Such an amazing place! Came in to get some keys made for work and was greeted by the sweetest co-woofers! Chowder and Lucy. Thanks for making a work errand fun! Had me in and out in 5 minutes!

I came to Keyway after trying 4 different locksmiths in DC, and I had by far the best, most efficient experience here. They were professional, helpful, and kind! I cant recommend them enough!! Plus they have a puppy, Chowder, to keep you company while you wait! If I could give them 6 stars I would.

I was referred to keyway by a friend. I needed a 4 button key fob replaced for my car. The service was excellent and was only around 25% of that which the car dealer would have charged me. They did it within 1:45 including programming a new key and cutting a new mechanical key. I highly recommend this place.

I purchased a replacement key fob for my 2011 Dodge Journey on eBay. While in Alexandria, I found KeyWay lock service. They were able to program my key fob and cut a replacement key from the blank enclosed within the fob. Their service was quick and efficient. What a great find!

Great experience! We bought a new car and the dealership setup Keyway Lock Service to program us a second key. Keyway called to give me a heads up on their tech s arrival time and Ahmad was very friendly and efficient with getting our second key programmed.

Had to give them a call because my car battery was dead and the key in the remote was uncut, so I literally couldn t get in my car. Ahmad came and was extremely helpful. Didn t take long at all and was sympathetic to my situation. Will call them again if anything comes up.

Called in the phone and they were extremely friendly. Went in with an original key blank for a vintage 1967 VW and they cut the key for me while I waited. Highly recommended, friendly and professional!

Phenomenal staff at Keyway! I came in to reprogram my Altima key fob that began reading "incorrect key ID" when attempting to start the car. I was in and out with a working fob in less than 15 min. They are priced very reasonably, much cheaper than what the dealership will charge you. Everyone was very friendly and attentive while I waited for my car.

Brought in my 1992 Camry, which needed a new key for the door because the old (not an original and was probably a copy of a copy of a copy) was bent and no one at the hardware store I tried could cut a key from it to make a spare. Mo did a great job, making me two new keys after extra effort and lots of patience!

The buttons on my two key fobs were finicky. I called ahead and they told me to come right in. When I arrived, they immediately got to work on my fobs. I was in and out in under 15 minutes and my fobs are as good as new. All staff were professional, friendly, helpful, and very kind. I recommend without reservations and will definitely be coming back for any future needs!! Tell all your friends!! Can't rave about them enough!!

2 thumbs up (or keyfobs) for me.... Keyway came to my house in Columbia, MD (HoCo not listed on their website), and took <15 mins to give me a fully functional key fob. Price was acceptable as I'm not able to program a single key. I've added Keyway to my contacts list as key fobs are a fraction of all they can handle.

Today Jan.19, 2024 Chad from Keyway sent technician Tommy to duplicate a key and remote for my 2024 GMC AT4. Note: this was not an emergency call but...Tommy arrived in a SNOW STORM of 6" at the time of his arrival. Tommy's demeanor and additude was exceptional and successfully duplicated a remote for my truck. Sooo...if in need of locksmith services I highly recommend giving Keyway services an opportunity to serve your needs.

I had locked my keys in my trunk and had no way to open the trunk do to a broken trunk release in the cab of the car. They made a copy from scratch and got me in and out in 20 minutes. They were very polite and courteous. I would highly recommend using them for any of your locksmithing needs!

My experience with them was 100% awesome I came in they was friendly and very welcoming. I had to get a key programmed and cut for a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta. They was knowledgeable about it and told me they couldn t do it because of a certain type of chip I have in my remote. So they was nice enough to put my old key into a new case free of charge. I really appreciate that. They gave me a fair price to come back and get my new key installed. I definitely recommend going to them. I will be going back to them soon. I forgot the two guys name I think one was name Mo and I don t remember the other, but thank you.

I was in need of making a couple copies for my business keys. I'm so glad I found Keyway Lock Service in Alexandria. They made a few keys for me in literally no time. They were nice and friendly. I'll definitely go back next time I need any locks or keys replaced or fixed. I surely recommend them. Thank you guys!!

These people do such a great job! They re very professional, polite but also generous. I walked in wanting to make a few copies for my business keys and they refused to get paid. Everyone should be supporting as you can see they re very honest people.
