These guys helped me with a problem that no other Shop could figure out. They were amazing. Very timely. . They did not rush, Put my baby back on the road thank you for your guises help and I will tell you guys if you want the best diesel shop to go to check these guys out

I'm a new Rv'er and have no idea about the world of owning a RV. I purchased a used RV, and needed minor adjustments because it has been sitting for awhile. They could have taking advantage of me in so many ways, but instead took the time out to educate me on the what to expect and cost effective ways to handle all upcoming repairs.They are small but in demand and waiting for professional quality service is to be expected. Thank you for your service, time and education.

We are back on the road again. We stayed over in Virginia Beach for a night after we ordered the air bag and had it shipped to Beach Diesel Repair. This was the only we 24 hour shop that answered their phone on a holiday weekend. I am praying you don't need any repairs but sometime we do. If you do, give them a call and get back on the road. I am posting their card. Friendly workers and staff.

Beach diesel repair ruined our Allison transmission and refuses to take responsibility. When we came to them low on transmission fluid, the mechanic Cas didn t even step inside our vehicle and gave us an unsealed, already-open bottle that DID NOT contain transmission fluid. They sold us a bottle of contaminated fluids that must ve been used to dump junk fluid at one point. You can see the yellow photo pictured, which was drained from our transmission only 2 hours after Beach Diesel sold this to us, and watched us dump it inside our vehicle. Not only have they not refund us $90 for the original bottle of fluid, but they have already cost us over $3,000 in repairs, tows, diagnoses, parts and more. An Allison transmission specialist (who cost us an additional $450 today), explained that all damages incurred are a direct cause of this contaminated fluid from Beach Diesel and provided us codes which prove there to be no issues prior to this instance. The worst part is that Beach Diesel is blaming this on their manufacturer, after giving us an open bottle and then acknowledging the contaminant itself within our transmission. While we don t believe this was intentional, and understand everyone makes mistakes we can t understand why after the mounting evidence they refuse to accept the damage caused or even apologize. We live full time in this vehicle and Beach Diesel has seriously hindered our way of life.

Out of towners STAY AWAY! They will exploit you!There is a reason why the African American guy there walks around a pistol on his hip ..These guys are crooks. Told me it was a new starter they were installing, turns out it was refurbished. After spending $1,750 2 weeks later it went out and my mechanic showed me what a new starter looks like.If you call the mobile service they will tell you it has to get towed to the shop to be repaired just to get more money out of you.I ve called over 10 times , left numerous messages and still haven t got a call back 13 months later.

Was told they would do the work, dropped bus off, sat two days never touched it, third day guy spends one hour and frys my starter, other guy says he'll fix it, next I'm told they said they didn't say drop it off and to get my bus towed out... worst experience ever, worst communication,.. owner doesn't take responsibility and hides behind secratary... DO NOT take your vehicle to Beach Diesel. NOOOOO!

Actually zero star , got to be the worst shop we had ever encountered, got ripped off 2700$ For a job that dealer charges 320$ , if you call them first time they are so nice and understanding, until they get ahold of the truck, they told us next morning they will have the parts and truck will be out of the shop as soon as the truck got in the shop , the story changed. Never got cursed so much in my lifeWell the 2700$ for two coolant hoses was the cherry on the top , telling us if we don t pay him he will damage the truckLook around have some patience find someone professional don t fall in this trap

This shop cost me $1000 and did not even work on my vehicle. Business has not brought money in - in 3 weeks. Complete staff quit.Phone rang for 5 days straight no answer. Thought my vehicle was being held hostage.Wasted $300 getting it towed here under a promise of Wed/Thursday review only to have to pick it up the following Wed for a tow to a new shop.$600 before any work done$400 in hotels for a week of nothing

I brought my truck in to have rusted-out hose fittings/lines on my transmission replaced. They up-sold me on replacing front-end parts, which was fine. Happy with the work that they did.When I drove to work the next day, an old, rusty transmission line next to the one they replaced leaked a small pond of fluid (I don t know why it waited until the morning after their work to let loose).I brought it in specifically to have the rusted transmission lines/fittings addressed and they were so focused on additional work (total 18 hours of labor at $125) they neglected the sole issue I brought the truck to them for.To their credit, they offered to drive to me and help at no charge, but I declined any more of their help. My truck is stranded until the new lines come in having someone else do the work.

Our truck wouldn't start! The battery was drained from the cold weather. The staff was friendly and patient they immediately assisted us... Rick came out and jump started us right away. He was very thorough and had a great personality!! I would definitely tell other drivers about Beach Diesel Repair...

I called these guys at 3:48 PM while on the road to fix my A/C. 5 pm and I m headed out the door. The gentleman I spoke with was super friendly and eager to help. I pulled into the shop and they immediately went to work. I was sweating like a hostage and everyone wants an arm and leg to do the work. This place is fair priced and very friendly. I would recommend them to any driver looking for a mechanic that takes a fair wage for a fair days labor . Good service and good people. Thanks Beach Diesel.

Despite the COVID19 they had my truck for over 2 &1/2 weeks due to distancing their staff caused a delay on repairs..... they were reasonable and fair with the cost for I had my power steering pump replaced and the recommended tune up for my 04 Ford Diesel 7.3 power stroke turbo. The only negative thing I can say is that they re poor on communication for I had to call them daily for the status of my truck. Hopefully my parts are covered under warranty for it was never stated on the final receipt.

