DO NOT GO HERE! I don't typically leave negative reviews but the service here was terrible. They say you can get your oil changed in 10 minutes. When I arrived there was no line and they took my car immediately. It took 55 minutes for them to do the oil change. Additionally, it was supposed to cost about $78 but when I went to pay they charged me $135 and wouldn't explain the increased costs. I specified I didn't want any additional services and they couldn't justify the costs. Also, the workers were unable to reset my oil light. They told me to come back later in the week when a more experienced technician was in. They didn't even give me a discount for this. Overall horrible experience. Go to any other drive through oil service.

I usually go here for oil change and these guys have been consistently excellent. My last job was for a brake change and I also had a stripped bolt on the brake caliper. Most places would have charged me extra for it. These guys went above and beyond. Didn't charge me any extras and pointed out to me a problem that most mechanics wouldn't even notice. They fixed the problem before it caused a bigger problem. I appreciate the honesty of the master mechanic (owner) as well as his attention to detail. Can't go wrong with this place. These guys are fast, efficient and affordable.

I went here again in (LUBE IT) to do Tire rotation because I wanted to balance the tire and my car it has low tire pressure and they removed the tire valve caps on my car and they didn t put it back. My concern is as an owner car i want my tire caps back the same i have before. But they don t give me the same tires caps and also i told them I just want to do tire rotation and nothing more but the guy come to the office and told to the cashier to change my cabin filter and air filter on my car i can t say NO because they already removed it. This is not my first time happen when i went there auto repair shop.

I have been going to lube it for probably 15 years and 3 different cars, and I will keep going back (even though I live in DC)! They are knowledgeable, honest, and fast, and they are appreciative of loyal customers. They always check out the vehicle and tell me what services are needed now and what can wait. I knew I was due for significant work on my 10yr old Jeep Grand Cherokee: oil change, transmission/ differential service, front and rear brakes. They made sure that I understood what each would entail and what it would cost up front, and even called me to give me an update on the work and clarification on cost for approval, then they gave me a loyalty discount since I was having so many services done that day. These are such warm, hard working people - I love going here and letting them care for the vehicle that keeps me and my family safe!

Super nice place to get a really fast oil change. All the staff here are professional and very cooperative. Super emphasis on safety as well. Nice little seating area that is air conditioned while you wait for your oil change. It is ideally located as well right off the road so no winding streets or hidden locations to find the place. Do look for coupons online as you can save plenty of the price. Would definitely come here again

They are friendly and quick. Pull up your car/truck get you in and out in 10-15min. Mom brought her own oil and filter. They charged for labor $25. Always a wonderful experience! Thanks guys, we'll be back.

Been coming here for 20 years. They tried to claim my air filter was dirty by showing me a filter for another car. Who knows how many times this happens.Also the 15 point Full Service sign is wrong. They do not complete all 15 points. The quality of service this place has gone down.

Honestly I have been coming here for years and since Cookie has left it has gone down hill. Brought my car back after Carlos said I would get a free oil change because they didn't do a full service brought it back and they didn't change my oil just stuck the sticker. The lady at the front is more worried about her looks then actually working. No English at all and barely understands what you are saying!

I came in today to get an oil change as I've been out of state for several months and and needed to have my car serviced . I got the regular oil change with the $5 upgrade to top off my fluids and vacuum my car. The guy who took my car didn't speak much english. Not even enough time be conversational. So it was hard to let him know about some issues I wanted him to look at. The lady who helped me check in was friendly. I misplaced my debit card and they let me run to the bank and get cash to pay them which I was really thankful for.Another guy who let me know about my oil being low who could speak more English thank me for coming back. I was just happy to find a neighborhood spot to get good service.

First time here. Initially I was just planning on doing an oil change and having my car check for a long drive. I mentioned an issue with my aftermarket rims / missing wheel lock key. The lug nuts are an awkward size and its been hard to find anything else that could fit properly on those rims. Every other shop would tell me to find a replacement but could not help in any other way. The technician here tackled this problem with a "we have an issue" mindset instead of a "you have an issue" one. Went out of his way with his team to eventually track down and find a solution for me. Not one unnecessary thing was done or recommended. Everything else that was brought up was a known problem I was planning on taking care of. Honest hardworking guys that go the extra mile. 10/10 customer service and very competitive prices.

Most auto services charge around $200 just for checking codes on a check engine light, Only $60 here and in less than half an hour for results.

