I've taken my car here for years, the level of service is not what it used to be. I requested an oil change, along with other services, three times. Once when calling to make my appointment. Once when someone called me back to confirm that appointment. And again when dropping off. Each time the person I spoke with did not know any of the services I had originally requested. One week later, I got home this afternoon and as I pulled in my oil light came on. I checked the level, there is no oil. I called to ask what happened, and was told no oil change was requested or performed. Even so, my service sheet shows the oil level last week was marked as Good. All that to say, I will be taking my car elsewhere from now on, and recommend others do the same.

I don t like to give bad reviews, but I feel there was a lack of integrity for the services purchased and poor customer care. My interactions at the service desk were frustrating. The person running the counter took nearly 10 minutes to finish a task not customer related before I was checked in. When I called later to see if my service was completed, I was placed on a 10 minute hold while they checked. Then, I was made aware that my vehicle inspection wasrejected for a plethora of questionable reasons. When getting into my vehicle I noticed my tire pressures were still low, and that was a part of the service I paid for, but I didn t have time to address it at that moment. I called the next day and was given multiple excuses as to why this and other parts of the service I paid for were not completed. I was initially refused a refund until I adamantly voiced my displeasure. I later took my vehicle to a different location to have a second opinion on the inspection and they didn t find the issues that were brought up here. It was overall a very unsatisfying experience. It s becoming difficult to find a quality service station with integrity and staff who actually value their customers. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

There was an issue communicating with my lease company but Gwynn navigated it well despite the lease companies best efforts. She was a joy to work with and deserves any pay she wants. Easily doing two people's worth of work seamlessly while also being pleasant with customers. Great hire! Work on vehicle seems good thus far

I came with an appointment and they were great as always with my car but good grief. When I walked in a guy was yelling at the woman behind the counter because his car failed state safety inspection. She was so calm with him. She said hello to me with a smile even though he had been mean and used the oil change coupon without me having to pull it up on my phone. Great to see women!

Trust the 1 stars and stay away!I wouldn't recommend taking anything here if you expect clear communication or competency.Not only did they fail my vehicle for something that has been that way since I bought it, is not mechanical or emissions related and has passed 5-6 state inspections, including 2 different dealerships, but also didn't bother to mention any of it. Not when they called me and not even when I picked it up until I saw the paperwork as I was about to leave and asked them why there was a rejection report. They also did not perform part of the service that my appointment was for, which was balancing my wheels and also did not bother to mention that. I will not be taking anything to this store ever again.

Great customer service, very patient and attentive to vehicle issue description. Knowledgable, friendly mechanics on hand to service issues and discuss. Lifetime alignment for $200 accesible at any store is a blessing to have too! I now have it on 3 of our cars, added it to my moms too! It pays for itself over and over again.

I was in a horrible bind being 300 miles from home and a wheel bearing quickly going bad...Easter weekend, one hour to closing on a Saturday and we were greeted so pleasantly by Carmen and wonderful mechanic service by Eric. They took a VEERY stressful situation and made it wonderful! I can't thank them enough!!

I went to get my car inspected with them. They told me that my lower linkages are loose and require immediate changing and gave an rejection sticker.I am an automotive engineer so I asked them to show it to me which they didn t. I asked them to send me a video of the loose part, never got it till date.I then asked them to return the old part. I took them to my lab and the stiffness was within spec and normal wear tear as should be expected on a polymer part. I verified this with dealership as well.Also they did a very poor job when assembling the linkages back had a steering shake on braking.Recommend this place, if you you want to get ripped off and really hate your car.

Made appointment to fix tire after stopped in for the next day. Drove 30 minutes there. Got there then they said they couldn't do it. Said they couldn't lift my truck. Ram 3500. They said they didnt have a big enough jack to raise up rear corner to get tire off. Made excuses

This place is horrible. Save your time/money and go elsewhere. I went in for a routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of my engine heat shield. Very simple tasks. Nothing was really wrong with my car. Left the store and my car started to smoke and it smelled horrible inside. Turns out there was a concoction of transmission fluid and engine oil spilled all over my car. They then proceeded to tell me that my transmission was broken and leaking everywhere (it was actually just the oil they spilled everywhere). Once I returned back to the store, I made them change the oil in front of me, and they emptied BLACK engine oil. WEIRD because it s supposed to be a translucent Carmel color. These people knew they messed up my car and deliberately told lies to cover their mistakes. NEVER go to this place. A 2 hour event turned into 8 hours from hell. Super untrustworthy and have no idea how to handle cars. ***UPDATE: told me to reach out and they NEVER followed up. This place knows they are horrible.

