The employees are very friendly and always welcoming but it takes hours to get an oil change or you are turned away because they don't have anyone to do oil changes. Love the dealership side of the business but the service department is severely lacking and I will definitely consider another dealership when I purchase another new car because the service department needs to get it together. Kind of a shame because Casey is an amazing sales guy that isn't pushy at all

My Nissan Rogue needed a transmission. I bought my car from Car Max and bought the MaxCare warranty so I new if anything went wrong with my vehicle it would be covered. Upon inspection, Robert Woodall Nissan Service center associate Matt Tate called to tell me I would need to pay an additional $700+ because my warranty only covered 10 hours labor and he needed 15 hours. He also said things needed to be done that weren't covered but never explained what those things were. I decided to get my car towed to Cottman Transmission bc Car Max in Greensboro suggested them. The next day Cottman Transmission called me and said I didn't owe a thing because everything he found to be wrong was covered under the warranty and labor hours on a transmission were indeed under 10 hours. I tried to be super nice about not wanting Robert woodalls service team to work on my car but every time I tried to call to communicate my needs they kept hanging up on me. In short, if you have a warranty on your vehicle don't let these mechanics bully you into thinking you have to pay more than what is covered under the warranty. Always ask for a second opinion. Here it is my daughter's 6th birthday and Christmas in 10 days and he was trying to swindle an extra $700+ out of me. And then, when I called to ask him to cancel the claim that he entered to the warranty center, he told me he would not call for me so I then called the warranty center and Robert Woodalls service teams receptionist on three-way and as soon as they transferred me to Matt and he then hung up on us. I definitely do not recommend this service center.

They tried to take advantage of my young son. They also were very uncooperative in helping me determine if a previous repair would be covered by the GM dealer who completed the original repair. They advised my son to not drive the vehicle and tried to give my son a $500 estimate before even looking at the car. They didn't want to give him a written estimate and told him in addition to the $500 repair they needed to do another test which would require them to "open it up" to properly diagnose other damage and that would be $2k. I did NOT let them complete the $2k repair and had my vehicle towed back home. I got an independent mechanic to look at the vehicle and he stated the initial repair did not replace the gasket which resulted in the need for the repair at Woodall and Woodall did not replace/ complete the repair using new parts. The also would Not give us a written estimate of what the $2k repair was supposed to cover. Crooks with overpriced vehicles and shoddy work.
