The manager at the shop took the time to talk to me in order to understand the issue I brought in my Acura to the shop for. After his team looked over my vehicle, he informatively told me the actual issue, then offered me a great low price to fix the issue. Couldn't be more satisfied with the mechanic service at this shop.

Was supposed to have my engine replaced here, at least I paid to have it replaced. It s my fault for not knowing anything about cars and not having someone there with me who did know about cars, because if I did, I wouldn t be finding out almost 2 years later that I still have my original engine. Explains why I was having the exact same issue I originally brought my car to this shop with, 2 days after having it replaced . This place is a scam, and any woman who goes here should bring someone with them unless they d like the married man who owns the shop to constantly flirt and throw creepy comments in while you re there.Edit: It was 100% your shop, crazy how everyone accusing you of the same thing just so happens to not be in your system . The mechanics (3 of them) who looked at my car and all said the same thing, all said I m better off getting a new car rather than fixing what you were supposed to fix, because it s not worth putting any more money into, none of them tried to sell me anything. I remember you and how uncomfortable you made me very, very well. I looked at the pictures of the shop just to be sure it was 100% you and your shop, and it is. I wish I had kept my receipt from when I got my car repaired by you so I could prove you wrong. I will update again if I end up finding it. :)

As long as they're in business, they'll have mine. Keith is friendly and honest and up front about repairs and they work quickly. The atmosphere there is unlike any other shop I've been to. Everyone seems to genuinely care and love their jobs. I'll recommend them to anyone! (Bonus: they don't blow off girl's opinions on what's wrong with their car or act like you don't know what you're talking about just because you're a girl.) Please check them out, you won't be disappointed!!

Great service! Kieth is an awesome mechanic and great to work with!I brought an 04 RAM 1500 here that required an engine rebuild. Kieth took it in and treated it as his own. It took a few weeks to get back, but that's because he kept finding more issues with the truck and fixing them. I now have a warranty on my engine and the truck drives like it's new. I couldn't be happier. Kieth was understanding and worked with my schedule.Thanks for the great service!

I believe in the power of a good review, and not that Keith and his shop need any more great reviews because I've read through so many on here (in fact that is how I found out about this place a couple years back), but I believe in telling everyone about a great mechanic. So here goes.I have been coming here for a few years now. I have an older vehicle that I just can't seem to part ways with. And it works just fine, but there have been some issues that have come up - Keith and the other mechanics there have taken great care of my vehicle. Up front. Straight and to the point. HONEST. As a female it is high on my list of anxieties about taking my car in for a repair. I worry I will get cheated. I do not have that worry at Family Auto Repair Plus. Keith is honest. He is to the point about what needs to be done on the car and the price is right.I have told everyone I know who drives a car to take their vehicle over to Keith and company if they need a repair. It is the only shop I recommend.In fact the most recent visit I made to the shop Keith had stopped what he was doing to take a look at my car right away and they even stayed late to fix it for me. He values his customers and truly has kept my old Fusion on the road at least for a little bit longer. Thanks Keith and company for all you do. My experience with Keith was one of the best I ve ever experienced with any auto repair company. From the first conversation up until the decision to go with them, I felt comfortable and confident that things would be right and I was not disappointed. Keith is a honest person with competitive rates and they do great work. I have referred him to many and they have a customer for life. I cannot recommend them enough. I wish there were more people in this industry like him. I have to give a huge shout out to Keith and the crew at Family auto, they got my car into the shop, diagnosed and fixed before a dealership could even get me in to be seen. Every issue that came along the way was promptly fixed by Keith and explained to me along the way. Can't thank them enough for the hours they put into getting me back on the road. Keith and his team are great! They did a great job with my repair. The job turned out to be bigger than he anticipated , but instead of increasing the price tag, he absorbed the cost to make sure me and my family got back on the road safely. He fixed exactly what needed to be fixed and didn't try to overcharge us for what we needed. Even though we ended up spending over $1000 for our repairs, we walked out smiling and confident in the work Keith and his team did. Excellent customer service and he also never kept my car longer than a day. Great turn around time. Excellent work and awesome value for families. Call Keith today if you need any work done on your car. GREAT JOB!

I used this business to get my engine rebuilt. The price was fair, but the service was a lot better than expected. The job/ service was affected by Covid and the holidays. But the owner gave me his word that the job would be worth my patience. And as he said, the job was definitely worth it. I have had my truck back for over a month, and been driving it daily, and I have not had one single issue. I am very glad I trusted my gut, and did business with the shop! I have gone to Keith and his team twice now with my car and I don t plan on going anywhere else! I have had a clutch replaced and a new headlight instillation with rewiring done at Family Auto in the past year and Keith always cuts me a fair price for quality work. He is an honest businessman and, along with his talented team, always gets the job done quickly and efficiently. They have my business for years to come!

