This place is under new management and is now a great garage! My wife's 10 year old SUV needed a valve cover gasket replaced and in a hurry. I only had one day off to get it fixed and these guys did it. The mechanic stayed with the car all day, special ordered the part, and gave me a ride to and from my house. They also gave me a military discount, you don't see that a lot these days. The shop looked very clean and so did the lobby. They also had a small play area for kids and a TV. My car needed so much work that they stayed after hours to finish the job. When they picked me up they also informed me that my intake system needed cleaning and that I should get that done as soon as I can. I was waiting for an up sale but to my surprise, no up sale . Just straight up information. At the end of my service I was highly impressed. I defiantly plan on coming back next time I need any service done on my wife's car... Like the intake system.By the way, make sure to ask for Sunny, he's the owner and super nice guy. The front desk guy, Justin was also really easy going, he was the mechanic that worked on my SUV. Most mechanics won't really talk to the customer or just try to hand you off, Justin was ready to get the job done and help me out.If you need a place to work on your car and a fair price, go with these guys. The car runs great and I got a warranty with the service. I found my new shop.

Rudy and his team of mechanics consistently provide quality service that keeps my car up and running. From oil changes, to brake jobs, and parts replacement, this garage is my one stop shop for car service.

I can't elaborate enough how much this place means to me. My husband and I are newish to the area and have taken each of our cars a few times. They are so incredibly forward and upfront about what services you need/ don't need, etc. And our cars are always done quickly for an incredibly fair price. They really live up to their name. I can't say 'thank you' enough for providing honest, prompt & quality service. Top of the tops... bless y'all & many thanks.Service: Auto maintenance

I have been taking my cars there for the past 2 years, Why!, They are Honest. Nice people, always give you a fair price. Work is always done in a timely manner, Mechanics Techs. are experienced and knowledgeable and trustworthy.Part prices are fair and explained to you if you desire to know why a part is the price they quote you or labor quotes are explained.Why go to the dealer and pay double the price with no knowledge of what or why they are are emptying your wallet. If your Rich go to the dealer, if you work hard for a buck go to Honest Auto they will be honest with you.

This is by far the best auto repair shop in the area. I can say they truly are honest and care about their customers. A friend of mine highly recommended this shop and I am so happy she did. I came in to get a specific issue with my car fixed and they kept informing me of every step of the process and worked with my budget needs. The owner also was very involved in assuring my satisfaction. I am extremely satisfied with the service and highly recommend Honest 1 Auto Care to any and everyone!!! 5stars If I could give them 100 stars I would!

They did amazing work! They are so kind and great communicators and they stick to their word. I will definitely be coming here for all my mechanic needs. They did my air conditioning fan blower.

As a former employee I can attest to the competency of the mechanic and the honesty of the owner Hassan. Mr. Hassan was one of the best employer I have worked for. Hassan never overpriced any customers and many times perform service at no charge. This is my second time to have my 1998 F-150 serviced at Honest-1 and as before this was a very good experience in all regards. In all regards, I mean from the professional & timely service provided, the courtesy expressed by the staff/mechanics and particularly Carter, the service manager, who provided the estimate and the final bill which reflected the estimate exactly. No question but I will continue having my vehicle serviced at Honest-1 at 8648-A Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22309. Jim S.

Sunny at Honest 1 is fantastic. He is very professional and courteous. The work they have done on both my vehicles have been through and timely. What I like most is they have given me a priority list of things my vehicles need so I can budget out the work over a couple months. This is incredibly helpful for us to get the work done on our vehicles, but stay on a monthly budget. Thank you Sunny. We will be back.

Fast and friendly service, maintains enough staff to be attentive to customers, clean and comfortable waiting and reception area. A pleasant experience, all around.My family and i bring our cars here all the time and each time we are very pleased with the service provided. They also explain in great detail how something works if you ask them. They can even tell you the reasons behind each repair needed. I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone!!!

I called because my truck overheated close by..it was late in the day and 2days before Thanksgiving!! ( like really?..who needs that) I called spoke to Carter I didn't feel rushed he was able to offer advice,got my vehicle in asap and was able to get it fixed faster than I had expected I finished my transactions with Sunny! He too was awesome! Price was definitely affordable! It was Black Friday i had money to spend elsewhere lol! The waiting room was clean at all times! I know where I'm taking my vehicle now for all my car repair needs!

Sonny, the owner is one of the most honest auto repair services I have come to know. He takes time with the customer & addresses every issue with your car, diagnosis and remedies the problem with the best solution & that meet a persons budget. I am grateful to him & his staff. The waiting area is very warm & inviting for all. Totally recommend Honest One Auto Care!

I took my car to this location on Friday February 14th, 2020 for an emissions test after making an appointment for the service. I scheduled the service for 9:00am. I arrived 10 minutes early for the appointment only to be informed by the service technician that was at the front counter that my appointment was "actually" scheduled for 9:30am on that day (even though I had a confirmation email in my inbox indicating that the service was scheduled for 9:00), and that the owner "outsources" the appointment scheduling to a 3rd party. I was also informed that the owner (Sonny) is also the inspector, and that he had not arrived yet. I decided to overlook the scheduling error, go get coffee and come back at 9:30am to give the shop a chance. I came back at 9:30am and the owner/inspector had still not arrived and was not responding to outreach attempts from the technician at the desk.The technician indicated that rather than wait I could take my car to another shop nearby and that he would reach out to them in advance and let them know I was coming. The technician was very polite and helpful and gave me the name and address of the shop nearby that they sometimes make referrals to, and I ended up going there.I am disappointed that I am not able to recommend this shop based on this negative experience, and despite the hundreds of good reviews this shop has.It is extremely unprofessional to create considerable scheduling conflicts with appointments that are scheduled through your online scheduling service, and then not show up for either of the scheduled times and keep your customer waiting on a scheduled service.I would like to give this shop another chance if the opportunity arises but would need an explanation for why this incident occurred the way that it did.

