Called and made appointment for them to do 3 things to my SUV. Then I did one of the things myself before dropping it off. I told the lady at the desk to remove 1 of the 3 things from the work order and she said okay. She forgot to remove the things I asked them not to do (it was a fan belt), and so they mistakenly replaced a fan belt that I had just done myself. It was busy, and they simply forgot to remove it from the work order. Things like this can and will happen. What I was most impressed with was when I mentioned the invoice showed one item that I asked not to be done, she said you are right, its my fault and performed a refund for the one thing that they did that I asked them not to do. I ended up with a replaced fan belt that I didn't need (because I had just replaced it), but they owned the mistake and said "it was my fault" which is something lots of people these days seem to have a problem doing. I definitely will be doing more business and becoming a repeat customer at Forest Brook Automotive. I feel that these are trustworthy people if they will own and admit to a mistake. Things will and do happen and it's what someone does about it that counts. They earned my trust. And, after getting my SUV home I could not find anything out of place. They replaced valve cover gaskets and everything was tight, all hoses back like they should be. Happy customer.

I'm new to the area and they are now my mechanics! I needed to get an inspection sticker and they did the inspection in a fast and friendly way. They are family owned and lovely to work with.

The woman at the front desk was kind and helpful however you can not trust their mechanics. The mechanic who worked on my vehicle told me himself he did not take the time to diagnose the issue with my van. He instead had me spend 700$ and wait two weeks to replace a part that wasn t even the issue. I was able to later diagnose the issue myself and fix it for 30$. I would not recommend taking your vehicle here unless you know what you want to fix specifically.

They are the most personable, kind, competent people I ve met. They figured really went above and beyond to get my car to have a.c again. I was looking at a couple grand to fix it but they really went out of their way to help me to prevent that high cost. The front desk woman explained everything to me, she even showed me the old part and what actually happened. My experience was just phenomenal and I have my a.c back !!!! I was recommended by a friend this shop and wanted to support a local business. My engine light came on they got me in right away to get a diagnosis, drove my jeep to the shop no problems. They run a normal diagnostic test that day then told me the test came back inconclusive so it would cost around $300 for them to dig deeper. The next day they called and said camshaft lobe wrecked my engine and I ll need a new engine, quoted for 8k and they can order the parts and it would be here in 3-4 days. Completely shocked because my jeep is under 100k and it drove to shop fine, not indicating that I needed a new engine. I told the lady I need to think about it and the secretary said yeah call your parents , I then said unfortunately that s not an option and she said well you sound young . (With a deceased father and single parent mother that was a very inappropriate thing for her to say). I made an appointment at the jeep dealership for a second opinion and went back to pay them and get my jeep back and the lady told me to sell my jeep and cut my loses and once again I told her that s not an option. Long story short jeep dealership fixed the camshaft and rockers for $1700 and it was minimally worn part and it was fixed the next day. I ve driven it for 3 weeks and even went 4 hours away making sure that everything was okay which it is running great. Very disappointed in their professionalism and overall decision. Hopefully this was a fluke but I wont be returning.

This is a great garage with knowledge staff who do a great job on your car. The staff here know there customers and do their best to get the job done right at a reasonable cost. This is why all the local folk take their cars here to be repaired. I heartily recommend it!

A shop not afraid of work that doesn't start with a computer telling them what to replace. Willing to do work on older vehicles when other shops refused because it was "too hard". Great work and super fast.

I took both of my vehicles for state inspection and oil change. Very friendly and professional. Prices were reasonable and Nancy was very nice. I ll definitely be back.

We have been using Forestbrook for about 2 years. My son purchased a BMW from a small dealer and it has had several issues. Forestbrook has always gone above and beyond to help diagnose the issue and repair the vehicle in a cost effective way. The family of owners is simply amazing. Good people doing honest work for honest pay. We were in a bind after driving over 9 hours with some brake issues and the owners took care of the issue quickly and honestly. I recently meet someone at a Liberty sporting event that mentioned the great service that Forest Brook Automotive gives to their customers. We decided to give them a try with our gas powered company vehicles. We are NOT sorry!!!! This company is completely honest and has very fair pricing. Nancy was absolutely awesome. She didn t put me on a two week wait list when my check engine light came on and the car was running hot. She was very informative, explained what was going on with the car and stuck to her original quote, which is an extreme rarity. It was not a cheap fix, but it was a fair price for the amount of work that they had to do. I will use them again!!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Check engine light. Turned out to be catalytic converter. Not surprised. Expensive fix anywhere. Staff replaced same day. Most friendly honest folks I've ever dealt with. Definitely my go to mechanic. Recommend

I left my car as a drop off to be diagnosed for air conditioning issues. They called me very promptly with what was wrong and how much to replace. They got me taken care of in the same day not even an hour and half later. Wonderful customer service, fast service, and very friendly environment! I ve moved my routine maintenance to Forestbrook Automotive, and I have no doubt that I made the right choice. I entered their shop a stranger needing an oil change and left feeling like a friend. They were upfront with pricing, quick with the service, and were all very friendly from the service manager to the mechanics. They re my new go-to!

