Fast, fare, and priced reasonably. I normally do all my own work. This trip happened to be a friend's car so I deferred to the experts at Eddie's. To my surprise, they had the problem diagnosed within 2 hours of opening and with a call, I approved the estimate and the repairs were complete by lunch time.Excellent service and quality repairs.

First when I asked about my keys, they didn't know where they were, they never asked for ID so anyone could have taken the car. My battery was dead when I got my car back so they hadnt even checked the car for days. It was there for a safety inspection and they didn't give any explanation of the work that was done or a copy of the bill. The car was dirty from sitting in the lot. They were very unorganized, and the ladies desk at the reception area was completely filthy. I was trying to clean the car and they were already asking me to move it from the lot, not even ten minutes later . Terrible !

Dropped my car off around 2:30 so they could service tomorrow. Two hours later the car was done. Had to make quick calls to get a ride back over before they closed at 5 pm. I won't bring my vehicles to anyone else. Prices are competitive & their mechanics are great. Never had a problem after service or repairs.

I was enroute from Lancaster VA to Wrightsville Beach NC when my Toyota Tacoma broke down in Saluda. I called AAA and was going to have my vehicle towed to a Toyota dealership in Gloucester. My truck would still be there awaiting service if I had not had it towed to Eddie s auto service instead. Upon arrival, they immediately assessed that my vehicle needed a new fuel pump. They were able to order the part overnight and replace it by the next morning. They even provided transportation to the nearby inn in Urbanna!! They were competent, reliable, honest, professional. Amazing experience!!

Great service from the minute I walked in the door. Front desk ladies are very polite and friendly. One of the few places that when you have an appointment for your vehicle the work is done in a timely manner. Great service!!! I will definitely be coming back....

Twice in the last 2 years, a second opinion by Eddie has saved us money. Once $1800 after a safety inspection elsewhere. The other time a near-5-star- rated repair shop told us we needed a new engine for $5,000+. Eddie found the problem and solved it for about $100. We won t go anywhere else.

Have been having them service our 5 vehicles for years. 5 stars for what the techs do for servicing, 0 stars for customer service! Not many places to take vehicles in our town, so this is the reason I keep going here. Every time I call for service I feel as though they are doing me a favor by taking my business. I treat people as they treat me... maybe the ladies behind the counter need to take a "CUSTOMER SERVICE CLASS" as they are horrible in this regard. Good service from the shop, RUDEST ladies at the counter! Stop talking down to YOUR CUSTOMERS. Treat all your customers DECENTLY as if your salary depends on it...BECAUSE IT DOES!!! Hopefully things will change...

Please make sure you check your tires before leaving. My directional tire was put on backwards. Inside on the outside. Maybe just an error but I couldn't trust to take my car back to them to fix it. I gave 1 star because they fit me in when they didn't have to. I'm choosing to take my again flat tire somewhere else and pay again. Loss of $22 vs peace of mind.

Ridiculous service. We dropped the car off for some repairs to get it drivable 3 states North, and they did not inform us that a major fix was due in order to get it to make that drive...until we drove all the way down to get it. After asking them if they could fix that within our very rigid timeline (having a job 3 states away we need to get back to), they said they couldn't and HUNG UP. Worst possible service, especially for such money. No respect for their customers, either.

I took my car for a check engine light. Told me they reset my ecu. Next day my check engine light back on. They charge me twice for nothing. And for you people that give them 4&5 stars you must be special.

First let me say, I am not one of those demanding, hard to please, individuals. That said........We had let them work on our vehicles on a dozen or so times. The work was satisfactory. Their "way" of doing business is lacking. On two occasions they planned on keeping my truck overnight without calling. I had dropped it off the night before, so they had all day. We're talking basic maintenance...oil, tire rotation, change antifreeze,charge A/C. Trying another shop to see if they value their customers more. Too be continued..

Had a muffler problem. Walk in just before closing. Could have said it was too late, but they got me back on the road. Great people. Friendly and helpful Thank You.

All 4 members of our family trust our vehicles to Eddies every year for state inspection and hope that we can continue to do so for many years to come! Business hours are: Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm and Saturdays 8 am to 12 noon. but be sure to make an appointment so you do have to wait.

A couple months ago I brought my car in for noisy/grinding left rear brake. They said it was pads and rotors, so I had them changed. Thought it was fixed. Then it started again! I assumed, my mistake, they would have checked calipers and such. Now caliper is bad as well as pads worn out! No discount for not fixing it right the first time! Will not go back!

Terrible experience at this shop said they put new water pump in only to over heat on my way home. Guy came out & put much needed antifreeze in it. I don't even trust that they put a water pump in sounds as bad as it did.

Towed my car from downtown at ten am and closed at noon, Receptionist said, ' well honey don't know what to tell you, we'll be open on Monday!" After telling her I was from out of town and needed to get home,........... Well honey I drove away with car at 1 pm after walking there, they were glad to take my money after they noticed the car was gone!

I live only a few miles from this shop and i dont use them. Staff is not very friendly and hard to deal with. Overpriced and untrustworthy.