The place was easy to get to. The office felt clean. I felt like they were truthful. The man working the desk was very polite and straightforward; he was friendly but also professional. The waiting area has a little kid play area and a TV. Decent price for an oil change which took less than an hour. THey also offer military discount! They are my new go-to place for service on our vehicles.

I have been having issues with my truck and I have brought it to a shop nearby prior to bringing it to Honest 1. I should have brought my truck to Hassan in the first place. Honest1 explained everything to me, what type of fixing that need to happen and answered all of my wife's question. We took along trip to visit a friend that passed away a while back, we used the truck to travel. It was running really well and it took us to our destination and back. I will definitely bring my truck back to honest1 if in need of any repairs.

Honest 1 has been repairing my vehicle for some time now. The prices are reasonable and the work is top notch. They'll tell you what needs attention immediately and what can wait for awhile. Pleasant atmosphere, very good customer service, fair prices. I had a coupon and needed an oil change. They didn t try to talk (or scare) me into unnecessary extra maintenance . I didn t have an appointment and I didn t have to wait very long, which really made me happy. Overall a great experience.

Honest 1 has fixed my car a few times now. Their work is reliable and fast. On one occasion my car had an issue right after they worked on it, and they checked it again at no cost. They're a provide service.

This was a very clean business, with very polite team. I did not feel pressure to have extra work done , no upselling at all, unlike Jiffy Lube. I had a noise on one tire so I expected I needed rear brakes, and they took care of it. My only suggested improvement is a bit better comms about expected timing of when the car would be looked at for an initial estimate, and completed. Overall, was very happy and will return.

Had to visit this shop three times in a week for various reasons (my car s state inspection, my wife s tire issue, THEN my car s tire issue. Lol) and all of them have exceeded my expectations! From getting appointments to checking-out, everything was done perfectly. I would highly recommend this shop!P.S.Carter gets extra points in my book for recognizing my One Piece shirt when I came in for my first visit.

I giving an honest 5 stars.1 - Customer Service - The front desk was very friendly and accommodating.1 - Diagnosing the issues - The repair facility had the necessary equipment to find the problems and provide recommended solutions.1 - Communication - The service technicians kept me up to date on all repairs performed and their completion.1 - Technical capability - The technicians were confident and performed necessary repairs where needed. Thank you Carl (former employee) and, Luis.1 - Resolution of issue - On 2 occasions my vehicle was serviced. All issues reported had been identified and resolved.

Charging $127 for a diagnostic fee. A diagnostic test is just plugging into the car to see what the error is. Takes 10 seconds. This is a scam.

Technician damaged the underside of my vehicle.I was standing in the waiting area where there is a clear glass window opening to the service bays. I heard a repeating thunk sound that caught my attention. When I looked over, I saw that it was the technician slamming the jack into the underside of my car. It was clear that the jack at the lowest setting was too high to roll nicely under my vehicle. Once the jack s round 3-4 inch surface was forced under the vehicle s jack pad by about � inch. He proceed to lift the vehicle. This did not go well. It raised about 1 or two inches before slipping off the jack pad. This is where the undercarriage trim area landed directly onto the jack with the weight of the vehicle. I walked around to the maintenance bay, swung open the door and asked the technician what exactly he was doing. His response was You re car is low . I then asked why if he saw the car was low he didn t ask a co-worker for help lifting the body so the jack could roll underneath. He then stated that he was going to go do that now. I proceeded back to the waiting room where I told the desk attendant that the technician is not properly using the jack. He didn t seem concerned or have any type of response.I was issued an inspection sticker with the appropriate documentation. I paid the amount due, retrieved my keys and back to the parking lot to retrieve my vehicle. I found a large chunk of the vehicle s jack pad to have been crushed off, along with a 1 inch dent in the undercarriage trim. This could have been completely avoided if the tech had spent an extra minute to ask for assistance in the first place.In summary, I feel as the employees at this location have no respect or concern for their customers property. The damage caused to my vehicle was not accidental, it was caused by carelessness. With that being said, I cannot trust any work to be performed properly. Therefore I cannot recommend this business to anyone.

I brought my truck in to have front brakes replaced because they were making noise. They were honest about diagnosis being that only the rear brakes needed replacement and recommended the front brakes still have plenty of life and to leave them on. I will be bringing all my veichals here for any repairs in the future.

Friendly shop with very helpful personnel. They have middle of the road prices for their repairs. They estimate repairs by the book -time labor, but also do offer good discounts when asked. They also have great discounts through coupon mailets. I've used them on foreign and domestic cars. They don't try to sell you junk for Repair Jobs that you don't need or dont want (like Firestone and most dealerships ). I like their service and will use them again.

I was very pleased with the service I received at Honest-1. I brought my van in for a safety inspection & it ended up needing additional work to pass. The inspector showed me what was wrong & took the time to explain why it was important. I didn t feel as though he were speaking down to me. I will be using them again in the future for sure.

Honest-1 Auto Care at 8648 A Richmond HWY managed by Sunny is equipped with state of the art servicing equipment. The technicians are experienced and do an excellent job at the first go. Sunny gives the best diagnosis and recommends what should be done immediately and what can be done later. We highly recommend Honest-1 for you auto service experience.
