The service is unparalleled and the work quality is great too. They are proud of their work and it shows.Edit: After a long delay, I am back to post about changing out the head unit and putting in a rear view camera. The experience was (again) fantastic. I dropped off my car when I was heading out on a business trip, the price was fair, and the work was great.They installed a key fob receiver, connected it to a fob (previously I had to only use the key to lock/unlock the car) and now my car can lock/unlock and even pop the trunk! It's such a night and day difference from when I had to go up to the drivers door and use the key.They also installed the head unit, which has made long roadtrips, and even listening to music a much better experience. The rear camera also helps a lot because this is the longest car I've ever owned.Again, great work, reasonable price.~~~~~~~~~~I love music, I love music with a lot of bass, operatic solos, pop, jazz, metal, alternative and country, so any audio system in any car I drive has to be exceptional. I brought my car in after purchasing an under-seat subwoofer (pictured) to be installed, because with the hybrid system being different I wasn't sure I could do it.They took exceptional care of me, the price was fair, and any further work was discussed prior to doing it (when I had installed the speakers previously, I had not properly re-attached the doors, because it required a tool I did not have). They are honest and fair people to work with.Even though the installation was perfect, the hybrid system, when switching back and forth from EV/engine power, caused the subwoofer to give off deafening levels of distortion, and let out a nausea inducing steady hum even when turned down completely.Eddie has been a godsend working through this, and there is a reason they are so positively reviewed, their service is absolutely unparalleled. You are not just part of a checklist, they take pride in their work, and want you to be happy with what you receive.I highly recommend them to anyone looking to work on their audio, they are knowledgeable, fair, and do great work. I will definitely be back to replace the cassette-using head unit in my other car in the near future (also pictured) and update my review at that time.

Great customer service. Frank gave me a competitive price on my dash cam installation. He also not only took the time to explain beforehand the installation process, but also agreed to post-installation adjustments based on my preference. Will definitely go back for additional work on my other vehicles.

This is actually a review for tires, since they also sell used tires. Frank and Alex were great and I found the exact tire I needed. It was $75 including mount and balancing. They also take and recycle your used tire that you replaced without an additional charge. Frank and Alex are very honest, and will even tell you if the tire is good enough to pass inspection, etc. Recommend this place!

I bought a pair of speakers from Best Buy and other components from Amazon hoping to install everything myself. It was too much for me to do alone so I called Frank and he gave me a quote over the phone - 180$ for labor since I'd bought the parts myself. When I came in two days later, they were able to install the speakers on the spot in about thirty minutes - way faster than I was expecting.Frank remembered the quote he'd given me over the phone two days before, which impressed me. There was no messing around with upselling or upcharging or other sales tactics - he did exactly what I asked for very promptly. I'd definitely come back again.

I just bought an older car, and I wanted to upgrade the system to allow for CarPlay and a better back-up camera. I found that Car Stereo Systems was a ten minute drive from me, so I walked into their shop. I had no idea what I wanted, or even what was available to me. I explained to Frank what I was trying to do, and he was absolutely fantastic! He walked me through the process. He asked me a list of features, and asked if I wanted them or not (Steering wheel controls, disc player, speaker upgrades, etc), then he presented all of my options. He gave me the basic option, all the way to the high end stuff, BUT he was straight up about the pros and cons of each, he didn't try to sell me the most expensive items. No pressure at all, he answered all of my questions, and was very pleasant. I went with a Pioneer head unit, and a new back up camera that is crystal clear.They did a great job on the install, he checked with me on a couple of things that they needed to work around to make it look great and made sure I was ok with it before doing anything.At the end, he told me to contact him if anything ever goes wrong with the unit. They stand behind their work. I respect that.Considering the workmanship, the expertise, and the level of care, the prices were very reasonable. They saved me the time and hassle of trying to figure out how to install it myself, and made it look as if it came from the factory that way. I would have spent hours, and made it look sloppyI've never worked with any other car stereo shop in the area, but now, I don't need to. I'll go see Frank and his guys every time.

I went here to inquire about car stereo and back up camera for my old car, they quoted me $1800 for their cheapest option. Just be prepared to have that kind of money if you really want it to your car, guy who assisted me is kind and direct to the point so still 5 star for them.

