I attempted twice to get my car reinspected. The hours for inspection are listed as Monday-Friday from 8a-5p. Last Friday, I arrived at 423p and was told that the inspector was gone for the day, and their last inspection is at 415p. I returned again today for the same purpose around 3p. There was a car in the bay and one ahead of me. Upon arrival, I was asked what I needed. I replied a reinspect. The employee told me he would have to see if the inspector was still here. I waited in my vehicle for a few minutes and was told he was still there but had one in front of me. (I found it odd that the inspector was possibly gone for the day but already had a car ahead of me there for an inspection) I informed the employee I was a reinspect, and their policy was to move us to the front of the line as told to me at the original inspection. He said "ok" and told me to wait there. Shortly after, another employee came to my car and said that the 15-day timeframe for reinspect had pasted. I became very annoyed, and I pulled out of the parking lot. As I was pulling away, my husband noticed the rejection sticker was dated 3/22/24, only 14 days from today. I circled back around to the bay and went to the back door. The same employee met me at the door, and I told her the sticker date. She replied that the system showed 3/20/24, and it would be considered a new inspection. I had her walk to the car to show her the sticker date. When she saw the date, she said you have one in front of you and went to walk away. I called her to the car again and reiterated that we were a reinspect, and their policy states that we get priority. The whole experience was confusing and frustrating. The inspector does not seem to want to do their job. No one knew what was going on, and no one had the same story. Very unprofessional and argumentative. Will not be returning!

Awesome Staff. My rear brakes went out on the way to Charlottesville. They were able to fit me in and do my brakes. They made sure my brakes were good before we left.

Second time this has happened at this location. Called in and asked if an inspection was possible. I was told sure come in, we aren t busy .Arrived within 10 minutes of the phone call only to be told our inspector had to leave for a meeting. Sorry we didn t know. We have fleet vehicles and will be taking our business elsewhere from now on.

I went in to get my vehicle re inspected due to bad front and read brake pads which was the only thing that failed it the first time. Put brand new pads on the front and rear and came back and the two male employees kept staring at my car for over 15 mins and one finally asked me about my aftermarket exhaust which passed the first time might i add said it might not pass which is weird because all i had to fix was the front and rear brakes. Long story short they finally brought my car in and raised it up and seen i had new pads on and they lowered it and drove it back around to the back. I asked the female employee why is it back around again and they said they had to re inspect it again ala exaust which passed and wasn t to be fixed or anything. I knew as soon as they asked about if i had a catalytic converter on or not it wasn t about my brake pads anymore and only that. And yes it is a cat back exaust but whatever. It s a wasted hour of my life i ll get back at another company that ll actually inspect it and not find magical parts that all of a sudden needs to be re looked at. Maybe if this place would hire people who actually worked and not mostly standing around in the garage bay because they think it s hilarious for people to have to wait on whats going on. Future customers of this establishment should be advised to steer clear and go somewhere else that actually care about its customers. I wish i could give it a minus 5 but it s not like they would care either way.

Don't let the reviews fool you. The Staunton Jiffy Lube Team is exceptional. They care about their customers, they are thorough, respectful, and kind. I live and work in Harrisonburg but drive 30 minutes to Staunton for all of vehicle service and work. The manager/owner of this location is Roy and he is a community supporter and heck of a good guy. Staunton Jiffy Lube is my home town mechanic and I challenge anyone who feels differently to find a local mechanic who is more transparent or customer service oriented than this team. #ThanksJiffyLube

Just went there for an inspection because I work all the time and I don t have time I took the day off for that reason the rude chick never acknowledges my existence so I tell her that I m here to get an inspection and she tells me you know you have a 7 on there instead of doing her job and inspecting my car. I will definitely take my business elsewhere. Worse customer service ever.

I was visiting the area and went to get an oil change on Valentine's day and left with a broken glovebox. Drove 2.5 hours home the next day thinking that they maybe didn't latch the glovebox in properly (I do not know much about cars). My dad took a look at it and realized they had damaged my glovebox when checking the cabin air filter. He called and the workers told him that they had told me it was broken. 1) it was not broken before 2) they did not mention it was broken at any time during my visit. They told my father I could drive back and they would take a look at it. Since I live in NOVA, I wasn't able to drive back for roughly two weeks. I arrived and they confirmed it was broken, and asked for my information. They said they'd be in touch with me and would order a replacement. All in all, it took over a month and a half to resolve. I do not believe any of the workers apologized at all throughout my three visits in, and the woman working there specifically seemed bothered by my return when they had to confirm it was actually broken. The mechanic working on the car seemed very nice, but I can't help but feel very taken advantage of as a woman. I truly believe they knew they broke it and purposely didn't say anything because they figured I wouldn't realize until it was too late. I've never had a problem with Jiffy Lube before, but after this I will not be returning to this location.Edit: the owner asked me to email them ( as seen below). I emailed them as soon as they commented that and I haven t heard anything since!Service: Oil change

