An awful awful experienceDo not go here stay away understaffedNot professional or effecient they took two hrs to change a batteryInstead of sticking to the task getting it done they kept stopping to help other people absolutely disgusted and disappointed

The people that work here are amazing if I could give more than 5 starts I would. I walked in at 8 something for my battery to get changed (yes I was that person) the guy at the register was super kind and helpful I do not recall his name. But Adam went above and beyond he knew all about what I needed even though I didn t listen at first and when we had to change it to what he originally said to use he was so kind and patient with me to be honest idk if I woulda been if I was in his shoes. He is the best !!! The way my battery is positioned in my car it s a pain to get out and he did it with no hesitation it was a jigsaw puzzle idk how he did it. They both stayed an hour after closing just to help me out I can t be more thankful. If you go there and Adam is there you re in good hands he deserves a raise forsure !!

Stopped by to get my battery evaluated. James came right out and walked me through the process. He was calm and patient, determined that I did indeed need to replace my failing battery and helped me choose the appropriate replacement. And he did it in the rain, with a smile!

Went to one advanced Auto parts store up at Virginia Beach boulevard and witchduck could not find a oil filter for the 66 diesel didn't have a listing or anything so I had to went to another one and they had the listing and I got one from another place at Cypress point but then I was running around trying to find something it should be very easy to get

I have a great lack of enjoyment for employees who act superior because they understand a company policy better than you....isn't that their job? Now imparting that information to me in a manner that is informative rather than acting as though I've created a tedious situation especially when I've asked questions that would have clued them in when added to their experience had they been listening instead of hearing, now that would be true customer service.....right but not here...at least not today....hopefully others have better experiences

Portsmouth store employees were not a great deal of help, did not up sell to better product, sold bottom line product. No interest in good customer service autozone in Chesapeake 1 mile away offered great customer service and offered a range of products pertaining to my needs maybe just a bad day or poor employee at advance store

Had to get new battery for my nieces car. She gave make and model and all info for her car. She buys battery he supplied. We drove back to her car, only to find out it's the wrong battery!! Had to drive back! Not happy!

Luke at Advanced Auto was awesome! He helped me replace my underpowered battery with a much better one, and had no problem helping me install it for free despite it being a pain in the neck to make it fit correctly. He even gave me a discount after all that!

My car battery was very low in power. It was still in warranty from Advance Auto. Advance Auto, checked my battery, tried to charge it. After five minutes, the technician said that they will swap my battery for a new one. He made the transaction, cleaned my battery cables, put in my new battery, and checked my alternator free of charge within 15 minutes. He was very friendly and helpful. Yaaaay, Advance Auto! Keep up the good work.

Always helpful. Great customer service everytime I come in. Granted, giving others the same excellent customer service means a bit of a wait, but I don't mind, I know that's the reason for the wait. Keep up the great work!

Store associate was very helpful, brought out the diagnostic tool and gave me the error codes that my check engine light had stored. I was able to get the parts I needed to fix my car at a reasonable price.

I have probably spent over a couple grand at this location and Bill would not even let me borrow a c-clamp for the brake pads he sold me which I was changing in the parking lot. Instead he told me I could pay 100$ for some kit. I bought a clamp instead which was the last purchase I will ever make there. I guarantee you Auto Zone would have helped me out.

This a good store to visit if you need help with your car battery. I've visited here twice with a battery issue and both times the customer service was awesome. The store was clean and organized. Check them out.

Average auto parts store. The selection is convenient and quality is acceptable. Staff was slightly pushy when it came to troubleshooting. Their assistance would have been more welcoming if it was needed.

First visit observation. There were a lot(3) of employees standing around while one ran around like crazy helping everyone (3). They were in plain view talking loudly and ignoring everyone. Granted they were talking shop but you know...priorities? I mean that's what people go to brick and mortars for anymore right? People. Help from people. I'll order from the robots (the web) next time.
