This is the place in danville if you expect honesty in servicing your automobile or tow service. My wife and I always recommend Southside service to anyone we know and those who happen to have a problem with a mechanical problem. It's hard to find honest businesses this is one. They truly are, and they truly do their best to satisfy their customers and we, are ONE of them. Highly recommend Southside Brake & Tire in danville va.

They did work on my husband's truck months ago, super quick and fair priced for the work done. Today, I went in and got a state inspection. THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST MECHANIC SHOP YOU WILL FIND! I have been going to them for YEARS. I have had several repairs done on my car - and everyone knows that my car means the world to me. They are so personable and professional and will treat you and your car with so much respect. I literally LIVE IN RALEIGH NC now and will somehow, some way, get my car to Southside when it needs something. They have always been so transparent with their prices. I m a young lady (24 years old) and they ve had many opportunities that I m sure they could ve taken advantage of me not knowing about what parts I need, but even when they ve ordered the parts, they ve told me they didn t install certain ones & didn t charge me because the parts were not needed. They have worked with me endlessly on pricing, helping me with understanding my car, and have given me plenty of free advice that has saved me hundreds. I will literally not take my car to anyone but them. The people working there are truly amazing and so intelligent about their trade. I literally don t have the words to recommend this mechanic shop enough! They even came and picked me up once time with the tow truck when I had a bad flat tire. They have come through for me time and time again and deserve all the hype the great reviews give them. I cannot recommend them enough!!!!!!! They are phenomenal and will take care of you and your vehicles !!!!

Wonderful service. Guys know what they are doing. Had breaks scratching a little and told me that I could change break pads and that it would work fine. Honest business. Fair price

Tried this shop for my first time to be foreal & I never knew it was there but glad I found it the service was excellent but that wasn't the thing that sold me. The professional service was beyond great & hospitality was what made me think I will love to do business here so THANKS so much I'll see you again!!!

The entire crew at Southside Brake and Tire are awesome. I stopped by on my lunch break to see if they could work me in for a quick tire rotation. I really didn't expect them to be able to but to my surprise they did. Before I left I saw I had interrupted their lunch but they still worked me in. I have been going to them for over 30 years for any and all of my auto needs. Great customer service you can trust and very reasonable pricing. I highly recommend Southside Brake and Tire!

Awful service towed my vehicle in for a battery said I needed a radiator. Went to pick the vehicle up it would not start one of the service men got it started drove it home got ready to go to w not start.They towed it ba in to fix the starter . Checked under the hood they didn't put the cross bar back.took it again because it was overheating the vehicle is not driveable it's smoking like a train because of a blownrheadgasket I expect to drive my fix it. Came for a car inspection. The main takeaway was the customer service, great down to earth people. The second was the efficiency, I was in and out within 30 minutes. 10/10 recommend.

Came here for an inspection from Greensboro, NC (vehicle is registered to VA). On the way, I ran over a screw. They had me in & out with a plugged tire & an inspection in no time. Guys are super friendly, and super professional.Service: TiresService: Tires

I needed my car inspected...they said i needed brakes and wipers. In about an hours time my car was repaired and inspected. These guys are super nice and price is pretty fair

they held my car for a month, broke it worse than it was by locking my engine somehow, and then said 'the engine is locked'. YEAH THANKS GENIUS ITS LOCKED NOW, IT WAS NOT WHEN YOU TOOK IT FROM MY BACK YARD A MONTH AGO. use them if you are white i guess.

Put part in but did not check to make sure it was working. Told me all was requested was put the part in. So be sure to go the next step, if you go, and tell them you want them to make sure the replacement part works. Did not make repair when stated then advised me that I could take car and leave.

Had electrical work done on AC/Heater fan & passenger seat !!! They fixed the problems and I was truly satisfied with cost !�! Friendly Staff & Crew !!!!

Joe and the auto technicians (Brian plus more) here will sous out what nebulous cause is responsible for the slowest leak known to man better than anyone else in Danville or Reidsville area. Great job repairing my clutch master AND slave cylinders. They carry my favorite brand of economic-Michelin family tire, the impressive Hancook line. My former truck for 9 years and all 3 different cars I've had do very well with Hancooks, best mileage and wet/mud traction for your money. Joe did a great job mounting these on my ancient 'Olla. They're gonna replace my electronic side mirror assembly next. Another oil change and fluids check. I no longer ride with a liter of DOT clutch fluid in the car!I missed my NC car guys at B and B Garage in Durham until I found y'all.Thanks Southside Brake and Tire : ]

I called this place to get service on my car. They told me that in order to fix my car that I would have to drop it off and leave it there all day and that I wasn t allowed to sit it in the waiting area. I think that was very rude and unprofessional.

Replaced two tires and reset TPMS sensors. MY sensors had to be programmed since they were new. Two previous mechanics couldn't do it.
