I recently bought my first classic, an 83 E21. And honestly have very little knowledge of cars. After reading other reviews I figured I d take it here and get their thoughts on it. Well Gary and his team truly care about their customers! They take their time, do it right, very fair pricing and explained everything they did and why. Walking me around the car and showing me the areas that needed some TLC. As a female, it can be intimidating going to any type of mechanic but i felt comfortable the moment I walked in the door. Can t speak highly enough about them. And my girl is sounding better than ever!

I can't say enough about how honest Gary is and the great advice I received from Martin Motorsports. I will owe him for his great deeds for a long time :). I took my 2014 BMW M550i for some work and Gary printed out some very valuable information on BMW engine recalls for the N63 engine I have. He advised me to hold off on the work I wanted him to do and contact the service manager of a local BMW dealership who could likely help me. I did immediately and within 36 hours, of contacting Gary I was informed by BMW that my engine would be replaced and battery free of charge at the local BMW dealership! Wow! My car had 65k miles on it and BMW is replacing it with a newer modified engine and battery which is about $23k worth of work. I have nobody to thank but Gary and MM for being honest and upfront! In today's society there are few business who would be honest with their customers versus taking the money. I plan to refer anyone to Gary who needs a good mechanic with an honest opinion.

My experience with Martin Motorsports was terrible. The owner was full of excuses, and labor hours for my car were not discussed upfront until it s already done and I overpaid. I would not recommend anyone to use their services.

Gary and his team do great work and are very fair and upfront with you. I took my beloved e90 M3 there because it was a sick puppy. Gary and his team quickly identified the issue, called me up and explained to me why I was experiencing power loss. After putting it all back together I picked up the car and Gary and I took a test drive. It went from being a sick puppy to running like a scalded dog! Also, Gary identified another concern that needs attention. I'll be back :)Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair

I've been going to Gary Martin's shop for several years. He is a great guy. My car has been well taken care of. Excellent work. Gary knows everything that need to be known about BMW's. My 99 M3 runs great thanks to Gary and his crew.

I ve been taking my car to Gary Martin for years. A friend recommended him for BMW expertise. He won my lifetime business the day he fixed my check engine light with a $10 gas cap change (the BMW dealership quoted me $2000 to fix.) Super nice team and great work.

The other reviews don't lie. Gary Martin is as real as they get. This guy is super upfront and possesses a load of knowledge and real world application when it comes to our BMW's. I was pressed on getting a bunch of work done to my E36; however, Gary stopped me halfway and advised me to only do what the car actually needed. I appreciated his honesty and advice on how to stagger out my car repairs so I don't find myself going broke. He's the most reliable and the most experienced BMW tech in the DMV area. I've been to other German shops that charge less, but I walk out of the shop feeling skeptical and my skepticism is justified after a few weeks when my car falls apart again. Gary and his team have a very specific knowledge of the in-and-out's of our BMW's, including all the quirks and finicky details about the specific models (i.e. E36 has known VANOS issues, cooling system issues, etc.). This is the only shop I've dealt with that will guarantee it's work without blinking. After 4 years of searching, I finally find a guy I can trust with my E36 and E39. You can't put a price on these classic cars anymore. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking your BMW to Gary Martin for repair/maintenance/long-term planning. You can't go wrong with this guy.

Horrible customer service.I called in to a get a quote based off what BMW recommended due to a check engine light being on. The guy on the phone was so rude. We couldn't even have a conversation without him cutting me off and making me feel that I did something wrong. Like relax, I'm just going based off what they listed as repairs. Why are you so upset over me asking a question. Isn't your job to help me out?

hands down the most drama and worst service I've received from any business. Gary Martin may have been a good driver at one point in his life, but he is a total mess and has been sued several times. be warned.

The NOVA area's best when it comes to BMWs. I have taken my antique BMW e30 to him and received excellent service both customer wise and mechanically. I have also taken my Subaru BRZ there for service as well and the same expertise have been applied. Roger is excellent as well.

These guys know what they're doing. If you have a performance BMW that you care about, look no further. Fixed my guibo issues quickly and properly. This is the only place I will go for difficult jobs.

I brought my F82 M4 to Gary as I have had him work on it in the past. I'm pleased with how well and how fast he got my car taken care of. Gary is also a pleasure to speak with when it comes to cars and other experiences. It goes without saying that I will be recommending Martin Motorsports to friends and family. My cars will be taken to Gary/John/Martin Motorsports from now on.