Overheating. They tried minor solutions to fix, found that it is headgasket. Since I have a warranty, Had me take it to a dealer and didn't charge me for the extra work, only a thermostat. Do the right thing seems to be their motto and it shows. Will use them when needed again. Highly recommend. Got a price estimate quickly and Rusty waived the inspection fee because they weren't very busy. Once my vehicle was dropped off, it was done for a fair price within about an hour. It's running great now!

This is the best place in town to get work done on your car. I've had oil changes and state inspections here. They are always polite and helpful, and incredibly quick compared to most places! Love them, and definitely recommend them!

This place is the best! I have put tires on two vehicles, with a price and quality of service so good, I had them replace all four on both vehicles. Each time the service was quick and friendly. These guys go above and beyond the call of duty, to the point of helping out with an issue they could have charged me for, but rather gave me a helping hand and asking nothing in return. I need to replace 4 tires on my Jeep Wrangler, and will, without a doubt, give these guys first chance at my business. Thank you for restoring my confidence in REAL customer service. Keep up the good work.

integrityForest brook Automotive stood behind their work. The dreaded engine light came on in my VW CC. Would rather go to a local small business than a dealer anytime. Part of the list of repairs needed were coil packs, 4 total, one for each cylinder. About a month and a half after the repairs were completed the engine light came back on. They took me in the next day and found a defective coil pack. Replaced and off I went. about 2 months later the same thing happened. This time they replaced all 4 coil packs with a better quality part at no cost to me. This is what separates corporate greed from small business independence. Dont go here unless you want to pay an extra 1000 dollars to fix what they didnt do in the first place, chrged us 1700 called us said it was finished the guy said hopefully the engine will "seed itself" idk what that means ive never in my life heard of an engine fixing itself but ok, wlended up bringing it back and had to pay an additional 1000 dollars....0/10 do not recommend!

Went in for an inspection, left with more damage than when I came in. Awful experience and will never go back again. Was told I needed a laundry list of repairs to pass inspection, totaling over $1000.00. I knew my car had a few issues, nothing close to that amount. The only reason I stopped in was because my usual shop had run out of inspection stickers.Long story short, the only repair I needed was a new muffler, the damage they caused during inspection. My tailpipe was pushed up under my rear bumper causing it to burn and melt. I took it back to them the next day, and they denied it....said it was like that when it came in. Wouldn't even come outside to look ! Beyond done with them, lesson learned. Have heard nothing but bad things since from others I've talked to.Thankfully my regular shop got stickers in, and after fixing said muffler, I have my sticker.....saved over $800. Thank goodness for my honest mechanic.

Women beware!!!!! I referred a friend to this garage to have a steering rack installed on her SUV. Estimate with parts was over $1,200.00 including labor. Said if she purchased the parts labor would be right at $500.00. After the parts were delivered she received a call stating they forgot to include outer tie rods $75.00. Nancy apologized for the mistake but refused to lower the price or sell this part at cost. However when the bill was paid over the phone the bill was $735.00. When the vehicle was picked up the bill reflected a charge of $823.00. The shop charged $127.00 in shop supplies which included $49.99 for Wynn's power steering fluid which cost $9.99 off the shelf and $30.00 for power steering service. Not sure what they did with the remaining $40 for that fluid. Use this shop at your own risk but be prepared to suffer the consequences!

Good quality work. But terrible customer service. I went there with an appointment of my car being test drived just to check if it had a problem with the brakes. However, I waited an hour after I placed my key on the desk and nobody did anything with my car for an hour. And I asked them why am I not getting any service to my car even after an hour because I came there with an appointment... and a manger told me that since I didn't get charged on anything, that's why I had to wait on everything that was for paying customers. Well I made an appointment in first place, that's what the appointment is for no matter you are paying or not. They do not deserve any customers with that attitude. Don't ever go there if you wanna be treated fairly as a customer.

Forestbook automotive has very very bad customer service I went there with 2 tires they put one on and then in the process of getting 1 ready to put on they showed me that it had a slit in the tire they then charge me to put that tire on even though it was never put on my car and I don't know that they're not the reason why the tire had the slit in it very poor customer service the tire never went on my car I do not believe I should have been made to pay for that I wouldn't suggest anyone go to this shop.As you can see from the owner's responses and the ALL CAPS , POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Dont waste your time and money here !
