$1500 in losses, I don't give less stars because there is no option, worst service of my life, I have never seen a company with such irresponsible technicians and with so much lack of care in their work, adding the lack of professionalism and the lies to charge for the service. They broke down my truck during the service and when I called the office to report the problem they hung up on me and to this day they don't answer me every time I call, I also went to the office in person and there was no one there. If the company does not contact me to reimburse the repair costs and the days without work, I will be forced to report this issue to the better business bureau and go to court, in addition to publishing the bad experience on all my social networks, local newspapers and with my co-workers who regularly they use the services of that company.I hired the company's services to replace the windshield of my truck (a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia), that is, a tractor trailer for commercial use. To begin, the technician went to the wrong address and it took him almost 20 minutes for him to understand that he was not in the right place. Once there, he began the work irresponsibly. After removing the windshield, he threw soapy water from afar. all over the edge of the rubber gasket, wetting documents that I had inside the truck, I also wet electrical cables and engine connectors that are not advisable to get wet because it can end up in malfunction of the sensors that exist in the engine. The worst part was that the technician did not pay attention to the places he put his foot and irresponsibly broke one of the engine antifreeze hoses, leaving the truck out of service. In the photos you can see all the antifreeze on the floor and in In the video, the union of the hoses dripping with antifreeze, the black material that is seen in the video at the point of the break was placed by the technician in an attempt to stop the flow of liquid, obviously he had no idea what he was doing, I had to constantly take my foot off the engine parts because it would rest wherever it wanted without knowing if they were fragile parts or electrical connections or sensors, etc.At the end of the service he told me that there was no one at the head office and that I had to wait until the next day to report the problem, and that the company would surely send someone to fix the problem, plus I had to pay for the service to that they could take charge of repairing the damage, in the end it was all a lie, for the rest of the afternoon I was calling the number where they hung up on me and they never answered me, however I called from another number and when they heard my voice They hung up the call again. The next day I went to the Virginia Beach office since it is the address they have on the website and the one that appears on the service receipt, and the office seemed abandoned, I was waiting for a while and no one showed up, then I went to the office that they have in Newport News and I found the same scenario, also throughout the day I was calling the two offices and the technician who came and they never answered the phone, I lost 3 days of work in addition to the stress and the bad time, being that In this month (January 2023) and the next I have to work as much as possible because in March I have to stop working for a month for personal reasons. In short, read this company's reviews carefully and avoid using their services at all costs, it is better to pay a little more than have these problems later.

Called for a quote on windshield replacement after receiving a quote for over $1100 from a national competitor outfit. American Auto Glass quoted me a price less than half of the competition. They had the glass in stock and scheduled the repair for the very next day. Dropped the car off and repair was finished a couple hours later. They Also offered to do the replacement at my home at no extra charge but I opted to drop off instead. The entire process was quick, painless, and affordable. The cost to replace the glass was less than it would have cost to pay the deductible on my insurance.

I did not go to their shop but the technician came to my car. No charge by the way. It's a 1989 EF9 but the windshield was out cleaning process and sealing in less than an hour. No rush just that experience coming into play.

Very well trained, quick n simple. Great low price! Thank you!Update: Though I am happy with the results, my payment did go through to this service same day windshield was fixed, but already tried getting charged twice. They tried to tell me before that my payment didn't go through, but it did and I never got any refunds back. I'm not okay with giving another set of money if I didn't get the previous money back. Please stop charging me, I have already paid.Update #2: I have been attempted to get charged for the 5th or 6th time already. I'm losing my respect for this company. Just get me off your systems.

The Worst experience that I have had in a long time with a Glass repair company.I scheduled an appointment and waited for the allotted time given before I called.I was then connected with Curtis who confirmed he saw the appointment and would send me an update.Curtis Horton Never responded back to me and I am parked in a warehouse free of rain and explained that at time of appointment. Horrible communication skills and volunteers lies for No reason

After calling more than a dozen different auto glass repair shops to get quote, not only did these folks provide the best price but the service was absolutely phenomenonal!Service was incredibly prompt, apointment was a breeze, and the representative (Philip) called before heading out to confirm. I had requested an appointment initially at a different location. When Philip called and I explained the vehicle was at my house and not at initial location planned, this was not a problem. (excellent communication and service).Philip came to my house, replaced my windshield, explained exactly what he was doing and the whole process. He is incredibly respectful, informative, conscientious, and provides some of the best customer service I have ever received.Outstanding service, great price!If Philip represents everything that is American Auto Glass, this best car glass repair company. Period. Taking those two into account, the quality level of service and the price, there is no competition and American Auto Glass is the best and unbeatable!Philip is amazing and an absolute asset to American Auto Glass. Give this man a raise! Wow! Very impressed!