My granddaughter s car broke down on a Sunday evening and it was towed to the Blacksburg, VA Firestone service center. The next morning, and all the way through the repair cycle, everyone we spoke with was professional, kind, and understanding. The parts were ordered promptly, the repair was completed quickly and her car was ready to be picked up Tuesday afternoon. We would highly recommend Carmyn and the whole team at the Blacksburg service center. Thank you for saving the day!

Heads up to guys working in the area this firestone has car lifts not ones for big trucks. Ive gotten into the habit of emptying my 3500s bed and running the extra fuel tank low so I can use them cause they're honest, genuine folks and I like it here.

Do yourself a favor and steer well clear of this place. They have NO IDEA what they are doing. I tried to make an appointment to get some tires put on at this place and a guy called me and said he had two reason why he couldn't mount my tires. One was that he didn't have a lift that could lift my truck..... Let that sink in. A tire shop doesn't have a lift that can lift an F350.... He even said his lift was only certified for 9000lbs..... Yeah, an F350 doesn't weight 9000lbs. Not even close. I mean when he first said it I was doubting myself and thinking he must be the expert. Nope, he is not. Then he said he didn't have a machine that could mount the tire because it was too big.... It was a 35/12.5/R18 TOYO AT(all terrain) tire. Its not even that big of a tire. Its a very popular truck tire they sell. The store is in VIRGINIA. They can't mount a truck tire. I think this guy thought it was a 35 inch WIDE tire. I just can't in good faith ever let these people touch my truck.

9:30 oil change scheduled while I waited. Car finally pulled into bay about 10:25 after i asked at 10:15, why it was still where I originally parked it. Then, delayed again so they could order a "special" oil filter not in stock. I didn't get out there until about 11:15 (I have been a regular customer for 20 years. Car serviced several times previously). Have had similar problems over last year.

Justin, the service manager, was amazing! My wife went there to get a tire changed under a 3rd party warranty and the warranty company gave us a hard time. Thankfully Justin stuck it through and helped us get it taken care of. 10/10 would recommend!

I went to them to do inspection for my car. They told me they gonna finish it same day. But it took them two days to see my car. After that they called me that I have to fix many things and pay $1500 in total to get my car inspected. They want to charge me for things that are not necessary for the inspection and they did that because my brake was almost free and I wouldn t be able to drive the car. So technically , I have to fix it with them. Luckily, there is M&M tire on other side of the street. I was able to get my car to them. And they fixed the brakes and get the car inspected same day for 200$ in total. I would never go to Firestone again. They need work s ethics and honesty with their customers. I add the comment because I noticed there was another person on the comments having same issue with them. It is good to alert other people.

We left a work vehicle for service and it was broken into with items stolen. The staff took no responsibility and said this was our fault for leaving the vehicle with them. There are no cameras or lights at this location - wish we would have known this ahead of time and can help others to avoid our mistake.

Justin went above and beyond to fix my tire with a screw in it just before closing time and stayed late to get it finished, so I can make it 600 miles home. And was kind the whole time can t beat emergency service with a smile.

They failed my car for multiple problems so I took it to another place for a second opinion and they found nothing wrong and passed it. I have no idea what happened to this place, it used to be okay but I'll never go back.

I was traveling from NJ on 7/2/23 at 1pm and had a blowout. I called a few places in the area for a tire but since it was a holiday weekend, no one had time or answered the phone. I spoke with Brooklyn and she was very polite and helpful. Thankful for her great customer service and conversation while I waited to have my tire installed. Thank God for Angel's!

This place is good for very basic procedures like an oil change. However, do NOT consider getting your car inspected here or some other procedure where the mechanics are quoting you for "damage" your car might have. They failed my car on a state inspection and quoted me over $1500 in repairs in order for it to pass and when I brought it elsewhere to confirm I only needed my brakes changed. I no longer trust the employees here which is a shame since I have been using their services for over 4 years now.Service: Oil change

I have come here in the past for repairs and work, and I still return to this day. They are friendly and knowledgeable. Parking lot can get a little packed. Fair priced for a mechanic in the Blacksburg area. I was able to make an appointment online and then they contacted me to confirm appointment. Hours are very convenient.

While we have been going here for over 5 years, the service and capabilities of this location have declined unfortunately. We needed a brake flush and check on our system after an accidental fluid mishap (put wrong fluid in brake system). The website says this location offers brake services. The technician clarified they could not do brake flushes or replacements.Further, they informed us we would need a full brake replacement (thousands of dollars) and upon visiting the Roanoke Firestone we were informed our system was completely fine and just needed a flush. Nothing was damaged.This is not our first run in with quotes for unnecessary repairs or incompetence on the behalf of the employees at the Cburg location. I recommend taking the drive to Roanoke for trustworthy service.

My sons first week at VT and the engine under guard came loose hitting a bump. He took it to Firestone and they took care of it for no charge on the same day. Very much appreciated and thanks to the tech Eric for taking care of him!