I don't leave reviews much, but I had a wonderful experience with this Jiffy Lube. I have recently been experiencing some financial hardship and had to get my tires replaced on my vehicle. I searched everywhere for some affordable tires to put on my car and when I got here, I found some. Not only were the tires affordable for me, I had applied for a new credit card to pay for them but I didn't have the card yet. The manager worked hard to get my new card info to go through; although to no avail. He told me to come back when I had the card and, when I did, they gave me the tires for the same price and we were able to get the card to go through. I appreciate that the manager worked so hard to help me out and gave me a deal. My tires were replaced and they put Nitrogen in them at no extra cost due to my tire pressure monitoring system being down. If you're in a tight spot and need affordable tires, this is the place to go. I also haven't had any troubles since they've been replaced.Service: Tires

I've always had a good experience at the Staunton location. Usually I just get the oil change and maybe some other basic stuff. One time, they worked on my car but weren't able to fix the issue, so I wasn't charged, which I appreciated. The waiting area is also nice -- computer, magazines, TV, coffee and water, A/C. I do wish employees didn't have to stand outside in all weather, but I guess it helps direct the line when they get busy.

Jiffy Lube in Staunton was fast, efficient, and friendly. They took time to explain the process to us and it was all less than 25 minutes. I had no wait. In addition, they have great promotions ($10.00 off) and I will keep coming back!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

First customer in at 8:30 am, so no waiting. Efficient and friendly service. The entire place looked clean and professionally run. Price - $78.48 for my oil change. More than I expected to pay but that is the market right now. Very satisfied with my visit and the service!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Absolute crooks. Failed my car for inspection when another mechanic said there was nothing wrong. I wouldn't trust them for anything.

They quoted me one price but the final price was $40 higher.. The manager made it right and adjusted to even less than the quote, which was outstanding and worth five stars. However, the guy who pulled my vehicle in didn't notice that the lights were on and left them on. Finally they did not check air pressure on tires, so the final is four stars.

My car had a flat as I was coming down the hill beside the jiffy lube I had to pull in there at 3:00 in the morning and parked the car I left a note on the car saying that my tire was flattened that I would call as soon as I got up that day my friend was able to get us a ride back to our apartment apartment complex and in the morning I called them and they went ahead and fixed the flat tire for me and then when I found a ride I was able to go and pay them which was inexpensive and drive my car away it was fast reliable and friendly service

As a person who typically does my oil changes, this was a bit different for me as it was my first time having somebody else change my oil. Overall the experience was good but seemed a bit confusing for what it really was. Lots of options and upsell things. Staff overall did a good job but seemed like the website does not properly indicate the services available here

After several years of taking my car elsewhere to get checked out, I came here and was given the best service I've ever gotten at a service shop. The technicians - Roy, Joe, and Matt - were able to do a full run-down of my car and kept me updated on the process and what they were doing throughout. I highly recommend this place for anyone needing parts and repair.

I tried to pay for my service and the internet went out. They didn t have a way to take my credit card manually- so I was told that they would call me and I could give it over the phone when the internet came back on. Not my problem, but- cool, I still want to pay for my oil change. They called later that day- but could not figure out how to get my credit card to charge. Which, by the way, was not a fault of mine. My credit is immaculate and the card had plenty left on it. They asked me to come in when it was convenient. Never offered me a discount, or apologized. It was not convenient. Convenient is paying for a service, and then leaving. Inconvenient is what happened. I am a father of two with three jobs, trying to make ends meet, and these people called me several times weekly- demanding that I come back to their store to pay. Then it switched to threats to sue me for my refusal to pay- saying that they had me on video . When I talked to the manager, Joe- he still refused to apologize, even after I gave him the same credit card number and he somehow miraculously used it to pay. I expressed my dismay/ to which he explained that I was given a $10 discount. Which was actually from a coupon I used! I told him this, and how upset I was for them treating me like a criminal. He shrugged it off. Go to Mr. Tire. I m sure that if their internet goes down- they won t treat you like you re skating out on an EIGHTY FIVE DOLLAR OIL CHANGE.

Who likes getting their oil changed?! Me neither but this last experience had me dumbfounded: they were too fast! No sooner as I connected into my hotspot and poured a cup of coffee they were calling me out. Maybe it was a Covid anomaly but was still something worth recognizing

Being new to the area I didn't know where to get my oil changed and as I was driving down the road I happened to see two smiling faces in front of a jiffy lube. I did a u-turn and drove into the parking lot and explained and explain to a gentleman named Roy that I wasn't too knowledgeable on oil changes and I needed information and the service done. As busy as they were he stopped for a moment and gave me all the knowledge and insight I needed on getting my oil changed. Roy and his team we're extremely helpful and I encourage anyone to use this jiffy lube. I don't normally leave reviews but this kind of touched my heart on the kindness and empathy the business showed for me. I encourage any resident or visiting party to use the jiffy lube on Greenville avenue in Staunton Virginia Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

The people here are very nice, polite, and they do a great job. They don't try to do work that doesn't need doing. My experience this morning was probably the best Jiffy Lube experience I've had in a long time.

Didn't have any issues with the oil change itself, but the staff was terrible. They acted like I was bother to them coming by, rather than a customer to help. If given the option, I would go another Jiffy Lube.
