Went to the Pep boys after calling the night before. I called at 530 and could have been there within a minute, but they said to come back in the morning I order to help me better. So I agreed and they said they opened at 8:00 am. I arrived at 7:52 and waited until 8:00. Doors were still locked, then proceeded to wait until 8:10 and still no one in site. I could wait any longer as it was an emergency and now I drove to there competitor.

I had new tires balanced and mounted at Pep Boys in Alexandria. Service was great, the tires look great on my Durango. Happy was the service member I worked with and he was helpful. Looking forward to working with him again.

Absolute life savers! Stranded in Alexandria 2 hours from home with 2 flats. Insurance towed it over while I finished up my job. An hour later and it was already done!! Mr. Happy got me squared away and back on the road in no time. 10/10 would get stranded here again knowing this Pep Boys will take care of you

Called about 1hr before closing for an emergency repair. Happy, the attendance at the front desk, accurately priced my service over the phone, and had my information collected in no time.The service techs completed my repair 30 minutes ahead of the quoted time.First time visiting this location, 10/10 experience.Thank you Happy and the Pep Boys team.

Bought some tires from Tire Rack and chose Pep Boys as the installer since they were closest. Great service!! I had new lug nuts that I was hadn't had time to put on, and they swapped those out too, no questions asked. Only negative was the guy in front of me took the last non-decaf K-cup, but I'm not holding it against anyone

I purchased tires here not too long ago and stopped in today for a tire rotation. They got me right in and done! Very pleasant staff, professional and courteous. I am happy to do business here and will return!

My tire went flat on my way to a meeting. I searched for a tire place that would give me a same day appt for over an hour. Connor gave me a same day appt, allowed me to send the car via tow truck and even went to another store to get my tires when the ones I wanted weren't there. He kept me updated on the status and even finished my service sooner than expected. I will be returning to Pep Boys Hybla Valley for new tires, alignment, and other services. Great service, great experience.

Mr Happy & Mr Khan are VERY PROFESSIONAL and Courteous.I was able to bring in my vehicle on 1/1/2024 ( REMARKABLE THAN ANY SERVICE I EVER ENCOUNTERED) .But because husband wanted vehicle parts installed by personal friend-I had to pick up LandRover to bring back home for service.I give this location 20 s for OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND PROFESSIONALISM.

I am very pleased at the service by the manager and technician. The manager was very helpful in giving all the information that is related to my maintenance work. He was very busy man handling many customers and so all leaving happy. The company is lucky to have such manager.I will recommend anyone to this facility.Thank you manager!!!!

I came in to have two new tires mounted and also decided to get free brake check. It turned out I needed to replace brake pads and rotors as well. To rounded out, I had oil and filter change. The service provided was excellent at a reasonable price. I did not feel being pressured to get all the work done because I personally inspected and verified the work was necessary. I was very pleased with the quality work performed by Winston who is very knowledgeable and detailed-oriented. Thanks so much, Winston! Hope to see ya on next service.

I arrived to my appointment 1/2 early to have 4 tires put on my car. 2 1/2 hours later and I'm still here waiting. I understand being short on help, but you should schedule fewer appointments if you can't handle the customer flow.

This is the most pitiful excuse for a auto service shop. They left my car out front of the building after I told them I could not make it to pick it up before they closed and my car got towed because they did not leave a permit in the window. And they refused to reimburse me for the $260 I had to pay the tow company. This place is garbage I will make sure to spread the word! You guys should go out of business. Pitiful excuse and the work was subpar.

My appointment for an alignment was for 9am on Friday. I thought I could wait and they'd take care of it. No. Drop off service only as I was repeatedly told that they only have one bay available for alignments. Ok. My car was ready at 2:15pm. I didn't look at all the paperwork on the alignment prior to leaving. When I got home, I noticed that the rear tires were still misaligned based on the computer-generated results. I took it back on Monday. The rep behind the counter said they'd recheck the alignment. I asked when is the best time to drop it off. He said to bring it by on Wed, at 9AM, which was today. I was there promptly at 9AM and he said (again) they only have one bay yada yada yada. I said ok and to please do it asap as I had a meeting in the afternoon. I never got a call. I went to the shop at 5:30pm knowing that they close at 6pm. When I arrived, the rep (same rep throughout my experiences here) said they had it back now working on it. I inferred that they had just taken it back. At 6:10pm, the rep said that they couldn't fix it and suggested I take it to Pep Boys in Annandale or I could get a refund. I chose a refund. When I looked at the latest computer-generated alignment results, the alignment on the back wheels was even worse. Okay -- Lesson learned. I will never take my car to Pep Boys again. I'm totally annoyed that they held my car for almost 2 solid days (Monday and again on the following Wednesday) and each time, I had an expectation (because i had a 9AM "appointment" each time) that I'd get my car within an hour or so of this time. The fact that they couldn't do the alignment properly or offer an explanation as to why they couldn't is unbelievable.I talked to the rep about my biggest concern, that my time was wasted when the website allowed me to make a 9AM appointment--that's what I expected. He said it was a problem with the website and that all alignments are drop off only.

