Went to Larry s because they sold the type of tire I needed. First I asked if they could fix the tire. A bolt was in the outer tread near the edge. I didn t think they could based on what Toyota said and what I read. Larry s technician confirmed the tire needed to be replaced.Since I thought this might be the outcome I asked Larry s for a price. Their price was better than a discount place I had priced that was out of town.Larry s work was great. They remounted the tire and put the spare back under the car. When we need four new tires, Larry s will most likely get our business.

I've been a regular customer for a couple of years, and they are efficient, honest, have a great team of employees, and I have zero complaints. I've bought a full set of tires, and when they changed my oil last time, they reminded me about free rotations. Great customer service!

Their service is great. Thanks to Ken for appointment and service. I wouldn t say they are cheapest, but definitely has fair price and honest. I ve been going to Jiffy Lube for last two years but I think I ll stay here from now on. They have great service, good waiting area and mechanics looks more reliable compared to other 5-minute-oil-change shops. I initially went for state inspection but rejected due to suspension issue, and they handled professionally with fair price. Definitely revisiting for oil change and maybe bigger repair if something happens. 10/10 recommended.

Larry's is the only place I will take my vehicles and where I know I'll receive an honest opinion and will receive the best customer service in the industry! It all started when my car started acting up on the way to my typical shop. The car broke down at the bank in front on Larry's. I walked up to the shop, never being a customer and they immediately stopped what they were doing to get several guys to push it up to the shop and identify the alternator as the problem. They are very communicative and strive to meet the needs of the customer!! Kate has an amazing knack for explaining issues and providing estimates for potential resolutions! She goes the extra mile to ensure you understand and make an informed decision. She follows up via text if you miss her call and ensures customer satisfaction. Justin is also customer service driven with a knowledge base of repairs and suggestions that make you comfortable with knowing what the next steps are. He will make accommodations with scheduling and repairs. He also goes the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction! I refer all family and friends to this location and suggest you call for your appointment today!! They may be busy, but they work tirelessly to ensure your satisfaction!

Great experience with Kate at Larry's Tire & Auto Repair on Murray Place. My vehicle was towed after hours to their shop. Kate contacted me immediately the next morning to determine the issue, and maintained regular communication regarding my car's progress. Took my car to Larry's to get a wheel alignment. Upon arrival the tech Chris Hargis started on my vehicle promptly.He was very professional and informative of what was going on with my alignment and assured me he could get it all straightened out.After leaving my steering wheel was straight and my car drove straight as an arrow. Five stars for great service and customer service.

I can t say enough about Larry s tire in forest .on Saturday July 16th we hitched our travel trailer to head to Knoxville, TN to be with family after the loss of my husband s mother. We get to the gas tanks just past Bedford and have not 1 but 2 trailer tires on our trailer blow out .ugghhh a call to our daughter in love and we have the manager bring us 2 new tires and installs them for us in the rain! We will definitely use Larry s agin for our tire needs! They went above and beyond to get us back on the road and on our way to Tennessee. Thank you again for the service with a smile!!! Larry s saved the day!! Could not be more thankful. While driving from PA to GA, we started having major problems with our brakes. Larry s got us right in, fixed up, and back on the road in no time. Everyone there was kind and helpful and there was a nice waiting area for us to relax in (with our dog too!)

Would give them zero stars if I could! I wouldn't recommend taking you're car here if you need an inspection done. Went in thinking I was gunna be in and out. To have them turn around and tell me that I needed new Wiper Blades or they would put a rejection sticker on my car if I chose not to. I just bought this car a couple weeks ago and it went through an ispection along with all checks on everything from top to bottom. Pretty much a brand new car. Looks like you're typical auto shop when they can't find nothing wrong with you're car they will pull the bullcrap wiper blade excuse. Dishonest people stay far away and choose a better place to go to. I won't be back!

I am very pleased with this bunch of folks!!!! It is near the play it again sports place on RT 221I have decided to let someone else work on my stuff instead of me doing my own work...I am very particular about who and what is done on my vehicles... Saying this, I have had the chance to speek to several of there mechanics..... they are hard working, will tell you what is best for the vehicle!!!The folks up front are second to none!!!!! Very polite and responsive!As a long time mechanic myself, I decided to let Larry's people do it for me..... and I an very pleased!!!!I'm sure the other locations are great also..... but the location on 221 has a great atmosphere and great people that want to help.....Larry you're rt. 221 location is thestaple of the community!!!!!I have more work planned on my 2017 challenger scatpack..... Claudia, Ken, and Tom at Larry's on Woodberry Square have taken care of my two cars for over a year. They have always been honest with me, charging me fair prices, and never pressuring me. Tom recently found a broken bushing on my front wheel assembly. If he had not discovered it I probably would have had a major breakdown on my upcoming trip to Florida. Took my Dodge truck here for a front end alignment after having brand new tires installed elsewhere the day before. Truck had 58,000 miles. I just had the truck looked over by another mechanic about 1,500 miles before this. About an hour after I dropped the truck off, I got a call stating they were not going to do the alignment due to both of my lower ball joints being bad and both of my control arms being bad, and the left side ball joint was making a noise. They quoted me a $1,400 bill to replace ball joints and control arms that were like new.I took truck somewhere else for an alignment a few hours later and the shop aligned my truck without issues and when I asked them how my ball joints and control arms looked, he said they looked brand new and did not need replacing. I watched the guy at this shop jack the truck up one side at a time and forcefully try to get slack out of my ball joints but just could not do it, because my ball joints are like new and do not need replacing.Service: Steering & suspension repair