Absolutely amazing service! I was able to schedule an appointment for two vehicle window replacements for the morning the following day. The technician had both windows replaced and all tape residue cleaned in just about an hour. Following the initial appointments I was able to schedule a windshield replacement for later that afternoon. The windshield was replaced in less than an hour. Quick, efficient and fantastic work! I highly recommend using American Auto Glass for any of your vehicles, I definitely plan on returning for any glass replacement/repairs in the future.

Our brand new expedition needed a new windshield due to a rock cracking it on the interstate. When I say brand new, we're talking 1,500 miles. American Auto Glass came and replaced the windshield and also left us 2 scratches on the vehicle body. One was 3 inches long and down to the metal. The tech didn't say anything, but rather just left it and I guess hoped we wouldn't notice. They have since been the most unprofessional company we've dealt with in a long time and continuously giving us the runaround. The guy we have been corresponding won't even provide us with his name. #sketchy He also stated he was just the 3rd party and we should be coordinating the fix (for his mistake) with his un-reachable paint guy.Upon looking at our cameras of the replacement, the tech had his feet/shoes all up on the sides of our vehicle doors and seats! I guess we are lucky they only left us with 2 spots of damage.DO NOT USE.Service: Auto windshield replacement

Wish I would of known Budget Auto Glass sent it's business to American Auto Glass never would have done business with them. I was quoted a price of 190.00 on the phone. When install was complete was told I owed 249.67.The windshield was 131.76 and was charged 110.00 for 2.3 hrs. of labor. The install was done in less than an hour. Will be filing a complaint with BBB. Wish I would of known how many names they do business under, none of them have a good reputation. Need to check all American Auto Glass to see how bad they really are.Service: Auto windshield replacement

Called the company for a quote yesterday and was pleased with the pricing so scheduled an appointment for them to replace the windshield the next day. They came to my resident prompt and on time. The glass technicians were friendly and helpful. They got everything done in under an hour. I highly recommend them to anybody and everybody within hampton roads. Will be doing further business in the future

Called and was told they'd be out in the morning to replace a windshield. By 10:30 when we still had not heard from them I called, guy told me he couldn't read the other guys notes from the day before he'd look into it and call me back. Nothing, I've tried calling both the number on Google and the number on their website, sent to vm and it's full. DO NOT RECOMMEND

They were really eager to replace my windshield, but absolutely not eager to take care of me due to a loud wind noise after install, and the EyeSight on my car not working after install. Do not choose this company. They are very responsive until they get your money, then radio silence.I chose them over Safelite because they told me I wouldn't have to recalibrate the EyeSight after installation (Safelite said I would). The owner, Curtis assured me that I would be fine without the calibration. We waited 24 hours after installation, and the first time we drove the car, there was a loud noise from an improper seal. To make matters worse, the major safety feature of my car also won't work after the new windshield was replaced, and needs to be recalibrated. They only responded to the warranty department of my insurance (not to my calls and texts). Now, they quit responding when I'm trying to work with them to have it re-sealed and calibrated. TERRIBLE customer service. This place is run by hacks.Service: Auto windshield replacement

I called to get a price to replace the broken windshield. Whomever answered and promised me that they can order it and it will be delivered in 4 days and they will call me to set the appointment to have it installed. They never called and when I called to check they said that they need to look it up and call me back shortly. But they never did and when I called again their phone was not answering and the mailbox was full. Beware.Service: Auto windshield replacement

I m reading five star reviews and thinking that there must have been a change in management, because we ve been waiting weeks for a refund.We had a couple of cracks in our windshield and went to have it fixed. It was perfect until it rained. We took it back and it s gotten worse.We ve been promised a refund, but it s been over a month and we can t get a hold of anyone on the phone, and it seems they close earlier than listed on google.Not worth it. Job quality sucks, customer service is sub par, and people are rude. Avoid at all costs. And should you choose to use them, may the odds be ever in your favor.

