Friendly staff, on our first time going in Michael Anderson wasn't able to assist but Luis took over. He let us test drove the GV60 car to check out and we told him that we wanted a red GV60. They called a week in and told us that there's a car that is coming to their dealership but after I did some research, I fell in love with GV70 and luckily they have it and we closed the deal! It was an easy process with Mike and very easy to talk to. I highly recommend!PS: Their office is being remodeled so they are on a weird building across the street. Please make sure you are in constant contact with your sales rep. But the place shouldn't deter you with the awesome people they are.

Can one ever really love the car buying experience? So far, so good...bought a new car. Very nice salesman (Eric Park), who was knowledgeable and helpful. Never a quick process when car buying, but no issues. I will update this review if something changes one way or another.Service department has been great so far too!

Eduardo did a great job with me. Very patient and thorough. My car buying process took a few months, as i was comparison shopping. Eduardo was patient and was always there to answer any questions I had. I d recommend him to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

Upon arriving at the dealership, I was surprised to find that the facility was undergoing renovations. This critical piece of information was nowhere to be found on the website. As a result, I was informed by the staff that I would need to reschedule my visit and come back another day, only with a prior appointment.This lack of transparency on the website is not only misleading but also highly inconvenient for potential customers. The whole purpose of checking the available stock online is to save time and make the car-buying process smoother. It is disheartening to learn that the dealership failed to mention the ongoing renovations, which undoubtedly affected their ability to serve customers efficiently.Moreover, the staff's response was less than accommodating. Instead of offering alternative solutions or making an effort to assist me despite the renovations, I was simply turned away and told to return at a later date, even though I drove a far distant to get there. This lack of customer-centric approach is disappointing, especially considering the competitive nature of the automotive industry.In conclusion, my experience at Genesis was marred by false advertising and a lack of communication regarding the dealership's renovation. I strongly urge the management to update their website promptly to reflect the current status of the facility and to ensure that potential customers are not inconvenienced by misinformation. Additionally, a more customer-friendly approach to handling situations like these would go a long way in improving the overall experience at the dealership. I won't be coming back or buying this brand now.

Purchased a vehicle with ease. Who ever says that? Thank you Luis, Joon and Kevin. This dynamic Trio made this experience the best ever. No pressure, no hassle, no frills, and no games. Nice selection of vehicles, very patient and very professional. I and my circle of friends and family will be lifelong customers at G of A.

Oh my my, is this service deparment superb! Indeed it is, with Service personnel like Ms. Alejandra Beltran, Ms. Yesenia and Mr. Ron Torres, the issues that my 2012 Genesis 3.8 had today was received, diagnosed, and remedied in a record amount of time, and at the agreed upon cost. Even with the temporary quarters as major improvements to make this location a Flagship location are underway, the Service Department is still working its magic!I am much obliged for the great experience I had and thanks to this whole team on all fronts.

My husband and I purchased our GV80 from Genesis of Alexandria and the process was incredibly smooth and simple. Our sales rep was Edwin and we definitely recommend him! We re excited to see their newly renovated building when it s ready.

If you want a positive luxury car buying experience request Eric Park of Genesis of Alexandria! You will not be disappointed! I thoroughly appreciated the time & patience this young professional took with us in explaining the Genesis GV70 and showing us as well, even repeating some things until we understood! To date, because of course we have questions, he has been responsive in returning my calls and responding to texts/emails!Thank you Eric!

Eduardo was a pleasure to work with. I drive from Delaware to purchase my vehicle here. This is my second time purchasing a vehicle from this dealership because of the great experience I had here and with Eduardo. The whole process of buying the car was extremely smooth. Luis Torres was waiting for me outside when I arrived and explained everything on the car and made the buying experience very easy. Quang Bae set up everything in advance, so it took very little time to process the paperwork. Michael in Finance had all the paperwork ready and had all the necessary documents ready to sign. In addition, he is a true car enthusiast, and is extremely knowledgeable about cars. Last, but not least, Kevin Reilly, the owner was very attentive throughout the transaction and made the whole process smooth.

