We have been to this shop twice in the last couple of months. The first time my semi was leaking coolant. Their team stayed late and worked quickly to get the radiator replaced and the truck back on the road. The second time we had some headlight and wiring issues. I knew the truck would be in that area so I gave Regie a call. It was getting late but his response was, send him through! We are grateful for Regie and his team and we now have a new go-to when the trucks are in this area and need something done.

was on the way from vacation and we got a flat tire with no other way of getting home, other than buying a new tire or getting a patch, and they patched our tire in short time so we could continue driving the next 4 hours. they came over and did it as quick as they could as busy as they were. honestly a great experience, very thankful we went to Big Truck Tire Repair before anyone else.

They also post used parts on Facebook as a junk yard for semi's, Came to pick up an old APU, could not get any good information over the phone, so I drove over there, agreed on the price over the phone because he wasnt there. Mechanic loaded it on my pick up,(nice guy by the way) and we couldn't find the controller. Used controller is about $300 on eBay. He called the boss, (Regie Schofield) the guy pulled up, and the first thing he said, was " pay me my money I gotta go" I said we can't find a controller, thought he would help look for it, he said you ether pay me or I will charge you for loading and off loading it. Acted very cocky, and rude, dropped $50 off after a little argument.I was happy I found this place at first, they got bunch of cascadias for part and I'm only 40 minutes away, but after this experience, I'll get my parts elsewhere.

I stopped in for a tire change and my rim was slightly bent. They went to work right away and within 30 minutes everything was done. Awesome job guys now I can get back on the road and finish my job on time. Great people and treat you like family. To all my 18 wheeler buddies stop by and check them out. You ll be glad you did. Fantastic experience and efficient support with our blown tire in route to NYC. We called for help from the highway, after business hours, and was met for tire support within 15 minutes of our call. Ask the price before any work is to be started - you have been warned!!! I pulled over during the day to mount the tire on my spare. I did not ask the price before hand - and 20 minutes later I was charged $130 and I had to pay in cash Very shady place!Service: TiresService: Tires

I can't speak to any repair regarding big trucks and such. But I caught a nail in my tire on my way home and was losing air fast. I was panicking and needed a patch. They were an absolute godsend. They patched up my tire and sent me on my way. I could not be more grateful for them and what they did for me.Service: TiresService: Tires

Called and said someone was coming, an hour passed and called again. Said the mechanic had just gotten home, was gonna eat and then come to me. Another hour passed the mechanic called and said he was just finishing installing an air bag then I'd be next. Another hour passed and finally arrived. Took another 40 to change tire didn't have big equipment to do it fast. Got charged $350 to change a tire after hours with me having my own spare and them taking a long time.

Sorry service!!!! They lie and they try and intimidate you into paying 200% more than you should! They will tell you they will tow your car if you don t pay! Just call the police department and they will change their attitude!! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE!!! I would give a 0 if I could. I didn t even let them fix my car!!Service: Tires

I got a flat tire driving on the highway and pulled over to this mechanic by chance. Without hesitation they helped me find the hole in my tire, get my spare tire on, and find a different mechanic nearby with the right tire in stock. Glad I found these guys.

Reggie and Sam went above and beyond to help me and my family get back on the road after a flat tire. They came up with a creative solution address the situation we facing, greatly reducing the amount of time we would have normally had to wait to get back to our long road trip.

We had a trailer tire blow out and we were close by here. We pulled in here and they were so fast to help us out. We had a spare and the guys let us use a jack and helped us change it. Super nice and friendly. Great sense of humor. Keep up the great work guys

Big Truck & Tire Repair was a literal God-send. When we were trapped on a highway in Virginia at 7:00 P.M., they were the only ones who would return our calls and give us service over the weekend. We got our flat tire done quickly and efficiently. Thank you, Mike, for your efficiency. And thank Big Truck & Tire.. if it wasn't for you, we probably would still be sitting there 2 months later!

i would gave them less then 1*...obviously scammers. we called to chain up an axle. they did chain up and we were waiting for them to call for payment we agreed but instead they drove trailer to their yard and now keep it hostage unless we pay $5k saying that is illegal to drive and they won`t let us take it. We have to involve police to get it out. We will definitely have our attorney filling a lawsuit against them and we will sue them for all damages produced to company and for keeping trailer hostage with freight in it.If you guys want to join the lawsuit let me know and I`ll file Class Action lawsuit in federal court against this scumbags.

