The employees at this store offer outstanding customer service. Prices are close at all of the local auto parts stores but the customer service here makes them the best place to shop.

This morning when it started to rain on my way to the office, I turned on my wipers and guess what--one was broken. Went to the Advance Store around 1:30 today and Luke (nice young man at register) helped me. He found the blades I wanted and put them on and I was out within 15 minutes or so. He was very polite and helpful. Blades were not overly expensive for Rainex blades. I told him to replace both at the same time. Good place to go.

So when I pulled up here to the store, me and the employees never knew I was going to be giving them a run for their money. I have a 2006 Jeep Commander and my battery wasn't doing so well. So I've been having problems for a little while with the electricity in my car and didn't realize that I needed a battery. I was on the final stretch of my 14-hour road trip when things weren't going so well with my car. Advanced Auto parts was too far, so I called and the girl found the battery that I needed immediately, so I headed right over. She was super fast and quick with the sale. When we got out to the car though however, we realized that there was rusted bolts and screws and we couldn't get one of the terminals loose on my old battery. So the other female employee came out and tried as well to get this terminal off, she couldn't do it either. Then the young gentleman came out also and he ended up helping me as well. God bless all three of them because I was there for over an hour and 15 minutes while they painstakingly tried to get my old battery out of my car. Well after all was done they got my battery out of my car. Thankfully that was the problem and it was all fixed. I got back on my road trip knowing that I was going to be safe, with a brand new battery from the awesome people at the Advanced Auto in Straunton Virginia! Thanks again y'all are just amazing!

We met up with some friends recently, and ended up here. We live three hours away and our friends live two hours away, so it's a good place to meet. We received a phone call from our friends saying they were at the convenient store getting gas, and that they could not get their car started. Dawn & Dawn were to the rescue!! They were so helpful by helping us get the parts we needed after assessing everything. We were able to get on the road and continue our visit!! Thanks again!!

Wow, you guys have a cashier who knows about cars and car products?!?She didn't even ask me what engine was in my 2006 Impreza to price check a battery. Gave me good advice on how to kludge my carbs back together. Im from over in Charlottesville but I usually I have to answer 20 questions to get anything done.Receipt says Leah.Thanks for the good advice!10/12 around 9am.

Candi, my Advance Rep, provided the best Advance experience I've had in recent memory. She was very cheerful and knowledgeable. She assisted in acquiring the best possible deal for my particular project and up-sold a fantastic special on Brake Cleaner. I wish this Advance was the closest to my home.Thank you again, Candi. You're awesome!!!

My engine light came on and this is very scary to me. It means something is wrong and I needed to find out quickly!! I called a big dealership and they wanted $99 just to diagnose my car!? So I went Advance Auto and they diagnosed my car for free!?! Saved me $99 and thats alot, especially when your on a fixed income!!! Also the employees are very friendly and do everything they can to help you.

The one guy who waited in me was rude and acted like he didnt want to wait on a female. Then I asked him to help me to take off the radiator cap and he couldn't open it went back inside the store to get A REAL MAN to help me.I will never go back to that store.2-1-2022I went in today and was VERY PLEASED to have someone who actually cared about customers.Cletus and Chaz helped me find some de icer. They both were very friendly. Thank u Cletus and Chaz for making me feeling welcomed in ur store..

It was fine. Would have been better if I could have bought them on line and gotten the 20% discount. Unfortunately didn't happen that way but the clerk put them on for me so not complaining.

I went in to ask one of the four people behind the desk if they could help me figure out how to put a directional light in my Chevy. They said that they could not help me because it was not in their job description basically. There were only two other customers besides me in the store I figured one of the four could help but guess not . That is just one more reason I always go to AutoZone .

Bad customer service. Every time I go in here they usually them give me the wrong part. I went in this evening after I had called to verify the parts were in stock. I got there and they said that they did not have one of the parts and the part they did give me did not fit. So I wasted about an hour of my time and gas for nothing, thanks guys. Go to auto zone your better off. Or at least until they hire employees that actually know what they're doing. Wish they had negative stars!!!

The guy that helped my fiance had the audacity to talk to him about going to strip clubs, while I was on the phone with him and could hear their conversation. Not only am I absolutely disgusted I also feel very disrespected from this man. My fiance will not be returning to this store unless they can find employees who have some class.

Called in to see if they had some windshield wipers and they told me yes. So i drove 25 minutes to get them and got there and asked and they said they couldn t sell them they were special ones. Then I found wipers for 11.99 and they came up as 22.99, so you would think they would price match. NOPE. Charged me 22.99 a piece! Then I asked to have my wipers put on & waited 10 minutes for that also. Horrible experience & service. Very rude customer service.

Walked in and saw one associate in the back of the sales floor... I could hear several people in the back laughing... I walked right by the guy on the floor putting on stock and he never acknowledged my presence. I then stood at the counter for 10 minutes and was never approached... I left and went to AUTOZONE ... they at least cared I was there... very disappointed.

Don't trust the salesman always. I told him specifically a part I needed, I bought it only to have to take it because it was completely the wrong piece. The second person reentered the same info only to come up with a completely different part that cost over 1/2 less and him shaking his head saying I have no idea where he got this part from

They have good parts and products. Glad they exist, but something not quite right at this store. Dark lighting and impersonal, grumpy staff. I use them as a last resort.

I only use advance when I have too. I literally had to look for the parts myself after I waited 20 minutes for the people to come out of the back. The poor guy working the desk needs a raise. He was busy and nobody was helping him. They were hid out in the back.

Advance Auto Parts consistently tries to offer the most competitive prices for auto parts that I have found. Their attendants at this store are helpful and polite.

Had to get 6 batteries for a golf cart. They had 2, they got the other 4 by next morning. Great service!

The manager (mary)was rude when I tried to show my boyfriend a part and she told us we couldn't be back there. But mind you it's right where the bathrooms was. Then she accused him of stealing something but it was a display box so it had nothing in it. O and the managers boyfriend tried to fight my boyfriend.

Employee Kelly Bell uses the business phone to call and threaten the woman he is married to along with her 2 children.. This man should not work here and is a total nuisance and drug addict! I will be contacting corporate about this ongoing issue!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable prices. If they don't have what you need they will get it for you.
