Need your TPMS changed without the hassle of buying a set of new tires or being denied because your tires are not manufactured/dealer tires? This is your place. These guys are the best! I was serviced less than an hour. Kevin, my specialist, explained the process and showed me how they determined if my sensors were compatible with theirs. He eased my worries and made me feel like a valued customer! Highly recommend this location! You guys rock! I am one happy girl!

From start to finish this was the BEST experience! Edgar gave me my quotes and answered all my questions. He said he would have everything saved and ready for me for when we came in which was definitely the case. The next day we pulled in bright and early to have new tires but on. I had not even really got out of my car when Nathan came out and asked my name and the keys to pull the car in! We left but got notification the job was done super quik. I was so impressed with how quick and easy the whole process was! Nathan coming out knowing who we were and what we where there for was a clear indication of thier communication and team work from my phone call. Thank you both!

This is the second time I into this place to get my tires installed and I m very happy living the place.. they get the work done fast as I watched the employees I see that they helped each other u don t see anyone just standing around. Also I came in around 445pm and and still took me in. I know I m some places if you walk in and they close at 6 they will turn u down even if they have time. I know for sure the base do. I recommend this place for sure.

100% recommend Discount Tire on Gen Booth BLVD in Virginia Beach. This store is hands down the best tire retailer/installer I have used in nearly 20 years living in Virginia Beach. Easy appointments, on time, friendly staff with minimal wait times. Free tire repair was a nice surprise during a recent visit and will solidify my choice in purchasing/installing tires in the future, regardless of price.

While on vacation we blew a tire but thankfully it happened right across the street from Discount Tire. Discount tire was awesome. They were reasonably priced, truck tires arent cheap, and one of their workers happily came across the street with all his supplies and majorly helped us out!!!! Very thankful!!

Making an appointment was simple on line. No waiting in line. We both inspected the tire. They took tire off, put it in a bath to look for leaks and even rotated my tires. He gave me a full report of what they found. No charge for inspection or rotation. Great place.

The best customer service and service. I buy all my tires and warranty from Discount Tire store. If your tire is under warranty and it blows out elsewhere, Discount tire will reimburse you a potion of the money spent on the tire as long it's under warranty and you have the receipt from where you bought it. Edgar and his team are top notch!

While traveling, towing a travel trailer,I ran over a nail and developed a slow tire leak. I called Discount Tire the morning after arriving and they worked me in to fix the tire. I left the truck and biked to the beach. The manager stayed, 30 minutes after hours, to give me the key when I booked back to pick up the truck. Great costumer service!

Today was the day. . the day I had to become responsible.After leaving my car dealership a couple months ago after an oil change and tire rotation I was told I needed new tires. *sigh*. It's something that everyone doesn't want to hear, however everyone knows it needs to happen sooner or later.My dad has been telling me about this shop and their great prices. I came in & was helped by Sean. He helped educate me on the different tires that they had to offer. We picked out a great one with a nice warranty and rebate (no mail in, online). It's nice to know that Discount Tire is located in a lot of busy city area.I spent most of my time getting educated about the tires than the actual tires getting put on. While I was waiting, I was given a ball cap & grabbed a cold bottle of water. I was in and out in 30 minutes.A couple pointers:- they offer military discount- they price match- you don't have to make an appointment- Sean said go to the Suffolk location and ask for him. He's transferring lol!Overall, great customer service!

Quality of work: 5 starsTimeliness of work: 1 starWork seems well above average. Technicians took their time completely addressing my slow leak problem. All of the people were friendly. With that said, the time estimate was WAY OFF for a very simple repair.Dropped off car around 1pm. Person at the counter said it would be done about 2:30 or so. Link they sent a few minutes later estimated car would be done around 3pm. I called around 3:45 and asked why status hadn't changed. The person stated they were running behind, but my car should be done soon.I got dropped off around 4:15; my car was still where I left it. Finally, around 5pm they started my car. While I was waiting, I struck up a conversation with someone that swore by the company, BUT stated they're always VERY slow. He brought a stack of bills in to do while he waited. Others in the lobby were very angry about waiting for so long.Amazingly, they were still telling walk-ins they could do there cars tonight if they wanted to wait. They finished my car around 5:20. Unfortunately, I had to wait around another 15-20 minutes for someone to be free at the counter long enough to give me back my keys. No apologies offered, but nothing charged. Free or not, I wouldn't recommend them unless you're dropping your car off to pick up the following day.