BMW MMI update for CarPlay from Bimmertech this is a hardware install that maintains the legacy head unit and iDrive system to run through CarPlay. So the head unit stays; it s just a matter of getting the update in, which was not something I was willing to do myself. Frank and Eddie installed this unit throughly for my 2012 BMW despite the product being a brand they DO NOT sell or represent and I m thrilled. This is a wonderful shop: local and independent. We gotta keep these niche shops running! Highly recommend. Wasn t cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Thanks Frank for the great service. I took my corolla 2015 to this shop to check the front speakers and their wirings because there was something wrong with hands free calling; I couldn t hear the callers, however the car stereo was working fine on tweeters and the rear speakers.He found both front speakers are blown and corrosions in the wirings. He changed both front speakers and 2 feet wirings.Apparently this is an issue in this generation of Corolla, may be due to water accumulating inside the door cavity on top of the speakers. All the credit to a post at a corolla forum and Frank who was willing to confirm the diagnosis. When i took it to the dealership, they weren t interested to look and confirm the cause of the issue; just offered a software update. Attached are pictures of the worn speakers.

I'll just say they told me after the fact, that "you can not connect amps to secondary batteries," and let the quality of their work be represented by the pictures. Apparently the customer is only right, if you pay double the area average to get sub par work done.

Frank is the man! Kind and professional, he and the team at CSS will get your project done efficiently and most importantly -- with absolute precision. They installed a backup camera into my 2002 4Runner and I could not be more pleased with their work. I would absolutely recommend Frank and CSS for any installation. Thank you again!

Frank and his team are world-class!! I spent several weeks looking carefully into whether I should spend a significant amount of $$ upgrading my car stereo--a truly costly luxury given how everything else has become doubly expensive after the pandemic. I visited multiple shops in the metro area, and when I came to Car Stereo Systems, after hearing what I wanted done, the owner Frank spent about two minutes explaining to me the options are available at his shop. Unlike other shops whose staff tried to push me into expensive systems, Frank did not push anything. At all. He simply presented the options as they were. I spent another week reading product reviews and comparing prices, and concluded that while other places will offer cheaper alternatives, including national big chain stores like Best Buy and Amazon, what I will get at Frank's shop is quality components that the owner will stand by. When I brought my car in, he got the install completed and tested multiple times in 3 hours, and the job was *absolutely* perfect. The mechanical install was flawless and well thought-out and well-placed under the hood and in the interior, and the sound quality was *superb*. I had been afraid that after doubling the system's power output, my car was going to sound like another one of those thousand-watt thumping things that roam the streets. What I got was a master-craftsman at his best, a pro-level tuning of the system. The sound was classy, elegant, controlled, and matches exactly the look and feel of my car. I actually could not leave my car when I got home, and just sat in the driveway and listened to tracks after tracks. If I could give these guys a 6-star rating, I would. Frank and Eddie: in case you guys read this, a big *Thank You* to you both!!!

The owner of the shop is fantastic. He put some speakers & amp on my motorcycle at a very fair price. Then a year later I had an issue with the wiring (my fault not theirs) and he fixed it on the spot for free, but I still tipped for the service. I ll always go to him. Highly recommend.

This company has a rare quality: Frank is honest, cheerful, knowledgable, courteous, diligent. I stopped in there, needing a car battery; dealer had been rude. Frank got it and installed it. When I needed tires, I remembered his honesty and got my tires from him. It is refreshing to see an honest person. He also had good prices. I am so impressed.

I needed to install a Bluetooth stereo fast and the workers here took me in (day of, called a few hours before they closed) - no in advance scheduling needed. Additionally, these guys were so kind because by the time I was able to drop of my car, it was getting close to being over their business hours. But they were very kind willing to help me out, staying longer than needed. They did the installation within an hour.My Bluetooth stereo works perfectly and I love it.Kind and great service. Would recommend versus other places where you have to wait weeks on weeks to get an appointment.

