They did the estimate and were able to start working on it the next day. Other places were scheduling repairs in March and April. The insurance company only had me get one estimate because Gorman and Sons was a select service site so I can't say for sure how good their prices are but I can say the total came to about what I was expecting to pay. The repairs far exceeded my expectations and they were completed much faster than I anticipated. The car looks brand new again. You won't find a friendlier, more professional group of people and I highly recommend them.

I have a 2003 red Silverado with a rusted out driver side rocker panel. When I picked up the truck, it looked great. The work looked great and perfect paint match. They are great people to work with and I would recommend them for any body/paint work needed. Thanks for making my truck look new again!

They were courteous but turned me away because "they don't do rust." No offense but what? Why are you even in the car body repair business, do you "only do collisions" and maybe only if the insurance is paying or what?

Gorman & Sons did an excellent job on my car. They were professional and very friendly. The paint job is so flawless it brought tears to my eyes. I'm very picky and I pay close attention to details and they didn't miss a thing!! I highly recommend them.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

I had a minor accident over a month ago. I decided yo take my Jeep over to Gorman and Sons because it was with my insurance and was only about a 10-15 minute drive down the road. They had my Jeep for 4 weeks. I went in vacation and came back and they still had it. I assumed this was to make sure everything was right but I never received any update calls. If I wanted an update I ended having to call them myself. But the list of things that were NOT fixed or weren t properly fixed are as follows. Lettering on hood was off center, crooked, and oddly spaced RT headlight was not attached properly and had broken brackets and mounts LT fog light was not attached properly and also had broken mounts and brackets The wrong bumper was installed with the wrong lower grille panels A rail behind the main bumper was bent The Intercooler was dented multiple brackets and mounting points were not fixed or reinstalled properly Spots in the paint on the hood were present New scratches in paint in various placesAll this and a little more. I m lucky that the second shop I went to is great and clearly knows what they are doing. I am more than willing to accept that everyone has an off day, but I will never bring my vehicle to Gorman and Sons again. I don t care what their satisfaction guarantee is. They earn a few points for actually replacing my aftermarket grille blackout panels and finding a persistent noise. But that s not enough to earn another star. They treated me with little respect and my car with even less.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

They are really really friendly and honest. Best customer service. My Car was fixed like new and even brought it back cause my sensor fell out months later and they fixed it with no problem and no cost. Thank you for the amazing job.

Very friendly, nice folks who provide excellent service and repair. The owner is on site and runs a great shop. The office staff are very experienced in dealing with insurance companies. Over the years Gorman & Sons has repaired several cars for our family. They always give an accurate estimate, a clear explanation of the work that will be done, how long it will take, and no surprises! Highly recommend.

Awesome, awesome, awesome! The only reason I chose this shop to have repair work done on my truck after an accident was because of it's proximity to my mechanic and boy am I glad they're next door. Kyle helped me through the whole process from the walk around to payment. He was responsive, courteous, helpful, communicative, and did exactly what he said he would, when he said he would. Qualities like those are hard to find in a business these days and it was a pleasure working with them. My truck was complete ahead of schedule, everything repaired, replaced, and painted. They even cleaned and vacuumed the interior! The whole truck looks great and I will definitely be recommending them to everyone I know looking for body work.Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Auto detailing

This body shop was recommended by my insurance carrier after an accident so I trusted that information. It took 5 weeks to get my vehicle back - I understand the supply chain issues plaguing the world has some fault here - at least one lady here is very short & rude on the phone, their communication absolutely sucks, they failed to correct $2,000+ in repairs that was fixed elsewhere as I sure wasn't bringing it back to them after discovering the other problems. They forgot to re-attach the engine cover, they missed obvious damage, left the battery connected to a non-running vehicle for over a month which led to the battery requiring replacement. They replaced the engine air filter which was literally brand new & unneeded (I replaced it myself less than a week prior to the accident and it was not damaged in any way) which makes me wonder if other billed parts were unnecessary. I have lodged a formal complaint / request to have them removed from my insurance carrier's recommendations. Truly awful experience on top of the awful experience of the car accident mere weeks after moving to the area. Will never use or recommend them to anyone.

Gorman and Sons was very professional and always answered the phone when I called. My car was in an accident and they dealt with insurance and towing and everything and was quick with an estimate. I am happy with their service.

CHEATING AND FRAUDExtremely bad experience with Gorman from who I got my car back today (4th March 2022). This is business which duped me with their incomplete job performance hiding behind flimsy excuses. I had assigned them the job of painting the rights side of the car for the various scratches and dents accumulated over the years. This also included right side mirror which had some scratches. After their estimate for $1,213 for the full work, today they gave the car with all right side done, leaving out small work of repainting of the right mirror. I believe this was an inadvertent miss on their part. But when I asked the Owner, he pulled out the estimate arguing that this is not listed amongst the various lines in their estimate and hence was not done. This is fraud and poor customer services of its worst kind.Instead of sincere apology, I was met with apathetic belligerence. Nothing could be more insane than arguing that I wanted the whole right side painted, but not the scratched mirror, is display of most extreme unintelligent mindset. Customers tell what to do, and the multiple line estimates are prepared by the shop and what they capture or miss is their problem, nobody else s unless the customer is told that the estimate is excluding something. This is a case of bad workmanship coupled with very poor professionalism.This is the experience when the total job was well over $2,000 with additional $800+ through insurance.I will recommend all to stay away from Gorman and I will also provide my experience to my insurance so that they are careful on who they recommend.

