I had an issue with the service department. The manger worked with me immediately to resolve my issue. I really appreciate great customer service. It was never about the service I received. They did a great job. They fixed my issue in a timely manner. I really just love that the manger took the time to listen and helped me feel good about my situation. I m glad there are still company s out there that will listen to the customer and still believe in great customer service. I will definitely continue to shop at Shelor for my future vehicles and always recommend them.

5 stars for the kindness of the staff. We stopped here on a road trip because our rental car tire kept leaking air. They claimed they could not find anything wrong. We ended up stopping again at Mavis and they questioned how the dealer could find nothing since the inside rim was extremely damaged. They showed us the damage and my untrained eye could see the very visible issue. Mavis fixed it and we had no further issue. The time we spent at Shelor added an additional 3 hrs to our already long journey. As nice as they were, I wish they were as thorough in diagnosing the problem. I would have rathered them be rude and find the issue than nice and send us on our way with a damaged tire.

The Service Dept.: excellent employees and thorough with diagnostics. Communicated effectively regarding status of Forrester's issues. Shuttle: Gary is a pleasant and personable "driver" and the van was comfortable. Enjoyed the service which was very much appreciated. Many thanks to Chris Harney in the service department for impeccable communication and service.

We had scheduled our vehicle to have some issues repaired because we were under the impression that the vehicle was still covered under the extended warranty that we had purchased from Shelor. When we scheduled our service, we informed them that we were interested in warranty repairs, we repeated this when we dropped off the vehicle. At both instances they claimed that they would only check if the work would be covered AFTER the diagnostic work (at $140/hr, which is higher than the nationwide average for Ford Dealerships, and more than double the rate of local garages). Both times we insisted that we would only want this done if it was covered by the warranty. They did not check our warranty at either instance. On the phone (roughly 36 hrs after dropping off the vehicle) they still had not investigated our warranty status and were asked to investigate the status of our warranty. I never heard back about our warranty, so I reached out to the warranty provider, who informed us the vehicles warranty had lapsed. At this point I called every person I could get a hold of at the service department to not proceed with any more work. After several hours I reached a service manager who essentially told us that despite this being a misunderstanding, and no one at Shelor checking our warranty information despite our multiple requests, we would still owe them over $700 for diagnostic work.It took quite a bit of work to reach someone who could help us resolve the matter, but we were able to reach an agreement.A lot of headache could be spared if they could have checked our warranty at any point before they started working on diagnosing our issues

Just bought a used vehicle from them in December, a 2017 Outlander Sport, mind you, I've never bought a vehicle from a dealership before, so with that said, I'm a first time car buyer. And their professionalism was A+++!! The two guys where named Chris and they were both very respectful, nice, professional, and very informative. They explained everything to me in words that I could understand, and if I didn't, they reworded it in ways I could understand. They tried to do everything they could for me that would be less expensive as possible to me. I actually bought the extra insurance that they offered to me at the time I bought the vehcile so I will end up not paying anything for the parts and such that they needed to fix my car and also offered me a rental vehicle for 2 days for free. Definitely I'm very happy that I purchased a vehicle from them and the friend that came with me even said she would definitely consider coming here when she decides to buy another vehicle due to the amazing customer service I received. I'll have more of a review when I go tomorrow to get my vehicle. But the past few times, I've talked to them over the phone, and the times I've encountered them in person, they are amazing. I couldn't asked for a better place to purchase a vehicle from.

