I came in for an oil change and an engine flush. The staff was professional and had a good sense of humor. They treated my vehicle right and got the work done in a timely manner. They also offered a military discount on their services. Meineke is one of the few trustworthy vehicle maintenance chains out there and I look forward to going back to get other services done on my car and minivan.

If I could leave no stars I would. This isn t even a Meineke branch so I m not sure why the sign is still there. They sold me a cheap tire and didn t even tell me what it was before paying and seeing my vehicle. He tried to tell me that the tire wasn t cheaper anywhere else yet I found it much cheaper online at local retailers, $50 difference. He tried to sell me a used tire for $80. Overall experience I just felt like he was trying to tell me he was giving me a good deal but in reality he didn t at all and up charged me more than anyone else in the are.

Fantastic experience. Shout out to Jackie who works the front desk. Got a full front and back brake replacement from them and they quoted me $300 under what other places wanted to charge me. On top of that they were extremely friendly and accommodating. I am taking my vehicle here for any future needs 100%.Service: Auto brake repairService: Auto brake repair

LET'S TALK ABOUT QUALITY SERVICE! This is the only place I have ever gotten my car fixed before and now that I have a newer vehicle I plan on remaining a permanent customer. This business is Under New Management and the new management is totally outstanding. They give you a fair price wonderful personality just to name a few of their wonderful qualities. The store has a new friendly look and appeal. You must try it out. They are the best! They explained Everything in great detail to settle your nerves. First class service. Everything was explained and options given. Our Honda CRV had a leak in the power steering line which was fixed and now works perfectly. Everything from greeting me formally (by my last name) when I walked in to pick up the car, to the general good feeling around the store. This will definitely be our go to auto repair business going forward. Definitely recommend.Service: Steering & suspension repair

The Y-pipe piece of my car exhaust was bad and needed replacement. These guys were great, they replaced the part with a new one I provided, in a short period of time, and at a reasonable price. Also, had them inspect my car for other issues. They treated me well, and I recommend them highly.

Very friendly service and I was in and out in 20 minutes which never happens. Omar changed the channel so my kids could be comfortable and offered refreshments which was nice since I am 7 months pregnant. Angel did a wonderful job on my oil change and let me know when to come back. They asked if I would like for them to check my car for anything else and also checked all my fluids and gave me a update on how it was. The lobby was clean and nice decor also will definitely be returning for all of my oil changes and services in the future.

The Manager there by the name of Tee was such a nice person. He really helped me a lot being a customer who does not know much about car details. This had to have been the best experience yet. Honest estimate, professional staff and mechanics. I had diagnostic, brake and rotors replaced in approximately two hours at a reasonable price. Ray the manager is my new best friend. Try them too won t regret it. P.S. They even repaired something that another shop screwed up at no charge. K. I am new to Virginia and intended to go to a different Meineke location, but somehow the Waze application directed me to the Alexandria location, and I am truly glad it did! Even though I did not have an appointment, they were able to take care of my needs quickly.The manager, whose name was "T", was very personable and genuinely nice. He took the time to explain the differences between the two batteries that I had to choose from. He was very attentive to everyone regardless of the level of service that the customer needed. His employees were fast and courteous. As a woman, I never had the feeling that I was being taken advantage of and felt that I got the best care possible. I left there with a smile on my face. ***Updating my rating Last time I was here I had nothing but praises for them. This time not so much. They have a special for an oil change online but the sales rep charged me full price and told me that special ended two weeks ago but he ll be nice and discount some off. So we re completely ignoring what s on YOUR website???Old rating Having my car fixed earlier in the week by another mechanic, I was still experiencing the same issues. I took my car to Meineke, they actually listened to me and correctly figured out the issue. I was able to get the correct part and have my car fixed the same day.

Outstanding Customer Service. Knowledgeable and caring staff. Clean facilities. What else can someone ask for?The people who work at this establishment went above and beyond to not only explain every step of the process, keep me informed of the progress of said repairs but made me feel like the most important customer they had.The best feeling you can have leaving a business is feeling comfortable you weren t taken advantage of and happy not only you chose them, but glad knowing you have a trustworthy place for the future.I am a customer and will be going forward.I say again, What else can you adk for?Service: Brakes

I was pleasantly surprised by the level of professionalism and the excellent customer service I received during a recent visit to get my car ready for a road trip. The staff was honest, professional and provided excellent service. They took me right away even during a computer issue (which was not their fault)) and kept me in the loop. This location is a bit far for me but I will be returning because of the amazing service I received. Many thanks to the staff, especially, the person working through front desk!

