Owner Operators/Fleet Owners BEWARE!!"We here at Truck Enterprises know the importance of us honoring your scheduled appointment and getting your truck back on the road fast because if you're not turning, you're not earning" - Truck Enterprises Mechanic. If you believe that, I have THREE Bridges to Terabithia for sale(Toll Booths Optional).Scheduled an appointment for repairs two weeks prior for February 16th at 7:30am. Dropped the truck off Thursday February 15th. The truck was not pulled into the shop until Monday February 19th while we were waiting there to speak with the Service Manager in person about why this truck is not being worked on.While waiting there Monday to speak with the Service Manager, a Driver/Owner Operator walked in, spoke to the Counter Clerk(The Man- you know the name), about his truck and was taken in IMMEDIATELY. Guess he was a Good Ol' Buddy. Finally got to speak with the Service Manager and he gives the generic: "Oh, I am so sorry", "This is not acceptable", "We are going to be on top of this". LOL. Yeah I was born 34 hours ago on my reset.Called the Service Department Wednesday February 21st to check on the status of the truck and was told to call back Thursday February 22nd around 9:30am. February 22nd rolls around and I receive a email at 9:00am telling me that they ordered the wrong part and the truck should be ready Friday February 23rd... Around 5:00pm. Good luck getting a load on a Friday around 5pm!!The parts came in around 11am. They didn't start working on it until around 5:30pm. I received a call at 7:00pm letting me know that the truck was ready, and that they also charged me for an hour labor to check out something that I clearly said to NOT do if it was NOT covered under the Warranty. This was told to the Woman(you know the name) on the phone and the Man in person. In case you are wondering what repairs were done, they were replacing an Exhaust Bellow and an EGR Valve. That was it. This has been the 2nd time that this truck has been to this shop(for different repairs)and each time this truck was held for over a week. First repair- paid cash, Second repair- Covered by Warranty. To anyone who is considering getting your truck or Fleet serviced here. Think Again! You would be better off just getting parts here. The Parts Department is fantastic. To save time and money, just get the parts and at all cost AVOID THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT. Your truck will sit there for a good while. You will hear every excuse in the book and new ones. You will be overcharged; $1900 or better seems to be their magic quota number! They will tell you that they want to get you back on the road fast. They will look at you with a smile on their face and lie to you. Do not believe all of their 5 Stars. Bots and/or Buddies.Parts Department: 5 Stars THEY ARE GREAT! Especially TonyService Department: Use the Deep-sea Challenger with James Cameron's help to raise your stars, morality, and ethics.

What a joke this place. Replaced wheel seal 20k miles ago. Leaking again! Rip off and super low quality work. They charge Rolls Royce quality price and does Kia kind of quality. Stay away if you can.

A bunch of crooks. I asked sevice how much would it cost to install Onspot automatic chains on my peterbilt. They told my 10k for both axles. Wait what, you guys charge $2500 per hour? Google says the approximate pricing for vehicles with air brakes is $1945 per drive axle for the kit plus freight and installation. A bunch of crooks. I'm gonna make sure I tell all my trucker friends to never mess with these guys. CROOKS!!

If you have to be broke down this is one of the nicest places to have it happen. They have a washer and dryer so you can do laundry. They have showers you can use. The lounge is clean and comfortable. I was in and repaired in the same day.

We were traveling in our RV to Florida. Our rear wheel seal went bad and we were desperate to find a place to fix our RV. Finally after many phone calls, Truck Enterprise told us to come and they would be happy to take a look at our RV problem. They are ordering the parts and we should be on our way sometime tomorrow. We can't thank you enough to the superior customer service. You made our travel problem a little less stressful. Thank you.

Great Parts department, helped me out in a jam 2 weeks in a row. Had what I needed and gave me a fair price to keep my shop rolling. Air Brake Fittings on my Compressor and a special Hub Socket for Front Wheel Bearings.

I had to bring my rig in for electrical work. I was short on hours and needed to hurry to make it home. As a trucker home time is very important. They got me in and out in a flash! As a heads up, this place has clean private shower/bathroom facilities for free. Laundry facilities on site as well.

We were passing through Lynchburg when I noticed the rear passenger wheel seal on my class A Thor 36 ft hurricane was leaking axle grease. I contacted Truck Enterprises and the service manager told me they would look at my RV and there was a good possibility they would have it repaired by that evening. Unfortunately, they had to order the part. The part was in early the next morning and we were on the road by 1:30 p.m. The total bill was approximately $61 lower than the original quote and when I asked why I was told it was because they were unable to get me back on the road the evening before. The fact that they couldn't get me back on the road the evening before was no fault of theirs. That was a great customer service gesture and I highly recommend truck enterprises to anyone with a mechanical problem when passing through Lynchburg VA

As a practice, I do not air laundry in public however, I have reached a point with TE that I feel a need to state some facts. A few weeks ago I had my Volvo in for repair and all batteries were replaced as needed. When I picked up the truck the APU was totally inoperable and they were not able to get it online, the control panel would not even light up. I know it worked when I took it in as it was running after I parked the truck. After contacting Thermo King I was told that the wires may have been left off since batteries were replaced . I was in Arkansas waiting for a load and removed the side covers only to learn that battery clamps holding my new batteries in weren't even attached and just laying in with the batteries. Upon speaking with management I was told that this would be fixed and I hope it will. My Volvo required additional repairs as it needed a EGR Cooler as well as injectors which both are warranty items. As of today my truck has been at TE for 3 working days and learned this morning that they will have it one more day. I was told that the EGR cooler job was a 6 hour job so that being said I would like to state some facts. On Friday April 22, TE was contacted and the EGR and Injector repair was approved by the company I contract with. Fact 2 is I called TE on Monday April 25th and advised them that I could have the truck in on Friday April 29 th and ask if I could get the truck back on Saturday 30th. I was then told that the truck had to be cool in order to do the injector job and that their Volvo Tech does not work on Sat. so am to understand that a VOLVO dealer only has one Volvo tech??? In order to ensure that TE had a cool truck I changed my work schedule and was able to get the truck in on Thursday night April 28th which gave them a cooled down truck on Friday 29th. On Friday the 29th at mid day I returned to TE to retrieve my laundry and work had not yet started. Today Monday May 2nd I am told that it will be Tuesday night May 3rd before this truck will be ready. I called in and expressed concern for the lengthy repair and was told that they "understood" so here is another fact, they do not understand because they are not making the payment on a truck that has been setting for 4 days. That being said, I would like to express to TE the value of UNDERSTANDING, because if they did understand, they would know that an owner operator is a one man operation trying to grow his business and buy more trucks all of which would grow their business, so I would like for them to answer this question . Should I help them grow their business, and have they earned it?

My experience with TEI Lynchburg has lasted for years. Never had a bad experience with anyone. From routine maintenance to truck sales, they always exceeded my expectations. For me, they made it easier to do what we do for a living.
