what a hidden GEM! never heard of this place until i accidentally stumbled upon it online and decided to give them a call for a quote. Easy to contact and Mohammad(owner) is very responsive. Scheduled appointment dropped car off. Mohammad is a very hardworking and honest man, which is hard to come by now a days when it comes to mechanics in auto repair. He takes time to literally show you right there what the problem is, and how he can fix it. Got the car back and its working wonderfully! Prices here are GOOD, he even gives student discount. This is the first time where I've walked out of a car shop without feeling ripped off. AWESOME AWESOME place, cannot recommend him enough!!!

My fiance and I have taken our cars on several occasions to S K Auto and the owner Mohammad's customer service has been incredible. Unlike all the other auto shops in the area I've been to, we have never felt like he was inventing problems with our cars to make a buck. In fact, it has always been the opposite -- he has gone out of his way to explain the issues and show us the problems, going so far as to actually show us the removed damaged parts after the work was completed. We have gotten estimates from other shops in the area for the same work and Mohammad's prices have always beaten the competition. Five stars!

Never heard of SK Auto until a few days ago. They did a radiator removal/install for me. I was very hesitant at first after reading the negative reviews.What I can say is this, I am extremely impressed by the service I received from there. Mohammed, the owner, was very knowledgeable. He was able to explain the entire process, start to finish. There was a minor issue, he called me immediately to see what I wanted done. When I went to pick up the van, he took extra time to show me everything done, to include having the car run for a few minutes and taking time to show me all the spots under the hood coolant could leak and there were no leaks.The only negative thing I have to say, the first time you go, SK Auto can be hard to find due to the design of the buildings there. As you pull in, go straight ahead down the middle road area, its on the left about half way down.If you find yourself in need of a mechanic, call SK Auto. If your experience is anything like mine, you will be very pleased.

This is a great shop. I finally found the trusted mechanic to bring my vehicles. Muhammad clearly articulates what needs to be done. No upcharge on parts. Very reasonable labor rate. They can do it all. Chris is also an experienced mechanic that has seen it all.

It is tough in the Washington, D.C. area to find a good mechanic. I recently found myself in the need of new brake pads and rotors on all four wheels of my car and was reminded of this when I visited a few area shops. Each shop either quoted me an astronomically high rate, gave me shifty details when I asked them about what parts they would use, or both. Mohammad at SK auto repair was different. He offered me direct, fair pricing, and was very transparent about his work (he even showed me the new brakes and rotors, as well as the condition of the old ones). My brakes were in poor condition (I was aware of this, as my brake pedal felt like a machine gun when I came to a hard stop) and proved more difficult than average to repair since I waited so long to have the work done. Mohammad didn t try to use this as a reason to try to increase the bill, and completed the work the same day I brought the car to him. I was so happy with the job that I brought my other car in that same day to have work done on it as well.

They are worse than anything I can imagine. I told them that I have stripped bolts on my starter, the quoted me a price to replace it ..... when done, they asked for double. I negotiated a little lower price and left. 2 days later, my jeep wouldn't start so I got under the jeep to see if the starter was installed properly. The ground wire was all loose and the positive wire seemed like it was just hand tightened. What kind of people are they? I can see themy just taking advantage of unknowable people. LOL, I am knowledge with cars and I still got taken for....

I brought my car in and Mohammed serviced it immediately!! Taking care of all the issues in a timely manner and gave me a great price. I will defiantely be back for future work and would recommend him to family and friends.

i highly recommend SK repair. the work is reliable and the rates are very reasonable. in addition i found the staff extraordinarily polite, honest, and hardworking. if they had a bad review i think it must be due to a problem with the reviewer not the shop

Did the Amazon service thing for my headlight assembly and it went very smoothly. Mohamed was very professional and even offered military discount. Highly recommended.

Mechanic kicked me out of the stop, told me my car had water in the trunk and forced me to pay $20 extra to take out the water, or else just pay $40 and he doesn't finish installing the battery. He forced up-sold me in the middle of the job.

Extremely bad! They dont know what they are doing and they never tell you they dont know! Never trust here! Do not fall their social media baits like amazon installation.