This auto repair place is simply incredible. Keith's team worked on my BMW and has it running like new. There are very few places that work on BMW's besides the dealership but this place does, and does it well. He did all the work for half the cost of what the dealership wanted. As a police office, I am always cautious about dealing with auto mechanics but Keith was straight up and worked with me to try to keep the cost down as much as possible. Can you believe that? A mechanic trying to keep the cost down? In a world where everyone is trying to take money out of your pocket, its good to know there are still businesses who care about the customer. All my family vehicles will now be going there. I'm a customer for life as long as they continue the great way they are doing business. I don't normally write reviews but this place was worth my time and i think it will help others looking for a fair place to get your car taken care of. Thanks Keith and thank your team for me.

Brought my car in because the AC was not working. Keith took me right in check my car told me I needed a compressor and told me the price and we set up an appointment for Monday morning. My son-in-law came in over the weekend and fixed it for me so I call Keith and canceled the appointment and offered to payFor His diagnostic service but he said no charge. He was the friendliest nicest guy And honest. Would recommend him to anybody and will definitely go back if I ever have a problem again.

I was referred to them by my neighbor. He had work done on his vehicle at Family Auto Repair and said that they were honest and didgreat work.So when I took my car there and met waith Keith, the owner, I told him about the problems I was having with my ignition. He told me that he could fix it but it will cost more for him to fix it than if I went to a locksmith that he uses very often we called Taylor Locksmith and he came out to my house the next day and did a great job for much less then I was going to pay Keith.So I would have to say the Keith is about the most honest repair shop owner I've ever encountered and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else and neither should you.

Keith is THE best mechanic/shop owner I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I should know because I have taken my car there MANY times. Keith and everyone at Family Auto Repair Plus always go above and beyond what they are asked and expected of. He is always willing to work with me and I always leave the shop very satisfied. I will never take my car anywhere else as long as this shop is open. HIGHLY recommend this place if you are looking for a friendly atmosphere and affordable, great- quality service.

Keith is the best!!! Took my Expedition here after it didn't pass inspection due to bad ball joints and a control arm. The place I took it to quoted me almost $1000 to do the work. I called Keith and he gave me an estimation of about $500 less if I buy the parts and bring them in. He said I could bring it in a couple of days later knowing I had only 14 days to get it re-inspected and he was able to get it fixed quickly for me. It passed inspection! So grateful for Keith and his crew for getting me in and out quickly and just being totally HONEST and GREAT mechanics which is VERY hard to find these days. I'm totally a customer for life and I've already referred my sons there. Keep up the great work Keith!!!!

When my transmission went out in my ford expedition I called around to 5 different shops. Keith at family auto was the only one who took the time over the phone to talk through the symptoms my expedition was experiencing. following his diagnosis he ended up quoting me $700 less than any of the other shops I called around asking. The great service continued throughout the whole process. Keith with call and keep you updated on the status of your vehicle and wants to get it done as fast and as cheap as possible. On top of the great transmission work he noticed my engine was running a little rough and replaced an ignition coil pack for me free of cost. If you are experiencing any car problems I recommend giving Keith at family auto a call and you will feel like you are in good hands. As a single mom I have to say I thank God I found Keith he is an amazing straight with no chaser type of mechanic .. fair pricing and very honest . Whenever I have made the mistake of going to another auto repair I have always regretted it ! I always come back to Keith . He helped me today because another mechanic told me I needed to pay 4-5k or total my car .. brought it over to Keith and he told me that my car need some work but nothing that would make me have to get rid of it .. We need more people like Keith in this world!! A customer first shop that is willing to bend over backwards to get your vehicle serviced while being mindful of the cost and without cutting corners.I never leave comments or reviews, so that should say a lot. I called Keith about my 2000 Jeep Cherokee after I started her up and was greeted with squealing and smoke. I gave him a 2 second rundown of what issues I was having with my drive belt and told him I wanted it towed to the shop. First thing he said was sounds like you may just need a new belt, after parts and labor...well, don t worry about the cost...just get it over here. I also needed my AC looked at since summer has turned my Jeep into a mobile sauna. Keith called me back shortly after my Jeep arrived, turns out my compressor had seized up. It was causing the drive belt and A/C issues along with the squealing and smoke. I was out the door squeal and smoke free with ice cold A/C that very same day.At the end of the day, amazingly fast, honest and friendly service that has earned my business for years to come. Thanks again to Keith and his crew at Family Auto.

I cannot give Keith and his team of super mechanics enough accolades! They are the best! If you are considering any automotive repairs, or dreading the anxiety of having to get auto repair work done, set your mind at ease! This shop goes the extra mile to insure your vehicle is up and running to its highest potential and they won t gouge your wallet! I was terrified at the potentially high expense of a timing belt change, and a couple of potentially high cost repairs, but they took excellent care of my vehicle, and for a price I could afford! They were completely transparent about the costs, and kept me informed when some unexpected things came up and it would take a little longer than expected. My initial quoted repair costs NEVER changed, even in light of a few things they hadn t anticipated needing to fix!!! I am so grateful to have taken my vehicle to get the TLC she needed and have the peace of mind that she will continue to manage our large families needs for years to come! Thank you Keith & all the mechanics in the shop for being amazing! 5 stars are not enough for the trust in a great mechanic! Thank you!!!

