Incompetent and unethical. if you value your money or your life you might want to take your car elsewhere. Long story short, in replacing front brakes and rotary they completely fried my electronic brake system. In addition to the $1800 to Auto Care, it cost me $2800 to repair it. Apparently Auto Care bled the brakes incorrectly which fried the electronics. And, the car was so dangerous to drive that it was strongly recommended that, for my safety and others, I not drive it off the lot.

after having called around to other garages and explaining to them the situation with my car I was told i can't fix it by one garage and all the others told me it needed to be sent to dealership . so this place was recommended for me to call Don answered after explaining it to him he said have it sent to me I can fix it and that he did (thanks Brad for the recommendation ) and thank you guys for fixing my car highly recommend to anyone!!!

His estimate was hundreds under anyone else in town. Also, he then gave me another discount when checking out. I will bring my vehicle back here as long as I'm in the area. The place was packed busy all day so you know it's good.

These folks have serviced my vehicle since I bought it in 2018. They also serviced my previous vehicles as well. I don't say this lightly. They are friendly, professional, and explain everything that needs to be replaced, fixed or updated. I recently visited there for my vehicle tune up. I was told my battery should be replaced soon. It was not completely dying, however, my thinking was I probably needed to go ahead and get it replaced. When I left the shop my vehicle drove so much better. A big thanks to everybody for your care and service. And a special thank you to Calvin.

Excellent emergency assistance and repair.I was on a road trip and car broke down on the interstate. Auto Care Tires & Service was very friendly and helpful from start to finish. They even called me back after my phone lost service to ensure I had all the information I needed. I was able to get back on the road and finish my trip later that day. I wish I lived closer to utilize their services when my car is acting up.

We take all 4 of our cars here. Some domestic and some foreign. We've always been treated very nice and never have to worry about our interior things. I would definitely recommend this shop.

I took my wife's car for an inspection sticker. We just bought the car about a month ago. I had the license plates and screw driver. Upon entering I was greeted promptly. The gentleman said they would get to it in another minute. I told him I was going to step outside to put my plates on while waiting. He said we will take care of that for you so have a seat and stay warm. It was 29 degrees outside. Even though I am quite capable. He had no clue I was fighting the flu. I would give them a 10 if I could. Great first time experience here

We have been taking our vehicles there for a few years and we have always been pleased. Nice, professional and their work has always been great! They even help drop my vehicles off since I live local and we sometimes have crazy schedules. Will keep going back :)

This is your typical dishonest auto shop, I have no idea how they are still in business. Also extremely overpriced, you can buy the parts yourself from any part store for significantly cheaper than they charge for the exact same part. Any place with this many negative reviews should be avoided at all costs (sure critic doesn't count, they limit the number of bad [real] reviews). And the owner gave himself 5 stars on Facebook, so I wouldn't be certain all the positive reviews on here are legitimate. Finally, I live in Tennessee so this definitely wasn't from a failed inspection sticker.

Don has always done me and my family right. Anyone that says otherwise is a liar in my opinion. He is very fair and thorough and he doesn't hire trash workers. I'll continue to recommend this place and take our vehicles here. A+ in our book! Trustworthy and reliable every time.

We've taken our car here breaks, oil changes, and tires. There prices are good friendly atmosphere and and there mechanics really know what they're doing. Guaranteed worked. Also my first time there one of the guys went and picked a woman from work so she pick up her vehicle I was pressed because I didnt think anyone did this no more.

I have been taking my cars to Autocare for several years and have always been happy with their service. They are nice, friendly and fair in their pricing. I appreciate going into a business where they know me and provide the service at least as well as expected if not better!

I am not sure why the low rating. My guess is other people on here have lemons and they expect miracles. I have all my work done there and I have had nothing but good experiences. Many times I have asked for them to look to see if a part is ready to be replaced and they have said no. This was an opportunity for them to take advantage of advantage but they were always honest. This is a good place to take your car.