I have had great service in sales and financing, but the service department lacks customer service. I had a couple of recalls looked at and completed. After, I took the vehicle home the coolant reservoir cap blew off and the 2020 Ford Escape overheated. I called their service department and was told that a manager would call me back. This was around 9 am est and I waited until almost 5 pm est. I decided to call back, knowing that they were going to close soon and was transferred to someone named Quinton, not sure how to spell it. He told me that he did not call me back, because they did not touch anything that involved my coolant reservoir. That is exactly how a service provider can immediately anger a customer. The good news is that I only had to walk an half a mile to get coolant, and spent an hour and an half purging the system. It seems to work well now with a slight engine tick, slight loss of power sometimes, and the smell of the coolant entering the cabin area from the engine compartment. Also, before this incident, I purchased a car cleaning package with my Escape and they applied the first coat for me. I waited for the service department to complete the work and was able to get my Escape back late in the evening. It was dark when I received it and drove home for the night. When I went to my vehicle in the morning, I noticed that they wax was not completely polished on the roof and had to finish their work. In all honesty, the polish was no big deal, but the coolant reservoir lack of concern completely lost my faith in their service department. I only mention it because I am furious with that department. I will still purchase a vehicle from Shelor, but will never use their service department again.

I had a warranty issue with my new car at the end of October Shelor told me a manager would reach out to me to get the issue resolved. I never heard anything back. I contacted them in November, December, January and February being told a manger would contact me each time. I haven t heard anything back. I would never recommend going to them for any issues or warranty issues. The managers are to incompetent to return a call about getting a simple warranty issue resolved. When purchasing a 60k car I expect dealerships to help quickly when there is a simple fix for an issue not to toy with you and tell you every time you contact them that their manager will give you a call back. This is the worst service I have ever received from a dealership.

They can't figure out how to fix a 2019 ram with 40,000 that has had issues since day 1 of purchase but they have no problem charging you for it. Have had the truck for a year now still dealing with related issues. Assuming diesel fuel put into a gasoline engine from previous owner. They said they would look into it since the truck was originally bought here and serviced by shelor but never was told if it was looked into or not. They say they look at it while the warranty is still active but say they can't find the problem. But when the warranty runs out they are more interested in finding the problem so they get paid for it because when the warranty is still good they don't get paid as much. Be careful people. Most places only have code readers not true mechanics. Or it could be just a money scheme. I have had a check engine light come on recently that was a fuel system component that failed. Probably related to current issues. I fixed myself since shelor is incompetent. Even though it runs better now it's still not correct. Guess this will be a recurring problem. Can't get rid of it either because of the problems because other dealers will see the problems and I'll lose thousands of dollars. Thanks shelor!

We have had a miss in our engine of our 2022 Yukon xl and issues that started with our defrost running when heat or air is solely on the floor. They stated over and over that their master mechanic can t find anything and we still have the same problems that we brought into them for. Unfortunately, this is not the first vehicle. Unfortunately, this has happened a couple of times and we are having to get our vehicles serviced and actually fixed other places. It s a sad situation and somebody should definitely look into the service department and how it is run.

Very helpful! Wish I would ve gotten an estimated total price when I told them what I needed done, but it needed done and I didn t ask so great service though! I tried to switch to small garage s, but I m back after the small garage s I went to did nothing but screw me over

I do not recommend!I went for inspection and oil change for my Jeep. They scraped off the dealer sticker that had nothing to do with oil change and listed phone number and warranty info from my purchase dealer. No reason to remove it!Then they didn't even reset the oil change life and the next time I started it came up with the message 'needs oil change' on the dash.Never again. Horrible experience. Save yourself the grief and go anywhere else.

My family and I have used shelor motor mile sales and service center for decades. In the last 5 to 7 years they have changed almost completely. Very rude, short, and unwilling to reason. From nickel and diming customers to causing damage to customer's vehicles that they are unwilling to mitigate. I recently bought a new vehicle from shelor, but because of my experience with service and the sales department I decided not to buy my recent company trucks from them. Because of this, the service department inferred today that they would not honor their warranty I purchased from them on the new vehicle I bought a few months ago while we was having a conversation about them charging me for "shop supplies" to program a key fob. At the same time another customer was arguing with the service department about replacing a wheel that they scratched; which they tried to use compound wax to cover the scratches but you could still clearly see the damage. The customer stated he literally just bought the vehicle a month ago from shelor. Very simular to one of my recent experiences coincidently. I use to enjoy when it was time to update one of my personal vehicles or company trucks and I would always go to shelor, and because of that nostalgia, I was still considering using them to purchase my next upgrade this year, but after today, the absolute disdain they treated me with and the shear unwillingness to reason or to at least have a conversation, whether we agreed or not, was just astonishing to me. Added in with how they was treating the other customer that had his wheel damaged by shelor service center, there is no way I would ever buy another vehicle from them now. And if the service advertiser/manager is correct when they inferred not honoring my warranty I just purchased from them, or even if they do, to show such disdain to even suggest such a thing is mind boggling to me! I truly don't understand what happened to shelor, but there is a major problem there now. By the looks of the reviews, my experiences are not isolated. I don't know of another local dealership that I would recommend instead, but I urge anyone reading this to be very wary when dealing with shelor motor mile these days. Either the whole place is corrupted for whatever reason, or the management is unwilling to hear customer feedback and implement corrections.