Ridiculously simple to get tires and fast service! Absolutely everyone that worked there have been nothing but courteous and helpful. They now offer windshield wiper blades too. Will definitely be a return customer!

This place is totally awesome. I bought 4 oversized tires and rims for my F250. They had to order everything, and they came in quicker than expected. They had them mounted,balanced and put on fast. The guys struggled with the size of them but job well done. I have had 2 tire repairs done since then and they take great care of customers. I will always deal at this shop.

Had 2 tires replaced which I brought in myself and it took longer than usual, so to compensate they threw in new wiper blades which I did not need. Invoice came out to over $85. Won t be coming back since I can go somewhere else and get 2 tires replaced for under $50.

The salesman met me in the parking lot.Got my tires rotated and balanced.They found a nail but not a leak. Free wiper blades. Fast service friendly folks there.

Stopped in on 2.28.18 to get some valve stems installed on my Toyota SUV wheels/tires. The service was top notch!Stopped in on 3.5.18 to get some tires mounted on custom, aftermarket wheels. Lidin did an OUTSTANDING job, as always. Not a scratch on them!KEEP ROCKING IT, GUYS/GALS!

This Discount Tire is located at the intersection of General Booth Blvd. and Dam Neck Rd. You can enter the business heading eastbound on Dam Neck Rd. or heading northbound along General Booth Blvd. The building and signs are highly visible from the road.My first visit here was on November 15, 2018. The reason for coming in was due to the TPMS light coming on for the car the evening before, meaning there was an issue with a tire somewhere. The place is pretty close to home so the travel there wasn't long at all. I went into the bay for their free air and tire pressure checks. After they did the check, sure enough, one of the tires was punctured. Since the tire was repairable, it was actually no cost to have it fixed there. One thing they told me afterwards is that one of my tires already had a tread depth of 4/32 and recommended replacing the tires soon. I guess my tires were getting tired already. I declined at the time as I hadn't had any other issues. In the end, this was a great first experience here, and would come back in the future to get new tires.After getting my car's oil change and tire rotation completed at my local dealership (free), they made a note as well about the tires should be looked at being replaced. I talked to them about it, but of course, the cost is much higher there and also brought up the issue that the tires are rated for 55,000 miles, yet I only had 25,000 miles on the car at the time. They offered to cover 30% of the cost to replace them, but the cost is still much higher than what I could get at Discount Tire.A week or so later, I was back at Discount Tire to start the process of looking at tires for my car, as well as my mom's car. I figured it would be best to get both done at the same time since both cars needed new tires. My initial visit for this was on April 13, 2019, but didn't commit yet as I was checking several places. Nicholas Sparrow was the one that I talked to then, who is also one of the store managers.About a week later, after searching for tires and checking different tire stores out, I went and ordered the tires for my car. After searching online beforehand, I found them cheaper by about $35 per tire. They will match tire prices, even online ones. The sales process as a whole was easy and no pressure. Two days after that, the tires were in and was time to have the tires put on the cars. Nicholas made the entire process very easy and hassle free. It was a great time to get them too between different rebates that ultimately added up to $120.Overall, this was an excellent experience for both incidents that brought me here. With the purchase of the tires, tire rotation and balances are included for the life of the tires, as well free air checks. Nicholas was great to work with and also had a great experience with the assistant manager Richard Weimer when the car was ready to be taken back. One thing I do want to note is that they do not do alignments at Discount Tire. In the end, if you are in the market for new tires, be sure to check out their website, check pricing elsewhere, and then come in with proof of the best price so they can match it when you get your tires here. You won't be disappointed.