America auto glass was a great experience did everything they said they were going to do and they did exactly what I asked. The guy I talked to on the phone that place me order was very helpful. The tech that came out to my house was very knowledgeable and was fast and did excellent work. I will tell everyone to use American Auto Glass. 2/1/19

They replaced a completely shattered rear window the same day and came to me for free. There was a little miscommunication and they bought the wrong glass the first time, but the guy just went back and got the right one. It took him less than 30 minutes to replace my windshield. It looks and works like it did before this happened. Price was very reasonable too.

I had been searching for an affordable glass company due to my glass breaking in different areas. I called this company at about 12pm and they were here to fix my window by 3pm. It took them about 30 min and they were done the work looks beautiful and they were about $60 cheaper than most companies I got quotes from. Very satisfied customer will recommend and come to them for any of my glass need!

Had a windshield installed on my 2004 Lexus IS300 on Monday, paid $170 for it to be done. Thought I was getting a good deal. Drove straight home, parked it Monday, while taking the 24 hour tape off on Tuesday I noticed that the gasket was not set properly. Called Tuesday afternoon to give them a chance to fix it, guy that answered the phone was nice made the appointment for Wednesday morning to be fixed. So I arrive at my appointment and instead of fixing the issue the guy caulked the windshield gasket. I drove to the vb store thinking a manager would be available, nope...neither their norfolk or vb stores have office ppl or managers available. I call the number, the guy says he will call me back in 10mins well that was at 855am, it's now 12:18pm and he still has not called back. I have called numerous times and he does not answer! I dont want them working on my car ever again. They half a$#ed the job the first and second time! Guess we are now headed to small claims court.

I was rejected from my state safety inspection because of cracks in my windshield. I called American Auto Glass and they said I could come in anytime the same day. I went right there and they immediately got my car in their garage and began getting the new windshield in. I also called Safelite before them and I had to make an appointment one week out. Safelite also gave me a quote for $334. American Auto Glass quoted me at only $180 installed. They were remodeling their office so I understood the lack of entertainment in their waiting area. Regardless, they put my new windshield in within an hour or me calling, they were all extremely friendly, and I only paid about half the price as opposed to Safelite. Also, they cleaned out the interior of my car when they were done! I highly recommend American Auto Glass for any auto window repair you need.

American Auto Glass were awesome. I broke my neighbors little rear mini van window Saturday morning and they got the window and replaced by Monday a little after noon. They told me they would have come Saturday if they had the part in stock. Price was reasonable and great customer service.

4th time using this company today for our vans at work. I found them while shopping price, because our insurance only covers damaged glass from an accident and then there is a $250 deductible. So, far they have made me look good. Only had to go to shop once for install.

I called around looking for the best price on a windshield .this please gave the best price, they couldn't do same day services but I got in first thing in the morning. Came in the time they said he would, kept me informed and was very respectfully .also the whole thing toke maybe 45 min .

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY. They made a duplicate charge on our account A WEEK AFTER THE SERVICE WAS PERFORMED without our permission. When we confronted them about the issue they acknowledged that they made a mistake and told us they would refund us. We have called several times for the refund and they keep telling us they will call us back to issue the refund but they never do. They seem totally unapologetic for over charging us and have no priority to make this right.

American Auto Glass came out and replaced my windshield back in December. Two weeks later I took my car through the car wash and water started leaking through my windshieild. They came out to fix it and then noticed a crack in the windshield coming from the bottom passenger side, below the dashboard. Because of the where the crack was located, it was a manufacture issue. Called them back in the beginning of Feb and they said they would come out to replace it and no one ever showed up. Called back two more times, when I could actually get someone on the phone, and no one ever showed up to fix the windshield. They have left me with a crack windshield that I will have to now have replaced because they don't stand behind their work. Called Doug on the 19th of March and he was rude and acted like he could care less. Do not use these people!!!!!!

I worked with this company two times in the past, excellent service from the gentleman. I called to get service yesterday and the gentle who came yesterday was rude, aggressive and disrespectful. He burst opened my office door, intimated my office staff with his loud and verbal aggressive behavior. Will never use them again.