They have a great staff and do quality insurance work. This shop is conveniently located near the airport and they arranged a ride for me to catch my flight. while I was gone the repairs were completed and when I went to pick up my car it was flawless. you could never tell it had ever been wrecked. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I went to Gormans for bodywork and painting. I needed a new bumper and back tailight work. They kept me up to date on the whole process even when a part they ordered was not up to par they sent it back and made me aware. I got my car back and it looks great!!! The paint and body work makes me want to get my whole car painted now! I ll definitely be going to them for all my cosmetic needs on my vehicle.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

We offered anyone the chance to bring your vehicle to our shop to get a free estimate for your repairs in person. Unfortunately quotes given over the phone are not accurate enough to benefit you and the cost to paint a car is not a top secret but each vehicle's repair is different and does require that one on one evaluation. We like to give our customers our full attention when they come by for an estimate. Hope this is helpful to you.

I brought my 2016 Chevy Cruze in yesterday due to someone hitting me while parked and damaging my front bumper. I was told it would be ready by next week but to my surprise it was finished today (the day after) and the work is amazing. You can t even tell where i was hit. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to uave their car repaired. Thanks guys

I could not be more pleased with Gorman & Sons! They exceeded in making my car look brand new after some people throwing rocks over an overpass shattered my windshield and dented and scratched a few other spots. You would never know anything had happened to it! Their customer service is amazing and far superior to any other company I've ever dealt with. Needless to say, extremely impressed!

I had a great experience working with Gorman & Sons. I was working through insurance to get repairs done and was having troubles coordinating with a different repair shop and a rental car service. When I walked in to Gorman & Sons they took care of everything for me and were very nice and professional. I highly recommend using their services.

I am a first time Customer of Gorman and Sons. I actually found the place while getting lost which now I know was meant to be. They were so professional from the time I arrived to the time I picked up my vehicle. They kept me updated on the entire process and explained everything in terms that I understood. I called this shop to get a very, very vague and general estimate for painting a car. They refused to offer even the most general of information such as a very loose and non-binding price quote. I went so far as to notify the person on the phone that I would not hold them to any number stated with the understanding that it would be dependent on many factors. All I wanted was a general number, rule of thumb, for budgeting information. They refused. Great to see that the cost to paint a car now equates to Top Secret level security data at Gorman and Sons. If you want a quote prepare to drive down and waste about 15 - 30 minutes of your time if the quote is wildly off base.Brown's Body Works will give a general estimate and is more than happy to consult with you in general terms over the phone.

I referred a very good friend who had a bad run in with a deer. The vehicle should have been a total loss but Barry and his staff had the vehicle towed from Gloucester and repaired it for him at an affordable price, and in a week!. He had one minor issue and Gorman and Sons stood behind all that they did and repaired a minor rattle at no charge while he waited. My friend was very pleased and will be back in the future.

Gorman & Sons team took very good care of me! My poor jeep was mangled after hitting a deer. They took care of everything, even dealing with the insurance company. My jeep is in better then new condition and the repairs were performed in under the time scheduled. Thank you guys!!

I wish there was an option for zero stars. This place is terrible. I was in an accident and sent it there due to the at fault insurance company's recommendation. That turned out to be a huge mistake.The FIRST time they told me they were "finished" with my car I refused to accept it. The accident caused damage to the driver's side fender and bumper. When they called me to come pick it up, I arrived and looked at the car. They painted the bumper but did not straighten it out. There was still a huge indentation where I had been hit. I brought it to their attention and was told that "This is the best it's going to get without replacing the bumper", and that he was "pretty sure the insurance company (Progressive) was not going to replace it". So I called Progressive and told them that this was unacceptable. They still would not replace the bumper. After another couple of days they called me back again. The bumper was a little better, but still not perfect, as it was before the accident.While the car was there, I decided to have them do some other work that I had been wanting to get done for awhile anyway, so they took out a small ding in the door with their "PDR" (paintless dent repair) method. The work itself was ok, but now I had 2 new scratches in my door that were not there before, which they refused to acknowledge fault on.While all of this is bad enough, the final straw came a couple of days after taking delivery of my car. I ALWAYS leave my fog lights on. In traffic on the way home, I noticed that they were not on so I flipped the switch to engage them at which point ONE of them came on. Of course, no fault admitted.Every now and then, someone comes along and restores a bit of faith in humanity. This shop did the complete opposite of that for me. They didn't care at all about the job and they didn't care that I knew they didn't care. I am still absolutely livid, but there is not much that I can LEGALLY do, so I WILL search out ANY and EVERY outlet that will allow me to attempt to put into words the absolute disgust that they left me feeling so heavily. I sincerely hope that they never get another customer or the chance to screw that said customer over as they did me.

All they were to do on my vehicle was repair the bumper. They had my car for a week and a day. I blatantly noted NOT TO LET DOWN THE DRIVER WINDOW. I can tell they did because fingerprints were ALL OVER THE WINDOW(The same as mine when I m struggling to get it back up). All 4 of my tires were on different pressures (37,31,17,22) I ve never EVER put my tires pass 32. Not to mention my tire gauge was in my side door pocket, but in the driver seat when I picked my car up. To top it off the material was hanging from the inside roof (which was NOT like that AT ALL) and when I called about the issues I was told by Sharon that TIRES FLUCTUATE BECAUSE OF THE WEATHER OR SEASON AND IF I BRING THE CAR BACK ON MONDAY THEY WOULD accommodate the ceiling fixture. Monday is here and the man is singing a different tune. I wouldn t recommend this place if my car parts were falling off as I was driving.

Set an appointment to have a water leak evaluated and quoted. Arrived at appointment only to be immediately told they don't do that. I specifically listed this in my appointment request. I would've appreciated being told that beforehand.