My appointment was at 8 they didn't take my car untill 10 and it's been 30 min since they took it and I've yet to see my car. No one has kept me updated, no one's is telling me what's going on this place is horrible. You might as well not make an appointment cause they're just Gunna take walk-ins who've come in after you before you anyway so why make the appointment? Also why promise express service when I've been waiting here for almost 3 hours just to get TWO NEW TIRES

Went in to get an oil change, and nobody is really concerned with customer service and taking care of customers. Drove right down the street to NTB , and was in and out within 45 minutes with great service.

Terrible service I paid for the lifetime tire alignment two years ago and have made appointments 3 times to align the tires again and when I got to the store they always say the machine doesn't work

Hybla Valley Store stayed open later to get my truck fitted with new tires when they didn t have to. Could have closed and had me come back in the morning but the manager and mechanic both worked to get it completed.

Happy, Winston, and Erol were had outstanding customer service!!!! I felt they were honest and knowledgeable! Moreover, I definitely will get my car fixed here. I went in with the intention to just get me car inspected here! Now I am coming as a permanent customer and I will refer folks!!! Awesome experience! Tires ordered from TireRack to be installed at PepBoys. They had the best prices, and were able to accomplish the tire service. Unfortunately they chipped the powdercoat in all 4 wheels, and the lugs were torqued to over 150 lb-ft, when the specification for the car is 80 lb-ft. Also, they did not set the air pressures properly, so the tpms system freaked out on the way home. These are all simple items that should be easy to not mess up.

We went to five places in Alexandria trying to get a battery, and each place told us something different. However, Happy was so kind and helpful at Pep Boys. Would highly recommend this location to anyone.

Even with an apt, changing two tires took four hours. I was charged on the wrong bill so now I have to deal with my bank to correct their mistake. The mechanic broke my car and now have to take it to another shop because they didn't know what was wrong and how to fix it.UPDATE: It's been 2 weeks since your reply PepBoys. Still haven't heard from your "Field Leadership Team". Replying publicly to a Google review to look proactive is one thing, but not following up to actually do anything about it.....well.....UPDATE: It's been 6 weeks since your reply PepBoys. Still haven't heard from your "Field Leadership Team". Great response to try and fix the problem.....

I wouldn't go anywhere other than Pep Boys for tire service. The associate Happy was tremendous. The tires we ordered could not get here for a week and he was able to find us much better tires at about the same price. In and out and fantastic customer service. Thank you Happy and PepBoys!

Very good customer service! Happy really helped me and was very patient. This was the third shop I went to for a simple wheel alignment in a span of days and they got the job done. The other shops were not honest in what work needed to be done but this Pep Boys helped me understand what actually needed to be done on my visit. I highly recommend this place!

THIS PLACE WAS A COMPLETE WAIST OF TIME! I previously made an early morning APPOINTMENT. So I left work and planned to go back. My engine light was on, I knew I needed a tune-up and asked for a tune-up. The guy at the front desk kept telling me they have to charge an $100.00 fee to check why my engine light was on. I agreed to just get the process started. I sat there for almost 3 hours and watched other mechanics take other cars back and other individuals leave out with their cars. I went up to the front desk and asked the guy when would someone start on my car he states yours is going back now I wait for about 30 more minutes until I was the last one left waiting. I look to see my car still sitting in the same place as before. I asked the guy at the front desk again when would someone start on my car. Once again he says yours is going back now . Until I see him attempt to take my car back on his own. At that point, I explained to him I had an appointment and asked for my key back. He had absolutely no excuse. The very next day, I went to a reputable shop for a TUNE UP and I m so glad I did. I was not overcharged for anything I didn t need, they were honest and I was in and out at a reasonable time.

this place sucks. they parked it in a customer spot overnight, didn t leave a customer sticker in the window, car got towed & they refused to cover the expenses. terrible customer service
