This was my first time needing any car service as my car is very new. I needed to have my car inspected (it was 2 months overdue!) when I called several places to have it done, it was a month before anyone could see me. I called First Landing and they came within a day or so; picked my car up (I live at Westminster Canterbury), inspected it, and returned it to me. It is a service they provide to WC residents. I was VERY HAPPY with their quick service and the staff who were all helpful. I would certainly recommend them to all my friends. Happy Holidays.

Attention to detail and customer service are the best at First Landing Auto Care! The team was very informative, and respectful of my need to get my car back in a timely manner. The entire crew worked overtime to make sure I got my car back as promised.I would highly recommend First Landing Auto Care!!!!

Took my car there to have the ABS repaired. Dealership had told me $3000.00, they found the codes just needed cleared, and only charged me a diagnostic fee. I was very impressed with how professional they are. Very upfront with charges and paperwork. This is my new go to place.

Once again, First Landing Auto Care hits it out of the park. It was easy to get an appointment for my car. Martin and his team did a great job finding the problem with my car-- the awful crunching noise was a failed electronic power steering rack.They also made me reconsider ever going to a quick lane / pep boys ever again when they noticed my oil and brake fluid had been incompletely drained. The dedication to great customer service at First Landing Auto Care is above and beyond. Their team is very compassionate and knowledgeable. The people that work there are amazing. Stephen helped me scheduling an appointment and he was so kind and getting everything taken care of when they found the issues with my car. Max was outstanding in customer service and made my day with just being a genuinely good person. Best part of getting my car serviced, they gave me a ride home. Thanks Max When I dropped my car off, checked in, and the drive home; The whole process took less than 20 minutes. Thank you for being awesome!

Every service I have received from First Landing Auto Care has been excellent and the staff is absolutely amazing. They have come to my rescue multiple times (oops!) and they are always extremely friendly and helpful. Martin and his team went out of their way to repair, order, and replace all of my tires AND do an inspection, all in one day, and they even stayed past closing time to finish it up so that I could get back on the road asap. I highly recommend First Landing and they will remain my go-to place here in Virginia Beach. Thank you all SO much!

I have gone here the past several years to get my inspection done, I ensure I have all my stuff collected before bringing my car in. Two years in a row, I have had them reject my inspection due to light bulb issues that were working when I dropped the vehicle off to them. Last year was my license plate bulb that when I said forget it I have one in my console, I received a call back saying oh it was only loose. This year it was my center brake light, that again I said I had a bulb it was working, I will just come and fix it quickly as I work down the road and they refused. Said they would have to reject it, start all over again, I would have to drive it off their lot and they wanted to charge $65.00 to insert a bulb I have. Never again will go I go here. I triple check to make sure all necessary items are working when I drop it off and two years back to back - "light bulb" issues that were not there upon dropping off my vehicle.

I find staff at First Landing provide a detailed account of what work is required on the automobile and are honest in telling the customer if the work does not need to be done right away. Poor experience my appointment for an inspection took well over 3 hours with no designated wait area except outside in the direct sun no communication was conveyed regarding the status of the inspection or why it was taking so long ; they attempted to order parts that were excessively priced for several items the car did not need without informing me .They also placed an itemized list of services they recommended in the future totally over $1500 . I had to wait for the attendant to drive my car around the block before he would turn it back over to me and at this point I was late for another obligation. No apologies for their poor time management and poor communication! I would not have left a review but they keep sending me emails and texts to rate their business .