My daughter was 3 days away from leaving Liberty University for winter break and trashed the front end suspension of her VW jetta, hitting a raised granite curb. The car was towed away from the accident scene and eventually brought to Larry's after we did some research. My daughter came home to MA and flew back down to get the vehicle in January. Tabatha(from Larry's) worked closely with us - listening to and addressing every concern we had. She was clear and concise about every detail which made the insurance claim process all the more easier. The car was ready and triple checked to ensure a safe drive back from VA to MA and all the work was properly items and communicated. GREAT experience!Service: Steering & suspension repair

Been dealing with these folks for years. The last few times they have been making a lot of small mistakes. Made the first part of this review 2yrs ago. So I (9/7/2023) called to get some information about tires and some advice and I must say the gentleman was professionally rude I set the appointment up but will not be showing up I'd rather pay a higher price and be respected than deal with people that don't care.

The day before vacation we ran into an unexpected and troublesome tire. Tabitha was able to fit us in that same day! The problem was found and the tire was replaced, all while we waited! Larry s will be our go to for all our mechanical needs!Service: TiresService: Tires

I called Larry s and spoke with Tabatha. She answered all my questions and was able to get my vehicle looked at same day! Tom was the mechanic that looked at it and was able to spot the problems that my previous mechanic looked over. I feel much safer in my vehicle now knowing I am moving forward with their services!! Never again. They ll squeeze you for every penny you have without even understanding what it is you actually need. No reason they should be pricing a young girl for $800 worth of tires and pressing me to get those tires done there and then just because they feel like they can take advantage of you. I ve heard so many stories just like mine. They ll hit you with an outrageous bill and convince you that you have no other options. Went somewhere else and they immediately priced me for half the price after taking the time to understand that I don t drive my car a lot, and I don t need top of the line tires. Also, didn t even need 4 tires just the front two. If you go in you better know exactly what it is you need and a rough estimate of how much the service should cost.Service: Tires

I stopped in last weekend for a state inspection and to fix my AC. The customer service is amazing and they had my truck done far faster than I had expected. Going back this weekend to take my wife's car. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer. Also, one of the few shops open on Saturday. This is highly important for us who work M-F. Thanks!

I've been a customer of Larry even before he started the actual Larry's Tire & Auto. He (and the staff) are very hard working, honest, extremely thorough at what they do, friendly, and fair (price & stands behind the work performed and quality of parts). Today is the first time I've been in with my new-ish Jeep. I went in to get the oil changed and the tires rotated and balanced. Within 5 minutes they discovered I was missing a lug bolt. Needless to say they got me all taken care of in no time. Claudia and Kevin were super nice . I was reminded of how much fun Hawaii was! Keep up the great work!

One evening, as I was driving, my car started making a horrible knocking sound and shaking at the same time. Not wanting to drive anymore, I dropped my car off at Larry s Tire and Auto Service.As I waited for my husband to pick me up, one of the employees approached me to see if he could help. Mind you, it was 7:30 pm, way after Larry s closed. He listened, showed me the drop box and assured me he could look at it the next day. It meant a lot to me that he took the time to help. Come to find out, he was the manager.The next day the good service continued. Larry s was prompt with getting back to me and had me right back on the road after work.The kind and outstanding service guarantees I will be back!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Larry's Tire & Auto Repair has always been the place that I take my car for the past 3 years! As a local student away from home and a girl who doesn t know that much about cars, I know that I can trust them when it comes to anything involving a repair or maintenance issue for my car. I ve recommended them to all my friends and cannot recommended them enough !!On a Wednesday, one of my tires stopped holding air and I called that night to make an appointment hoping they could get me in by Friday because I had weekend plans I had to travel for. They got me in at noon on Thursday and found the issue, patched my tire and did it free of charge since I was a return customer. The staff are so incredibly nice and the waiting area is very clean and comfortable. My appointment took an hour, which on short notice is totally acceptable, and I was very comfortable with wifi and a couch to continue doing work remotely while I waited. As long as I m in Lynchburg, I will always be going to Larry s !Service: Tires

Very pleased with the service I received! I had my tire blow out the day before thanksgiving so Friday I was looking for a tire that matched mine and they had 1 left. Gave me a very good deal and due to the spare going out they got the knew tire ready to pop on and allowed me to come back and balance it and make sure everything was good. Waiting right for them to balance which has taken longer than expected but they have a very clean nice waiting area with coffee popcorn tv and comfy seating. Definitely would consider using them if my mechanic can t get to a problem in a timely fashion!!!! Excellent!!!!

My wife brings her cars to Larry s every time and is always satisfied rather it s oil changes and tire rotations to tire and brake replacement. Larry s is quick, efficient, friendly, and cost effective!

Nice people and easy to deal with. They don't beat around the bush and they almost always, somehow, find time to squeeze me in last second. Definitely recommend these guys for all your automotive needs. They even fit me in for a state inspection on my motorcycle. Nice to know they can inspect motorcycles as well. A+

Another great service experience at Larry's. Called the day before after finding cords showing on my front tire. Inquired about having the 2 front tires replaced. Got an accurate quote and was able to schedule for the very next day for installation. In under an hour and a half had new tires and an alignment. I'll continue to go here!