I was vacationing in VB a couple of weeks ago, and on my way to Back Bay for a day of hiking when my tire pressure light came on unexpectedly. I pulled into the closest shopping center and discovered I had unfortunately picked up a nail at some point during the trip. Discount Tire is my preference back home so I was happy to see that a Discount Tire was right around the corner from my current location so I stopped by to see if they could assist. James was super nice checking me in. They were able to patch pretty quickly (and at no charge!) and I was out in maybe 30 minutes. So glad they could take care of me so my entire day wasn t derailed. Thank you!

If you want your wheels and tires done right, General Booth crew is the way to go in VB. Kyle, Tyler, Nico and the rest of the team here are extremely professional and provide outstanding customer service. Since the store s opening as one of their first customers, I ve spent thousands of dollars on wheels and tires over the years for my vehicles. I wouldn t take them anywhere else! Fast, professional, and efficient teamwork makes this the best DT in VB

This place was great. From my interaction with customer service to my transaction before exit. The employees were polite and worked diligently and timely manner even with 7 customers ahead of me for tire changes. Highly recommended. Got myself 4 tires with installation.

I had an issue with my tire and showed up without an appointment. They were able to get me in and out in less than 40 minutes and fixed my tire for FREE!! They were kind, courteous and well mannered. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely be back!

After a horrifying experience with a tire blowout on Nimmo Pkwy, I had Triple A tow me to this location. Marco was at the front desk to assist me and after a very short time he found exactly what the issue was right in the parking lot and offered me a pretty decent deal to have it repaired.They are pretty busy today and he has literally not stopped moving, answering phones, checking people in, and I will definitely be returning when it s time for a new set.

I have had this location install six sets of tires so far on our personal vehicles. Two times in a pinch with flat tires or damaged wheels. They have worked us in and got us out in less than several hours. Without a doubt some of the best customer service and pricing you will ever find. I give them my highest recommendation!!!

Great staff at the location. They were able to get me in the schedule right away to get my tire patched, which turns out to be a free service. Definitely going back when I need new tires.

Service date 02/02/2023; took my vehicle in for installation of two new front tires that I had purchased online back on 01/31/23. When the order delivery date and my self-scheduled appointment that I scheduled online for 02/06/23 was not going to work out, the store called me a day later and informed me of this. After a non-stressful in-store discussion and non-stressful followup phone-call discussion, the matter was resolved, most entirely due to the extra mile that the store manager Edgar C. went for me to help me get back on the road again. I have been relying on and going to this Discount Tire location for many years, and just when I thought this was the best Discount Tire store in my local area at its best, it proves me wrong and goes beyond that even further. Excellent customer service, professionalism, good timing, great work ethics and attitudes of the technicians and staff are still at an all time high level there as well. So a shout out to store manager Edgar C., thank you for your excellent help and service, and a thank you to all the technicians and staff working there as well. As always, will be coming back for further tire related services and needs for my vehicle.

UPDATE: 2-21-24 I feel like the general booth store has slipped. Booked the first appt online for this particular morning (@8:15), didn't touch my vehicle until after 9 some time. What is the point of the appointments??? They recently missed a puncture in one of my tires and sent me home only to find a flat tire the next morning. They lost my wife's wheel lock because a technician left it on the wheel .I feel like I have license to rant a bit because as an Uber driver with 3 vehicles, I have spent quite a few dollars here since the doors first opened. The slip hasn't been drastic, but hopefully it will start trending back to the level the community first fell in love with.DT continue s to amaze me! They make everything so logical and simple. Still shocked at how fast they complete service. My exclusive go to place for tires now!!!

Very professional and courteous. I had an 11:15 appointment to get the tires rotated on my dually truck and I was out of there in less than 40 minutes. Great customer service.