I have used First Landing several times & they always did a very good job. The last time I used them they took care of setting up my car for a tow to their shop to repair a problem with overheating. They discovered that recent bodywork following an auto accident had been completed improperly. The body shop had not reconnected the radiator hose & all the fluids drained causing the overheating. They also noticed that some of the bodywork wasn t properly repaired. If not for the personnel at First Landing I would not have known of these issues until it was too late. I was reimbursed for the costs of repairs by the body shop as a direct result of First Landing s careful inspection.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto water leak repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto A/C recharge, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

This was my first experience with FL. It may be my last. I made an appointment for 8 am. I was there before 8 and was one of the first in the office. I requested that my brakes be inspected and then to receive a call to discuss the findings. At 2:30 that day, I had heard nothing. I called and was told the tech was looking at my truck then. So 6 1/2 hours had elapsed, and no work had been done. Why? I had an 8 am appointment. At 3:30, FL called, told me what they thought should be done with my rear brakes, and I authorized the work. The service advisor said they'd have to order the parts and my truck should be ready by 5 pm the next day. At 2:30 on day 2, I received a call and was told it was ready. Why wasn't the brake inspection and needed work promptly done on day 1? Fortunately, I was able to do without my vehicle for another day. Most people can't. There was no communication from FL saying the work was delayed and would go into the next day. I learned this because I called. FL also sent me a detailed list of all the work they recommended be done to my truck that totaled $2,000. I didn't ask for this kind of inspection/assessment to be done. No wonder the work I wanted done took so long. This smacks of trying to upsell more work instead of doing promptly what I asked to be done. They charged me $600 for rear brake pads and rotors. Seems a bit high. They also charged $85 to inspect the brakes and ~$70 for "job supplies" in addition to the cost of parts. And then there's $76 in labor to replace a burned out brake light bulb! Now, the office staff was certainly courteous and professional. But the overall experience left me thinking I should consider other service providers, although I may give FL another chance. If I do, I will ask a lot more questions and set some clear expectations.Service: Brakes

I came with a flat tire. Max told me I had a nail in it and would need it repaired. The garage was Very busy. Max made time to plug my tire like it was new. He didn t have to but made room for me. He even made sure I had a seat. There were also 2 women who were very helpful. A very pleasant experience.

Made an appt for a state inspection. The inspection was extremely thorough and detailed. Showed what was good with the vehicle and what needed to be worked on. Didn t pressure me at all in trying to get anything fixed on the spot and still game me an itemized list of their prices of everything.

They were timely and completed what was asked. But I did feel like they were trying to get more business than what I asked for. I wanted just an oil change and they did a full inspection even though I had got one completed one month prior and passed, and never asked for an inspection. When they called to say my car was ready, they were very pushy about getting other things fixed or completed based off their inspection that again, I never agreed to prior. I had a small crack on my windshield that was fixed, certified and cleared for inspection and they tried to tell me it would not pass which was not true. Overall, as a small neighborhood shop, I didn t appreciate a 10 minute conversation about all the things I needed to do to my car when I requested just an oil change but the service was completed and price was slightly higher than I priced matched.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Everyone I communicated with at First Landing was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They provided thorough inspection notes with pictures, which I ve never received from other auto shops. This place is all about making money and getting a sale. They were trying to have me replace my exhaust pipe that I learned from a different business that it wouldn t have fixed my problem and I would up having to keep replacing parts until they were all new. They were charging me $50 to replace my taillight which takes 20 seconds to do and I did my self. The total for my repairs would ve been over $3,000 and I ve been able to fix all problems going to various other shops for under $700. On top of all of this the mechanic was rude and snapped on me when I asked a question. This place is all about making money and taking advantage of you. DO NOT GO HERE.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Awful. I dropped my car off the night before. By 9:30am they called to say I needed 4 tires (which I did). He said they had the tires on site. When I walked up to get my car just before closing (5pm), it was not at the shop. They took it someplace else. Martin told my husband they don t do that work on site. Martin would not give me a warranty for the tires. He said my car is too powerful to receive a warranty. The car is an EV and has dual motors, front and back. He simply lied to me. He charged me $19.99 a tire for Road Hazard Warranty, $517.68 Labor for installing, mounting & balance 4 tires, and alignment. Grand total with $20 inspection = $1775.57 for Goodyear Eagle Touring tires 245/45/19.BTW. He told my husband I need to get the tires rotated every time I see oil changed.