If you are in need of tires, parts, or a stereo system, call this company and ask for Frank. I located Frank online via social media. Both of my cars were in need of a tire or two as well as head lights. Frank was responsive, answered all of my questions super quickly. The prices I got from Frank were insanely inexpensive in comparison to some of the other quotes I received. The used tires I purchased from their company were basically brand new. Such a quiet gem in the heart of Fairfax. I used to work less than a quarter mile from his location and never noticed they were there. They are situated right across the street from Anita s and the car wash. My cars were in and out of there in less than 30 minutes.To put it in perspective, two of the used tires I purchased and had installed was roughly the same price my dealership tried to charge me just to put my spare tire on. Great fun Staff quick service no games just a quote and a decision. Installation was quick and all works as expected. Prices are higher than years ago but that's just everywhere now days. I definitely will be back to this business. They are honest and upfront and do quality work. Thank you guys for your help with my car screen

Frank and his team were great. I walked in and they welcomed me with great energy. Frank is a very humble and patient guy. The prices were very reasonable; they were not high what so ever. The store is a very good environment. Their service is awesome and Frank and his team are very kind and generous, they gave me a great deal. I DEFIANTLY recommend going to Car Stereo Systems to anyone who needs car stereo installation. I will defiantly go back whenever my car needs it!!!!!

Let me tell you that first I never write reviews of places, but I felt I needed to write something due to the professionalism, good-nature and quality of service that I received. If you are considering replacing your car stereo and live in NOVA, then go to this place NOW! My 3 year old son broke our car radio by putting a bunch of pennies in the CD system. I went to various places in NOVA and got outrageous price quotes to install a new system. I just happened to see Frank's business on the side of the road and I called him from Arlington where we live to ask him about an install. I explained what happened to our car and he said to come in and gave me a very reasonable cost range. After I got to his place, he showed me different models and gave me a bunch of price options without trying to up sell me on stuff. Franks a very honest, nice guy. Guy was so nice that he even put my groceries in his fridge so that the meat I had bought at the supermarket wouldn't go bad while they did the install. More businesses should work like this! Awesome service. High recommended and a great deal for stereo install in the NOVA area.

Thank you so much Frank for fixing Dash Cam on my Honda CRV. I had a Rexing S1 Pro 3-channel dashcam. It has an external back camera and lots of other things Like GPS and, hard wire kit etc.. I liked Frank's honesty and got my work done with reasonable price. It was a lot of work but Frank and his team done the work very fast. They hardwired my dash cam in fuse box, grounded the wires and it was very neat and clean work. They even used their own hardwares without extra cost. There were bunch of wires but they arranged it so neat and discreet that those wires are not even visible. The work was very professional and clean. They really took care of my car and worked on it with their hearts. I am definitely going to refer all my friends and colleagues to this place and will definitely come here for sure if I have any other instalments to make. Thanks again Frank and team.

I walked away from this shop impressed by how they treat their customers and do their business. I know if I want to upgrade my car in the future, this would be the place that I will come to first.

Went in yesterday to see about upgrading the sound system my CR-V. Met with Frank who advocated not upgrading it due to the cost as Honda's system is so proprietary. I was not surprised by his honesty - echoed a number of years ago when Frank did work on a previous car. I never had issues with what he and team installed. It's refreshing to see such honesty. Best of the best! Frank gives excellent recommendations based on your budget. All the items recommended were explained in detail as to why I might one product over the other. He was patient, friendly and very knowledgeable. I have had excellent work done in my Mazda 3 and everything was discreetly installed. "WOW" is often what I hear once the music turns on. Can't get much better than this! A+ experience.

No push to buy more, gave his honest opinion on what would be the best and cheapest way to put the system in my Mitsubishi. The sound system was installed quickly and works perfectly. Frank did a great job sourcing and installing new speakers in my Ford Fusion Hybrid. He replaced the original stock speakers with Phoenix Gold and the improvement in clarity is amazing - now in the same league as the Bose system in my Infiniti. I listen to classical music and can hear instruments that I never knew were there. Love it!

From the many audio shops I have been to, honestly, this has been the best experience, hands down. Installed my sub without an appointment because he wanted to be a man of his word (forgot the owners name).Overall, prices are fair, and the work done was perfect.Will definitely be going to them for future requests.

Just had a new system installed this week. Great quality and service. Very knowledgeable owner and staff. Didn t try to upsale me on things I didn t need. No damage to car during install ie plastics, etc. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to improve their sound.