Truly blessed to have found this shop when we had brake failure. Other mechanics in the area wouldn't even take a look for several weeks where as Beach Diesel had us back on the road in just a few days. The only downtime was waiting for parts which is very understandable. We were back on the road the same day parts arrived. Thank you for getting us home safe .

This is the worst repair shop in Hampton Roads. They are very unprofessional, and have no certified mechanics in the shop. I took my truck there for simple repairs. When i picked it up they led me to believe that the repairs were done. Two days later i took it back, because i was still having the same issues. They explained that i signed the paperwork and that i should have checked the truck out before i drove it off the lot. So they wanted to charge me another $2000 to fix the same problems that i just paid them to fix. The manager was rude and unprofessional. This company does not care about satisfying its customers or providing basic customer service. BUYER BEWARE.

Big rip off....Called told them I had self adjusting clutch to be reset said they could do but couldn't do it ok no problem. i told them to just check differential fluid I think its low due to just replacing wheel seal night before. It was low, the tech filled it up 30 min job. All to a whopping total of $293.05 for differential fluid. I was never told or advised of the cost or how there labor worked. They Charge a 2 hour minimum Poor customer service and slow checkout time. Dont come after hours unless it's an emergency, is my recommendation and get prices up front for their service. i won't be back thats for sure.!!!

We had a flat tire coming down Military Why. And without a question they were so helpful. They responded before the tow truck. JT was a God sent helping when he should have been on lunch and the manager Seika was so kind. If you need any truck, RV repair this us it!!!!!

I haven't had any issues. I've never paid $250 for any oil change for a gas vehicle. First time I've had the oil changed on my diesel truck.Nice people, but can't help but feel screwed over.**RIP OFF**Nonetheless, thanked them for the help as I was done calling stores to inquire if they had a lift capable of lifting the truck.

Awesome service! They dropped everything to make necessary repairs and get our driver back on the road safely. Pricing was more than fair for the amount of work needing done. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back if we are in the neighborhood!

I cannot say enough amzing things about Bruno (our mechanic) He is very thurough and understands that my vehicles are my business. Always has me back on the road in a timely manner. I have a truck, a RV, and two generators that he has worked on for me. I will never take them to anyone else!

Poorest customer service ever received. No point in making an appointment -- time not kept. They actually caused more damage then was repaired. No communication with the customer even when sitting in the same room! Failure to follow-up, failure to predict deadlines, failure to manage work load. Failure to even mind their business while new customers were trying to get service! I watched as a potential customer came in, looked around (no one was in the office or shop) and left. Of course, my work was not being done either. My opinion is that if you are black you might have a better chance... but, not likely.

Beach Diesel Repair saved the day! We were on our way to Virginia Beach for some camping. We were just outside of WIlliamsburgh when we noticed our tent-trailer (pop-up) was listing. When we looked under the trailer, we noticed that a leaf spring had completely broken in two! With only one spare leaf spring, we were in trouble. It was 4Pm on a Sat of a long weekend and we needed to get it fixed. We called Beach Diesel repair. The owners were out of town, but their mechanic talked to us over the phone, waited for us at the garage and was super friendly. He could not get the part until Monday, as it was a holiday. Coming in from out of town, we returned back and left the trailer there. On Monday he called to let us know he had the part, that he had to drive to another town to get it. He replaced BOTH leaf springs on Both sides, and the cost was well below what we were expecting! We drove back the following weekend, and he gave us his cell number to call him to meet us there at the shop (normally they are not open on weekends). He did, as did the owners (who were super friendly too). In the end, the repair was done well, and at a fraction of what we thought! Everyone was super nice and accomodating for us who were from out of town. Thank-you so much for saving us! It maybe a small little business, but their friendly nature, and ability to go out of their way to help us deserves a 5-star!

I had an engine failure on my sailboat on a Saturday and I needed an urgent repair. Beach Diesel Repair was the only place open in the weekend and arrived Saturday afternoon. They are not specialized in marine but still came. Mechanic Rick diagnosed the issue to sediment in diesel fuel which had been in the tank for 3 years. This was clogging filters and pumps. The problem couldn t be fixed Saturday as parts were needed. Tuesday Rick came again and we got the spare parts. And with a small separate diesel tank with clean diesel he got the engine running. Rick went above and beyond helping me out in the repair in the tiny hot engine space. And definitely recommend him.

They were able to fix my truck and get me back on the road within a couple hours. If I ever need service done on any of my trucks I will definitely come here first. Highly recommend!

Had repairs on my boat and used Beach Diesel and they sent out repair mechanic Rick he was here for 2 days and was very polite respectful and got the job done.We were very happy and would recommend this company to friends and fellow boaters.Thank you Rick U are the man!!!!!Rick Williamson

Generator went out and contacted Beach diesel repair. Same day service and Mr Rick Bolger came and repaired my generator. Outstanding service! If I m back in this area and need work I will call them

Gary was great ! Our RV broke down at 1 am coming out of Va beach tunnel . They came to us and diagnosed the problem til 3am .They got us towed and got the part and and RV was back up in 2 days and we could continue our trip . If you need RV repair they are great people to work with !
