These are truly nice and genuine guys. I initially started going there because they offered free air. (Who has quarters for those other machines anyways?) Now I get all my gas and general car service needs fulfilled here. With so many crooks out there this place is a breath of fresh air.

I've been coming to this car shop multiple times, and every visit has been a breeze. What I really appreciate is how well-organized they are, and the staff are super friendly. You can just drop off your car, and they'll give you a call when it's good to go. It's a time-saver for sure.

I ve been bringing my car to Mustapha for years. He is honest, their prices are fair and the service here is exceptional. He makes me feel like family and is always so kind. I would definitely recommend!!

Mostafa owner charge me for two diagnostic that were false because he actually never did them. He wasn t able to get to the car and I was in a hurry so he just send me out telling me my car was a messed. Took the car the following date to a dealer service dept and nothing was wrong with car. On top of that his mechanics took my car two bottle is medication. Do not trust this people.

"Caveat Emptor is Latin for let the buyer beware. I purchased fuel last night now I have an extra charge from this Shell gas station. Two additional charges of $1.00 each. It appears that the price the sign says is not what they take from your card. Prefer to drive for an additional 10 minutes to the Exxon for a better fuel deal and where they don't STEAL $2.00 for using your card.

Very disappointed. I called on Monday for an estimate for my son's car and said they'll get back with me after giving them the info they needed. Called back again on Tuesday to follow up and Mustafa said he'll make sure he'll call me back that same day. After waiting for a whole week I'm still waiting for a call back. It's ashamed because I've been to this place a few times and always got good service.

I heavily recommend this shop for servicing your auto. Everyone on the staff was friendly and service was expedient.I recently moved from Hawaii so had to do the emissions and safety inspection. I found this location through a coupon in the mail.

Had the dreaded "check engine" light come on suddenly and brought my car in hoping the issue would not be too severe. Did not have an appointment, but they took my car in for a diagnosis. They needed to keep it overnight to sort things out. That was inconvenient, but necessary. But they kept me apprised of things fairly well. The problem was not as severe as I feared and they did not try to sell me repairs that make no sense on a 14 year old car. I appreciate that as much as the actual repair work.

Update - car failed inspection in 2023 due to parking brake. Shop said that it looked like someone had cut the cable. Pinecrest had passed my car for state inspection in 2022 and let me drive for over a year in a car with a faulty parking brake.Last time I went in for an oil change and state inspection, there were a couple of things that happened that didn't sit right with me. First, the shop called about an issue with my parking break that they said would be a 'minor' fix. After a couple of more phone calls from them, the cost of the 'minor' fix kept going up. When I asked for additional information for why the cost and extent of the fix kept going up, Mustafa offered that the additional part and amount would be covered by the shop and he would call me when it was in-stock. This was back in January and as of August writing this review, I haven't heard back and am still unclear if my parking break is in full working condition. Next, I recently got an oil change on the same car at a different shop given this experience and they commented that the oil pan bolt was almost stripped do to previous overtightening (by Pinecrest). While their prices are definitely good, it seems if you catch them during an off day going to this location might not be worth the price.

Have taken both my wife's car and my car here for 4 years. I always know that I am getting quality work, honesty, and the most competitive prices. Mustapha, Mo, Carlos, and the rest of the team are awesome. They are very good at what they do and the place has a family like environment with many repeat customers like me. It is connected to a gas/shell station so this is not going to be as plush a waiting area as a dealership, but you will save half or more of what you'd pay at a dealership and no upselling! Very convenient and safe location, with free coffee, a TV, lots of comfortable chairs, a bathroom, and they have offered me a ride to work and home on several occasions. Free air, good advice on any car questions, and most important keeping my cars maintained safely at bargain prices. Great people. 5 stars all around.

They are incredibly honest! We got stuck with a flat tire in front of this place and really wanted to save some money by switching and repairing it ourselves. These guys weren t stingy about helping us out, and when we did have to have them do it for us because of lug nut key issues, they charged us next to nothing. Definitely going back for my next inspection and repair.

Excellent customer service!!! Fast service with well knowledge mechanics!!! I've been a customer for over 10 years and have referred everyone I know that has any car issues and they were all satisfied. These guys are the best, especially with foreign cars like Mercedes, BMW, Audi, and lots more. I will not let anyone else touch my car except these guys. Not only is the prices are great but workmanship is top notch! If I need major work done, Mustapha Zeid the Manager always put me at ease and let me know everything will be okay. Again, these guys are my family cause they have repaired all of my friends and family vehicles without any issues. I strongly recommend taking your automobile here for any service or repair!!

Highly recommend Pinecrest Shell for all your automotive needs. Honest, reliable, flexible, helpful they work on my Prius, GMC, and Honda Civic. You can trust their advice. They will never try to upsell you anything you don t need. Ask for Mustapha and he will take very good care of you. They treat you like family.

My brother told me to take my truck here because he only has great things to say about them. I went here and had excellent service and everything was completed in a timely manner. They kept me in the loop about everything and even followed up with Me regarding their service. Great place, found our new shop for all of our vehicles.

I am so glad to say I finally have a go to spot to take my cars too.They brought my VW Jetta back to life for a reasonable price after I was quoted about $4k from other mechanics (who even told me my car isn't worth saving). It's been about 2 months and it's running like brand new!I also trust them with my BMW. They've done my oil change, installed my front lip and a new exhaust. They're very accommodating and customer service is top notch. I know I'm in good hands and wouldn't dare take my car back to the dealership or anywhere else.