There are too many other good auto repair places in the Bristol TN/VA area for this shop to even still exist. Surprised it's still doing business.UPDATE: Apparently the owner thinks I'm a disgruntled employee, which is weird but also kind of funny. I should think most professional places of business have more pressing things to do than personally attack each negative review they receive. I saw the same treatment directed toward another person on here. Not exactly mature behavior.At any rate, I am a vehicle owner. I have had my vehicles serviced at auto repair shops during my lifetime. I have seen much better treatment at several other shops than I've ever seen at AutoCare Tires & Service. So yes, "owner", I do know what I'm talking about. Kindly go find some work to do and stop alienating your public.

I don't understand the low rating here. Everyone seems super nice. Pricing it's unbeatable. Just got a harmonic balancer and rear axel replaced on a corvette for 1/3 the price of the dealer. Appears to be good work can't beat a warranty either. Took a little longer then expected but didn't cost anymore. Can't complain about that. I'd rather have good work done then quick work. Thanks guys!

We always have tires put on here. My whole family has been using them for years. They do a great job and are honest people. Don is good to work with you if he can. We'll keep coming back!

Very nice and courteous. Clean establishment. Got to my vehicle real quick and this with no appointment. Took care of me overall very pleased with service. Very pleasant experience. Would highly recommend and will most definitely come back whenever my car needs it.

Do not give them your car. The people themselves may be nice, but you will assuredly be wildly overcharged, and more than likely retrieve your vehicle with more problems than when you left it. When I was forced to take mine back because it no longer locked or had radio funtion after they worked on it, it took them over 2 HOURS to figure out it was the fuses. All of this after charging more than a month's rent to replace an $85 part.

Do not use for vehicle inspections.This place opens at 8:00 am. I arrive early to be first so I can get in and out and off to work. In spite of being the only person there for an inspection, I wait over 20 minutes just for them to pull the car in and get started. It was another 20 minutes for them to return my car with NOBODY doing anything the few times I looked in. Clearly, vehicle inspections are low priority.Worse is that the car was retuned with the driver's window down and key fob left in the car. When I protested, the attitude was, "It's sitting right there!" It takes only 5 seconds to steal a car with the keys left in the car...less if it has push-button start. When I looked the car over at the office, I found that rather than lay down a cloth to catch the old sticker scraped off the widow, half of it was dropped into the defroster vent. Overall, they took no care to return the vehicle in as clean a condition as they received it.I get that this place does more than just inspections, but a job that takes not even 15 minutes shouldn't keep someone waiting for over half an hour when they are the only customer in line. Being surly when a customer is upset just shows no class to boot.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Do not go to this place. They will leave you waiting all day and rip you off in a heart beat. We took our car there to get an inspection sticker. They told us there was a fog light out. We asked how much one would be and he said oh just a couple dollars or so. We went ahead and told them we wanted it. After an hour and a half of waiting they told us to come pay. $54 was what they said the total was. A sticker is only $16. We asked how much the bulb was they said $13.99. The rest was labor of putting in a bulb I could have popped on in 10 minutes. I do not like that they lied to us about how much it would be. They are not honest and they are so slow. The man just took his time like other peoples time does not matter to him. I will never go back I will never tell anyone to go there. STAY AWAY. After this happened I was telling some people I know and they have had the same issue! I do not know how they stay in business. The owner Don has a horrible reputation.

Over 1500$ for brakes all around. I ended up getting only the front and I m pretty sure they aren t under warranty any longer and my front brakes are smoking. Should brakes be worn out since October?

Don and staff make you feel welcome. he doesn't do anything to your vehicle unless he goes over it with you. im very pleased with the service I received from Autocare

Quick, efficient service. Oil change and state inspection, plus a leak seal to fix a small air leak around a tire sensor. Decent prices, good customer service. The only things that threw off a five star rating was having the next mileage due only listed as about 200 miles from today's mileage and the tire pressures not being checked/set back to equal pressure before releasing my car.