The people were very nice at the business but I don't trust them. I went in for an oil change and they told me I needed a transmission flush. I was suspicious of that because I had done that at my 60,000 care and the car only had 5000 more miles. But what really got me was when they told me I needed new front brake pads and rotor. They had told me the same thing last time I was there and I took it to my Honda dealer and had it done. That was only 6 months ago and I only have about 3000 miles on the brakes.Service: Oil change

I changed my car s oil once there and the service was 10/10. I liked the guys and it was so good! I recommended this place to so many of my friends. Lately, I had a problem in my ABS sensor. I took the car there, and one of the employees started working on it. He obviously knew what the problem was (as I said they are very professional). He showed me that the sensor cable was cut and that it needed to be replaced. I agreed on the replacement price which was $140 and he asked me to come after 5 hours. I came back and the car worked perfectly. Few days after that, the abs problem came back and I took it to another mechanic, who showed me what the issue was. THE SAME ABS SONSOR WAS THERE, AND THE LUBE IT EMPLOYEE JUST TAPED THE CUT CABLE AND NEVER REPLACED IT. It s so frustrating, and I def can t trust this place after that.

Fantastic experience! I felt welcome and taken care of. All charges were explained to me, as well as preventive maintenance. They did an oil change, vacuumed my carpets, and checked various fluids, etc. for safety measures. All of this was done efficiently and for a very reasonable price.I will be returning to take care of these things in the future. I'm so glad I found a fantastic auto care so close to me!

Reasonably priced and never had to wait too long. Last visit AC wasn't working, they did a flush and refill, plus oil change (for $180) in 30 minutes. Terrific lady has worked the desk for years, always look forward to passing the time with her.

FRAUD ALERT!!!! STAY AS FAR AS POSSIBLE!!!!I would give NEGATIVE SCORE for their maintenance serviceYou said you CAN do tire rotation. But my car can't move an Inch and make horrible noise after you did it!I forgive you for your poor knowledge, and just let you put them back. How DARE you still charge me for the service of tire rotation???Not do anything, Damage my car, Be a Jerk, Charge me for your own failure, and Blame me for not reading manufacture manual???By the way, I bet if you ask them to go to Mars, they will say OK. Because they don't care whether they can finish the job or not, they only care charging you for the "labor".Services: Tires, Body & Trim

I am a recent college grad and just moved to Alexandria for a job that fell through at the last minute. As you probably can assume money is extremely tight. Between balancing my student loans, trying to find a steady job, and other living expenses, maintenance on my car has fallen to the way side just a little. I knew my 2004 Honda Civic was due for an oil change by the way she was making some noises at me it seemed like she was moaning to get looked at. I read the reviews about Lube-It and I decided to take a chance there. I mostly liked the fact that it was supposed to be an in and out service with minimal down time.I reluctantly drove over there because I wasn t exactly sure what I was getting into and I m new in town. I was honestly in and out of there in 20 minutes with an oil change. It was really reasonably priced and they even did some extra services I wasn t expecting (like wiping down my dash). I was out the door and on to my next errand. Later that night I forgot I was even there because it was literally such a quick stop during my day. Will come here again for the quick and easy service.

I have been going there for years. There's a new crowd of employees. They improperlyimproperly flushed my radiator which is made me take it to my mechanic to be fixed. The workers took forever horsing around with the front office person.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I was waved right in when I pulled up and they changed my oil in minutes. Get the full service oil change as they check fluids and vacuum the car too. They told me my coolant tank was really low and they filled it right up. The interior looked great. They did a really great job with no nonsense.

This the second time I've been to this garage and the second time was as good as the first. This is easily the most painless place I've ever used for an oil change in my 20 years of living in VA.The employees are friendly and very efficient. They began working on my car within minutes of my arrival and the whole operation was done within 15 minutes. The place is very clean, including the waiting room.The best thing is that I was out the door for 35 bucks...and that included the canister style oil filter that my car requires. Some of the other places I've been to in the past have charged me twice that amount because of this "special" filter. I've found my regular oil change place.

Over one $100 for an oil change. And it includes nothing else at this price. I added my own coolent and changed my air filter for $32. Also, the attitudes of the men who work there are impatient and fail at being courteous. I don't go back. However, I want to thank my service man for alerting me to things needing to be done to my vehicle.

You guys are the best. Starting from the front desk with Cookie, and Yesli. What friendly and helpful ladies. And the technicians are always topnotch terrific.Our most recent experience...at another shop closer to our current address, we were told that we needed a fishy-amount of work. We went back "home" to your shop on Mt Vernon Ave to confirm this and Carlos kindly showed us the actual truth. Thank you Carlos. You saved the day. He replaced the brake pads, changed the oil and rotated the tires. The car is running beautifully. You're truly a good guy.

First, the review proved by Peter G. fails to note that his coupon was two years old, or that he was rude to an old woman working the desk. This is my first visit to Lube It and the only bad part was that customer. The services here are quick and fairly priced. Try to come another auto service place with a 4-star rating! They earned every one of those stars and one extra with me today!