I highly recommend. Keith is great! I sent my mom s car there for a repair. He gave me a great price when a lot of repair shops in the area were charging outrageous prices. Great shop with excellent warranties. I had work done to the turbo on my superduty less than a year ago and when it started having the same issues again last month, the shop repaired the turbo again with no questions under warranty. They also were able to correct some other gremlins with the braking system. This was not my first dealing with Keith and his crew and it definitely will not be my last. I recommend his services to anyone who asks for a reputable, cost effective (not dealer) repair shop. He has never done me or anyone I have sent his way wrong. Best independent shop in town.

By far the best automotive experience I've ever had! For someone who is new to yhe area, trying to find a trustworthy auto shop was a gamble, but I really lucked out with these guys. Keith kept me informed about the repair of my engine, and always asked permission before taking a step. Keith also made it a priority to show me exactly what the problem was. Through time and research of new parts, Keith also was able to lower my upfront cost which was already a reasonable price. The technicians at this shop do great work and I truly thank Keith and his staff for making a normally unpleasent experience pleasant.

I have had personally great Experience with Kieth and the mechanics on my Ram 1500... after it falling out on me and Going through the whole Insurance deal, Family Auto quoted me for a certain amount of work to be done and gave me fair prices and I have trusted them on my work completely! Would definitely take any vehicle I own to them! Trustworthy and always has stayed true to their word, they don't do any extra maintenance or inspection on the vehicle unless asked or told to do so! Love these guys! Thanks for all the hard work on my Ram and can't thank ya'll enough!

Keith took my car after getting a crazy expensive quote from another shop. He fixed multiple issues I had at an awesome price and took great care of me with any and all issues that came up. If you re looking for a trust worthy mechanic, Keith is your man. Took my 2013 Jeep Wrangler in, expecting to probably spends hundreds. He could have easily told me whatever he wanted was the problem and charged me 300 bucks. Ends up it was a simple 20 minute fix, he didn t even bother charging me for the parts or labor. This guy will definitely take care of you. Thanks again Keith!!

When I moved to the area my co-worker recommended Keith's shop. I've been taking my vehicles to Family Auto Repair Plus for 5 years now. I had a Civic which they worked on until I sold it and now I have a 2003 F-150 they've kept going strong. Excellent service with open, fair and honest rates with a clear understanding of what to expect. Keith has always laid out my options with what those choices would cost. He's never underbid a job on me. I had always paid what he quoted me or even a little less (looking at that brake work you guys did 4 months ago).Update: Yet another vehicle taken care of by Keith and the crew. I had a 1993 Toyota 4Runner brought in back in December 2017. They completely rebuilt the engine for a great price and it is running as strong as ever. I dont know how I forgot to give credit where credit is due before but these guys consistently astonish me with their prices and reliability. I am in the process of shipping my 1996 Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo directly to their shop for what I suspect will be a complete rebuild. I hope not, but I trust their judgment and their work.Update 2: My parents needed work on their 2017 Toyota Rav4. My dad had called numerous shops and had quotes that shocked him. I called Keith and his quote was so much lower my dad opted to bring his Rav4 down from Newport News in order to get the work done at Family Auto Repair Plus. Keep it up Keith. You are the only shop I'll use.

I've brought my cars and my daughter's car here several times. As a woman, there's always some apprehension going to a mechanic, feeling sometimes like i wont get complete honesty, which leads to unnecessary work done hence unnecessary money spent! Keith has always been straightforward with his assessments, recommendations, as well as suggestions. Often times his suggestions are small inexpensive fixes I can do on my own, or he'll let me know if it's something I can hold off on; always educating me on my cars. When there is work that needs to be done, prices are very reasonable. I have an Audi and Mercedes and my daughter has an Infiniti. I have priced the work with these service departments, and estimates here are significantly much less.

I'd like to start off with my experience with this shop was amazing. The previous shop i dealt with left me in a bad situation with my engine replacement job i hired them for. I contacted a lot of other shop once I realized I needed to find someone else. Out of the many shops I contacted kieth at Family Auto Repair Plus stood out the most for many reasons. When talking with him he was very understanding and informal about how they can help. Also he set me up with different options and pricing that varied on what i wanted to do. He was very fair and reasonable with pricing and informed me that they backed up all there work . Now that everything is done i'm greatly pleased. So after my experience with this shop they gained a loyal customer. They are a great shop giving mechanics a great name. I'll stand behind referring them 100%

We've been to Family Auto several times and have never left there unhappy. Their prices are much better than anyone around and the problem has always been fixed correctly and the first time.They did the work for 1/2 the price of what Firestone wanted when Firestone failed our Expedition due to upper control arms. The latest repair was a complete upper engine rebuild and it was done for the lowest price I found in the city.The staff there is wonderful, and have always taken the time to explain the repair, why it's needed and what the cost will be. They have always gotten our truck back to me either on time or ahead of schedule.They have earned my families trust and we don't even check with other shops anymore - if something goes wrong we call Family Auto and they take care of the rest.They have earned my highest recommendation I could possibly give and I strongly recommend you give them a chance to earn your business!