It s never good news to hear your vehicle needs extensive repairs but talking thru the pros and cons with a mechanic who is invested your safety, well being and repeat business definitely helps with the decision to allow their establishment to conduct the repairs. Though the expense was much higher than anticipated, it was significantly lower than over priced dealerships who do the exact same work. My vehicle was repaired in a timely fashion and the initial problem no longer exists. Great work, I ll be back!

After seeing all the great reviews for this place, I thought I would give them a try. I brought them 2 vehicles, one with a minor problem, and one with a major problem. In both cases they fixed the problem(s) right the first time. They specialize in Mercedes and I even got the car back washed! A much better alternative than the dealer. Their customer service is excellent, and I'm a happy customer. I'll definitely take my vehicles there again.

The quality and competency of the mechanics are excellent. The Manager and owner has always ensured that my car and all of my families cars are serviced in a timely, friendly and professional manner. One of the best things about Pinecrest is their honesty. You can trust that they will only do what is needed and not try to get you to spend money on repairs that are not required. Bob is the lead mechanic who has incredible knowledge on all foreign cars, especially Mercedes and BMWs. My father takes both of his Mercedes there and only there.Eddie B

Pinecrest Shell & Auto Repair: Where It Is YOUR Fault.Went by for a safety inspection and oil change on Saturday, knowing that I had a headlight out. The guy says, "I can't do the oil change, but I can do the inspection. Come back in 30 minutes."When I got back, he says the headlight was a problem. Turns out, the bulb is fine, but the socket is burnt out. So he gives me a temporary permit and tells me to come back Monday. He says they have the part they need in stock, so no problem.When I went back on Monday, it all goes to hell. Moustafa, the owner or manager, starts throwing his employee under the bus. They don't actually have the part, but that's not Moustafa's fault; it's that employee who works on Saturday. Um, okay, well, I guess let's get the part and get this done. No problem, no problem.So, after a two-hour wait, I come back, and what is waiting for me? A bill for $130. Parts and labor for the socket replacement: $68. (Turns out, the bulb was bad, too, but--guess what?--that's not Moustafa's fault; it's that Saturday guy ... you know, Moustafa's employee.) Oil change is another $50, because, of course, they won't honor a coupon I had.I was never given an estimate (see image below). I never signed off on any of this before the work was done. And when I objected to the price, Moustafa got aggressive and very rude. It's not his fault--it's MY fault for not asking questions beforehand.That's the kind of man you are dealing with here. Throws his employees under the bus, nothing is his fault, and if you, the customer have an issue, prepare to be blamed and yelled at. What a despicable individual. No doubt he will respond to this in short order, blaming me again.Stay far away from this place.

6543 Shell has the kindest group of talented people, headed by Mustafa who has a way of making every customer feel special. I honestly feel like when I take my car there it is being taken care of by family. They are very honest in their assessments of what is or isn t needed and have saved me thousands compared to dealer costs. I highly recommend them.

Worst service ever, doesn t know the first thing about repairs. Ball joints, wheel bearings, tires, rocker arms all should be replaced in pairs. Now that one ball joint has been replaced, the other one will go out soon. More ways to get money. Also I made a big mistake in recommending this station. They are good at offering gas and should do this service only.

I cannot fully explain how happy I am about what this shop did for me. I purchased the illuminated door sills for my 2013 Mercedes S550 from a MB dealer and was shocked to find out that there were no instructions included in the box. The dealer price for the install was $780.00 and to my surprise they refused to provide installation when I inquired about it. Even though there was no information listed for the install anywhere, the shop was still able to complete the install for a great price. Those of you who know about this product know how truly difficult it is to install (over 8 hours of labor). I have never had an issue on any vehicle for the almost 10 years I have been using this shop that they were not able to diagnose and fix properly the first time. Best customer service I have ever experienced they truly treat you like family.

Wow! Can't say enough of how GREAT Mustafa and his mechanics are. 98 Cadillac fixed (Cadillac dealer couldn't fin'd part after 4 weeks) fixed at 1/2 the price of Cadillac dealer within a week here, 2013 Chrysler 200 new front tires and struts (rides likes it's brand NEW. Love this place. Only place i take me cars and 2017 Ford Edge also.

This is the only place I will take my car. They are always friendly. Knowledgeable. And do great work. The never try and get you to do things that don t need to be done. I have great trust in the care they put into taking care of your car.

I moved to the area recently and was in need of an auto repair place to get an oil change because I couldn't stand the prices at Jiffy Lube. My friend recommended this place to me and it is really fantastic. They gave me a great deal for the oil change and the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. I took my car back for an emissions inspection last week and it was done in no more than 20 minutes despite the fact that they were very busy that day. You will get fantastic, friendly services here and prices that are very competitive for the area. I cannot recommend it enough!

Keep in mind that the older, negative reviews here were from when this place was run by a previous owner. My review is for the current management. I have been going to this mechanic for over 10 years, since when he was working at another shop, and I will follow him wherever he goes. Mustapha is the most honest and kind person you will ever meet. He and his team always fixes my car issues and the work is guaranteed. He will not rip you off. He will advise you what needs to be fixed (and only if it actually needs to be fixed) versus what can wait. Your safety and satisfaction is always his number 1 priority.

I completely trust Mohammed and his dedicated staff with my vehicles; they always treat me with respect, give me all the details on what repairs are needed and how much they will cost, and get the job done promptly. I recommend them highly!
