place out. Amazing customer service throughout the whole process. Even called me and let me know I passed but made me aware of everything that was potentially needing to be fixed or replaced without pressuring at all. Def bring your car here if you want a true honest mechanic.

Recommend to me by my mom. My car broke down and other garages were full but harveys was ready to take my car in as soon as I called them, even after my towing was delayed a few days (on my end) they were still expecting the car. Kayla at the garage was very helpful in keeping me updated on what needed to be done to get it running and pass inspesction, and she helped me get the most reasonable price. Definitely a great option if you don't want to pay an arm and a leg at your dealership.

My state inspection yesterday, albeit a simple interaction, happened to be my second great experience with Harvey s Garage. The first: Back in the Spring, I found Harvey s Garage online when a friend was looking for a reputable garage nearby. Between the messaging on their website, the overwhelmingly positive online reviews AND noticing how Harvey had taken time to personally respond to EVERY single review posted, they certainly seemed to be living up to their mission statement and goals! When responding to the few frustrated customers, I noticed he urged each to call his cell phone to discuss any issues and see what he could do to make things right for them. Those sorts of responses to negative reviews are common. However, the very pleasant surprise was to see that Harvey took the time to personally respond to every single positive review as well! (THAT seems to be quite rare!).What really sealed choosing them, however, was the friendly, yet professional interaction beginning with the very first phone call to inquire about bringing in the car. I want to mention that Kayla (at reception) was always super nice (both on the phone and in-person), she was very accommodating and pleasantly communicative throughout the process whether calling or texting me. Frankly, I appreciated her efficient use of both. Harvey and others with whom I briefly interacted during both visits to the shop couldn t have been nicer as well.Finally: Although we can all appreciate Harvey s sacrifice and service to our nation as a U.S. military veteran, I m glad he moved on from working with bombs and established this family business to service and repair our vehicles instead! I believe they are certainly worth trusting when you need auto service and repairs.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection

Very friendly and honest staff. Will go out of their way to try and help you while also trying to save you as much money as possible. I had a lug bolt break off of my tire. Harvey s was recommended to me by a former employee of theirs. They were able to fix the issue with my tire quickly and affordably while also giving a free courtesy check. I was so impressed with their customer service that I came back two days later to have most of my fluids changed. 2 hours later and my 120K mile Tacoma is good to go for a while now. Highly recommend Harvey s Garage.

Needed copies of previous invoices for records and was able to contact Harvey directly and have them digitally within 12 hours - I mean where does that kind of service still exist? :)

I got my cooling system and heater core replaced. The work was done quicker than expected for a big job. I had gotten an estimate from another auto shop and they gave me a price much higher than Harvey s did. Harvey's has some amazing people, the owner is really kind as well as informative when discussing the problems of your vehicle. Josh is great at keeping you up to date with whats going on while your car is being worked on. This shop knows it s stuff. I don t like to have anyone touch my vehicles. I like to do all repairs to our families cars myself. However, a few weeks ago I was busy at work and wound up leaving my truck to get diagnosed. He called me within a few hrs and he seemed to know his stuff. So I left my baby there for the repair. Harvey was true to his word and he definitely found and repaired my (driver side hub) problem in a timely manner. It has been a few weeks and things are still solid. He has gained my trust so I wanted to reciprocate. Hope the review is helpful to the shop. Thanks for the work! We ll be back for inspections after the first of the year!
