Mechanic in the shop has a nut loose.. came in just to get a steer tire changed.. Noticed him messing around with my batteries and asked him what he was doing. He replied "it's free" I said I didn't ask for that.. he replied "it's free" 3 more times. Before I told him too take his sht off my truck.. he got in my face saying "I'm not the one" what a big bad mechanic... left without getting my steer replaced. Won't use loves again good job pal

Came to get a tire replaced. They replaced the wrong tire. Rather than apologizing and fixing the issue, they claimed I told them to replace a different, perfectly good and legal, tire. Three techs and a mechanic, no other work, sitting around and not fixing my truck. It has been more than two hours, will not return.

I had one of the worst experiences I have ever had at ANY speedco location. To top this list is just absolutely insane that one shop could be so terrible.01/21/24 around 0900 I checked in for an easy Engine filter change, tire pass, and to add a little coolant. The " Manager" was not enthusiastic or happy to be there at all and it was very evident. It was very clear he wanted 0 work to do.I was quoted approx 3 hours as there were 3 trucks in front of me. No problem I stated, I went back to my truck and waited nearly 4 hours before calling and being told that there were still 3 trucks in front of me.It was very clear that NO work had been done. It wasn't that this employee was on a road call etc, it's the fact that he was simply standing around waiting for shift change. (Unfortunately this happens across the board at many loves)Upon shift change and nearly 6 hours into the wait I was still super kind and after asking how long more it would be I was told I could drop trl and pull in front of a bay and that they would direct me in when they were ready.It was clear that NO rules were followed at this shop as drivers were out on the floor and no one ever asked me for my key.I waited until 8+hours to be told that they did not have an engine filter. I was BEYOND frustrated at this point, because 8 hours ago I had given them my truck information and told them exactly what I needed.I didn't want to pay for anything at this point. I couldn't believe that they were attempting to charge me at this point. Upon getting new windshield wipers they took them off and handed me back my old ones refusing to even put them back on. No coolant was ever added as I requested and when I spoke to GM I was told the $5 tirepass I would not be charged for.Upon the tirepass I was told they do not print out tire sheets anymore (this is not true)Every bit of this experience was absolutely horrific and is by far the worst experience I have ever had at ANY loves / speedco locations.Unfortunately it's very clear corporate needs to visit this location. Let go of the manager who hates his job, it couldn't be more clear.

Came to do an oil and filter change on my semi truck on Thurdays 7 March 24. The truck didn't have any issues when I dropped it off. They called me and said the truck won't start, and no one knew why. I had to wait until the next morning for someone to diagnose the issue .They said the starter went bad, but I was not having any issue whatsoever with the truck or the starter, for that matter. Ok, let's change it, I said. The truck started, but the RPM was fluctuating at idle, and it was making a clanking noise coming from the motor and shutting off. Before I came to Speedco, the truck was running just fine, but now I'm having all kinds of issues with it after an oil and filter change. I'm gonna end up towing it to Kenworth. Stay away from this place if you are an owner operator. I definitively do not recommend this place. No more services at Speedco for me. They are trash!

Helpful & friendly. I had a low tire & weather was bad, so I stopped at Loves to get air. The air machine was broken (workers inside thought it had been fixed) so no sign. It drained my tires too low to continue. I limped next door to Speedco & without hesitation they came out in the dark cold windy rain & filled all 4 tires so I could finish my trip safely. I am truly grateful for their kindness & wish their families the same good karma they shared with me.Service: Tires

Today was the last time giving them a shot. First thing this morning, needed a simple grease job on a company dry van trailer. Cant do it because the grease machine is broken. Ive been told this atleast 6 times in the last two years at this location. Furthermore, I once called to confirm their availability for a grease job. Drove the 20 minutes over there just to get told it was broken. What kind of shop cant do a simple grease job? Those of you getting PMs, I hope you're having that charge taken off your bill. Been going here off and on for years since the Speedco expansion. It seems they have a hard time keeping people at this location as its always new people working. Wait times have varied like anywhere else. I've had far better luck at the Loves south off 95 in Skippers, VA and the one off 85 in South Hill, VA. Going north I'd hit the Boss Shop at the 104. The people have always been nice, but that don't keep the wheels turnin and earnin. Also, they aren't 24hrs. Starts up around 0730.

I wanted to write a review to say thank you so much again to the people who helped me yesterday when my car's battery died at the gas pump. It was Tyler, Irwin, and another man who's name I unfortunately didn't get. They did not have to help me at all, but all three of them really went out of their way to fix my car, and by no means was I a customer scheduled for them, I just happened to be passing through. I feel kinda stupid because I don't know if they're employees at Love's or Speedco, or if it's all the same thing, but I'll be leaving a review on both just in case. Thank you guys again so much! All your help really meant the world to me! Also a big thank you to the lady and the guy at the register for asking around if anyone had jumper cables, because without you guys asking around I would have probably had to have my car towed. Thank you x 1000!

After waiting for 4 hrs to do DOT Inspection and Todd told me I am the next. Then one of the employees came and skipped my turn and told me I have to wait with rude way and Todd did nothing.Not professional no management no respect not going there anymore

Was lucky to get in and out within 1 hr for PM oil change on Friday evening. It was DOT week so many truck was out of the road.