The employees were very friendly. The only item I was bummed about was a coupon that drove us to go here in the first place 50% off your next oil change. My wife got this coupon only a couple months ago when we changed the oil on our other vehicle but the servicemember at the front still said it was outdated. He did help out by discounting his original quote but I was still a bit bummed. Overall very fast and efficient I would still return. :)Service: Oil change

Came in for an A/C inspection/charge. During the inspection, T took pictures to show me issues they had found with my car (namely, the WRONG oil filter placed on my vehicle by one of those quick lube places that I'll never frequent again.) T and Miguel the mechanic are both first class. The job ended up being far more expensive than I had hoped (parts needed to be ordered to fix the A/C leak), but A/C in the Virginia summer is nothing to mess with. T was very informative and extremely helpful every step of the way. I'll use this Meineke Car Care Center for all my future car needs. Thanks guys!Services: Auto A/C recharge, Auto A/C replacement

So far so good..I knew my situation was going to be costly and felt vulnerable as I was 600 miles from home.Tee and Miquel are very personable and made me feel like I found the right place. We'll see how it all comes out ! Car is done now and we are picking up now. It was very odd that I was never nervous even knowing from the beginning this was going to be several thousand dollars . TRUST.That's the one word I'd use to describe this place, led by T and his team of professional and kind mechanics. Everyone knows cars need regular service and sometimes that means things are found that are expensive to fix. This management and mechanic team is open and honest about differentiating between what NEEDS changing that day and what you should simply WATCH for. This gives me the peace of mind that when they tell me I need something that could be expensive, I actually NEED it (looking at you, local dealerships!!!)I highly recommend you go check them out and let them take care of you. Added bonus, some people around this area bring some killer cars through here and it's always fun watching these guys work on the nicer rides!

Great service. Fast friendly honest. Every time I have gotten an oil change from other places they have tried to rip me off by saying I needed work done that was not necessary. This place is amazing. They are honest and they really care about your experience. I will never go anywhere else from now on. All my cars will be serviced there.Service: Oil change

I needed urgent service on my Infiniti Q50 and was hesitant visiting this location since I usually go to the dealership but I went due to the reviews. When I tell you that the staff here went above and beyond to provide the services I needed, it is not embellishment. T and Ray told me exactly what I needed (on both visits), explained pricing, and showed me exactly what was wrong. They are honest, polite, helpful, and understand urgency. They provided me with a timeframe and finished the job before what I expected. Did I mention they were honest and transparent? Their location is clean and sanitized and though I didn't wait at the location, they offered me tea and coffee. Forget the dealership! They've won me over. If you're hesitant, don't be. I drove from La Plata, MD to visit them... twice!To T, Ray, and the staff - Thank you! I wish you all a Happy New Year and many blessings!

I called Friday needing my breaks replaced before going out of town that afternoon. They stated if I rushed to get there I would be able to get the job completed in time.Once I got there they stated they weren t able to get it done by my time restraints ( by one) but would be able to get them done by the end of the day. Okay, fine. They quoted us just over 600$, awesome.They called at 340 stating they ordered the wrong parts, the car wasn t started on yet, and oh by the way, it s an additional 350$!At this point it s way too late to take my car elsewhere and I have no choice but to proceed.Had I known it was going to be just under 1000 and that it wouldn t be completed until much later than expected I would have absolutely gone elsewhere.just to make matters worse, when I got in the car at pick up, there was grease on inside of the door and steering wheel.Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair

I ve been charged for $ 82.00 for oil change minus $ 20 coupon. That s the highest bill I paid for an oil change. I paid a total of $62.00. I have my brake inspected and their estimate is over $ 900.00, so I didn t get the brake fix. I went somewhere else instead and have my brake done for just a little over $ 300.00. My advise, ask first how much they charge so you won t be surprised. I will definitely not even consider going back there for all my car needs.Service: Oil change

Beyond exceptional care. The professionalism, courtesy, and care exhibited by the team at this location has sold me on coming back for future work. From explaining the issues, accommodating my request to get stuff out of the car mid-repair, and not trying to up-sell me as other places have done, my entire experience was enjoyable. Friendly, intelligent and skilled. My experience with Omar and Kris, his lead tech, was positive from start to finish. I'd traveled to Alexandria from Manassas to redeem a coupon for an oil change. When I asked the cost for a tire rotation, Omar immediately announced that the service was included! His honesty is humbling. I'd encountered a diametrically opposed experience earlier in the day when attempting to redeem a different coupon at one of the Sterling Va Meineke shops. My car is new and it didn't occur to me, when I was shopping for service, that my car requires synthetic oil. The counter guy pointed this out when rejecting my coupon for a standard oil change. My bad for not consulting my owner's manual, but his bad for just turning his back on me without even trying to find a way to get my business. Bad experience in Sterling. Great experience in Alexandria.Omar is a keeper!Service: Oil change

I received an oil change , with a recommendation for a synthetic oil for my car (high mileage), as well as a check on my tires. They found a tire that showed dry rot on the inner side which I had not, and could not have seen. They ordered me a new tire. Excellent professionalism.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I had a lovely experience here ! They were quick and I was in and out. No long wait times and no overbooking . The manager was so helpful and friendly . The staff was helpful and gave all needed information without me having to ask. Very good experience . for some reason i was hesitant on coming here but i gave it a chance since its up the road from where i live and they were able to attend my vehicle same day. Needed an alternator replaced for my 07 Honda civic and they were able to replace it quick at a reasonable price compared to other shops in the area. i recommend this place if you're local in the richmond hwy area.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance

Awesome service. I took my S class Mercedes in for an oil leak that Mercedes of Alexandria could not find. Not only was the leak found and fixed, the mechanic Mark uncovered a fuel filter malfunction which cost just $40 to fix but was on the way to becoming a bigger issue. Their technology is first class and the waiting room was a great place to relax as I waited. I loved how the owner interacts with everyone who steps on the premise. Now I know they can handle a Mercedes, I will definitely be back.Service: General repairs & maintenance