We did not call. Someone not authorized called. We already had our own mechanic and tow on the way. They said they had screen shots which they would not send the owner. Voice recording that they would not release. They threaten to tow our truck if we did not pay them. We are in another state and could not get there or I would have called the police. They are some kind of scam artist in my opinion. We paid because of the threats. We did not want our driver or the load to be compromised. Be wary of these people.

Called and said they weren't busy, could do an OTR tire repair. Sent him all the info via text as requested, asked for a quote and ETA. Did not get a response back. The service tech called my driver to tell him he was having a bad day because he wasn't drunk. Had my driver pull out of the Petro parking lot (understandable, competition and all) to another facility, partially repaired the tire, then made him move to an unlit field to complete the repair. When it was done my driver asked what next and he was told to go back to Petro because they were trespassing and needed to "GTFO" of there. At Petro he told my driver if the police show up he needed to tell him he was a friend doing him a favor and it wasn't business related. The repair cost wasn't super unreasonable, showed up quickly enough, didn't provide updates or ETA. Not happy the service was performed prior to authorization and issuing a quote, but the entire ordeal was completely unprofessional and could have caused a lot of problems.Service: Tires

Very poor service to say at the least. I strongly recommend not ever going to this place with your truck. I had to call the number listed because no one was at the shop. When he arrived he wasn t dressed for work which is why he refused to do any mechanical work that day. The next day he skipped me and worked on someone else s truck as I waited when I was next. Then both mechanics just left without saying anything. Rarely would I write a bad review because I have a lot of patience.

Had flat tire and had hard time finding a tire. Owner looked Friday and Saturday. My daughter got one from dealer and brought it to meOwner opened up on Sunday and put on rim so I could finish my tripVery helpful opened up on days off

Needed night time road service for a tire. At first they said they definitely had my size tire, and would be there in one hour. After 3 hours of waiting, and calling them and waking them up several times, they said they did not have the tire and couldn't get it till 8:00.

We had a quote for $600 to tow a semi. I then asked if their shop was a 24 hour shop. They said it wasn't but could call a mechanic in for $200-$300 to fix our semi that night. This was around 8:00 PM so we accepted the tow and told them to repair the semi. They told us they had all the parts in stock necessary to fix a 60 series Detroit. When they showed up and towed our driver the tow truck operator said mechanic should be there anytime. He NEVER SHOWED AND NEVER CALLED. The next morning we wanted our semi released so the Petro could fix. We explained to them what had happened and they chuckled like this is a very common occurrence. The tow truck operator hung up on our driver and myself raising the price to $750 and claiming we were getting a "discount" because they were going to repair the truck. VERY VERY VERY Unprofessional Company and wouldn't recommend anyone to use this towing company. After reading the other reviews and google information I guess it was my mistake for calling in the first place.

This is the second review I have written. The first was not published. I read on another sight where they are crooks. I agree fully. I have been trying since March 12, 2015 to get a breakdown of the parts they put on our truck. They never even gave our driver an invoice when he gave them $3,450 in cash that I had to go to Walmart at 9pm to get a Money Gram (they would not take any type of credit card or check). Now I know why...... After numerous calls, they sent me a Work Order, but did not have the $1,975 in parts broke down that they put on the truck. I still have no idea what parts they put on our truck. I have been trying for over a month with no results....... Stay away from these people.

Mechanic did good job then at the last minute made discounts and deals that he didn't follow through on. I ended up paying bill in full so my credit wouldn't be messed up... Highly unprofessional.