Waited 2+ hours for a car inspection, and 40+ mins just for them to grab my car. Then failed me cause they wanted to charge me $42 for a light bulb that is $4 on rock auto. Never coming here again.

Brought my car in that I bought from them for what I told them was an electrical issue. They roll me it was a bad battery. I put in a new battery and still had the same issue. I brought it back for repair and they told me they fixed it. Turns out they didn't as I still had the same problem. I brought it back again only to be told they fixed the problem. Well. I brought it back a 4th time for the exact same thing and now they charge me $420 to clean corrosion on a ground cable. Biggest rip off in town!Service: Electrical repair

Excellent customer service. Nice waiting area with a coffee machine that makes different kinds of beverages. They have bottled water and clean bathrooms.

Diagnostic was quick. Service was great. They even trusted me to pay at a later time because Ford Pass was down. The waiting room adheres to all CDC guidelines. Wifi works fine. Even sent a couple of emails for work. Express lane wait is a little too long for inspections and oil changes.

This place is an absolute JOKE!!! Do not ever take your vehicle to them. I have a 2024 Kia that has been having electrical problems and they continue to tell me nothing is wrong with it but the issues have continued. I will never ever take my car back to these people

Have gone here for inspections over the years. I scheduled a 1pm state inspection a week ago. It was complete at 3:30 pm and I waited which I think is a long time for just an inspection. They did give me a free car wash however.

Brought my car here due to a parts recall and they set me up with an appointment to get it inspected then installed. People were friendly but takes a little while for things to get done. Expect to wait for longer than their time estimate (mine took 3 hours instead of their estimated 2).They've got a lounge for you to wait while your car is being serviced equipped with free wi-fi, a coffee machine, bottled water and juices. Snack machine available in the back. There is a room tucked away in the back for little children to hang out in. Tables and outlets are scarce so be sure too be fully charged if you'll be here for a while. Some of the seats do have a wide armrest platform.

Took my pickup in for its first free inspection yesterday, Darryl the service advisor was very friendly and professional, made a great first impression which I think is very important. They were very busy that day but between Darryl and the service technician the wait wasn t very long.

Was going to do my oil change myself to avoid paying $120 for one through shelor again and come to find out the last time I got my oil change done here they rounded my oil plug off. Told them they did and they said it was normal wear and tear my car has low miles ain t no way even the other shop said that s not a thing. I m assuming Shelor impacted it off. I took it a couple weeks ago to a different shop and they have told me it was completely rounded off this time and unable to be salvaged because shelor messed it up even more. Not to mention once I got an oil change done here and they forgot to put oil back in Service: Oil change

Shady, and way over priced. Avoid at all costs. Took the car in for a code, and they did the repair, but they returned the car with another light on on the dash: "won't pass inspection like that" mechanic tells me."it wasn't on when I brought the car in" I tell him . We go back and forth a few minutes, long story short - I bring the car in to fix the dash light that they broke - $1400. Every time I take the car in there's always some "bad news" that costs another grand to fix. Our car is a 2017 Chevy. With < 50k miles.

Had an inspection on one of my trucks, they said I need both exhaust manifolds replaced. Found out they lied to me. I'm in the process of contacting the State Police. Be careful if you use them.