*Update 11/15/24*Operations Manager Reached out, picked up the vehicle, and One of the managers loaned me their vehicle for next day service.Updated Review RatingService department has been absolutely terrible especially for a Luxury Car Brand.Scheduled a service a month in advance for my GV70.Day of service I called multiple times to confirm.You can never get in contact with anyone at their service department.Had to corporate every time to get anyone on the line to call me.My "Advisor" said he can't pick it up that day any more and he will have to get it the next day.No update the next day. No one answering at the service department. Found out he was off that day. And the next day as well which again I was not informed ahead of time.(also only learned after working with genesis corporate again to try and get any update).We were actually told he was fired. Only for him to call me (now 4 days after scheduled date of service) to tell me he can't get it again.I can't make this stuff up!!!!Although one of the benefits of Genesis is Valet service don't count on it with this dealership. So I told him I just want the service done. I'll drop it off, I just need the loaner....Now there are no longer any loaners available. I said I'll take a hyundai I just need to be able to get around. He said he will get back to me.Here we are a week later.Advisors last name was Brown, idk his first name because he speaks almost like he mumbles on the phone and it's hard to hear and understand him. But I recommend you guys speak to him and please teach him customer service and not being shady to customers. It's ridiculous.I'd rather wait again to work with another dealership at this point. Worst customer experience I've ever dealt with regarding Genesis.

Visited 3 Genesis dealerships in VA and the Alexandria team is undoubtedly the best (despite their poor temporary office conditions) Worked with Charles, very friendly and knowledgeable. They also have the largest inventory and best pricing in the state. Would recommend anyone interested in a Genesis.

I recently bought my dream car and am so grateful that I was able to work with Charles N. While absolutely professional, he was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and empathetic. I compared prices from all local Genesis dealerships and Charles offered a price point MUCH lower than the others. Highly recommended!!!

I had an excellent experience purchasing my Genesis at Genesis of Alexandria. From the initial point of contact to the delivery of the vehicle, everything was handled with efficiency and professionalism. Joon Bae, the general sales manager, was a pleasure to work with throughout the acquisition process. Kevin Reilly, the owner of the dealership, has put together a great team to run the organization.

Could never get a hold of the service department. Called 3 days straight, left a voicemail spoke with 3 operators who took my name email and phone number. Going to try another dealership.Update: I received a call from Genesis and they helped expedite my service appointment. Diamond got me squared away and took care of all of my concerns. Thank you all for making it right. I'm excited to see the new Genesis dealership in 2024!

Could give no stars for Service for Genesis cars from this location, in general it is hard to schedule any service ( especially silly that free service with include valet for three years) with any dealerships in VA area, especially now with Alexandria location. As all dealerships are Hyundai, they dont understand what is luxury car service and basically have no customer service . Unless they will build real Genesis service here, would stay away from that brand, and go with any other brand .

My past 4 cars have been Genesis and obviously am a huge fan of the brand. That said - when looking to expand our garage to include an EV, Eduardo provided an excellent purchasing experience. He explained in detail all of the features specific to the GV60, presented a fair offer for our trade-in, and used a no pressure approach as part of the sales process. I will admit it was funny having to drive to a parking garage in Alexandria to go see the cars - but it actually made the experience fun. Highly recommend both Alexandria Genesis as well as working with Eduardo!

It all started with Jay Jennison (NJ Genesis) who successfully searched for the exact luxury car I wanted, the Genesis GV70 and continued with an introduction to Kevin Reilly of Genesis of Alexandria and his elite team of professionals. Kevin you are doing something very special because of the commitment of your team to you & the dealership! Starting with Eric Park and his professional direction in describing & tutoring my wife & me on the Genesis GV70, to the finance team of the twin brothers, Chris & Kirk Cooley, your commitment to getting the job done is spot on. In addition, I appreciate the response to calls, texts, emails from the team as we continue to learn more about the car!

I had great experience working with Eduardo. He was pleasant and always in touch when I needed him. He was able to get me the car I wanted with good deal. I must say that comparing to their competitive dealerships Genesis Alexandria looked a bit outdated interior and amenity wise . But other than that everything was great

I have called and left 4 messages about my service appointment over the past week and a half, and have not received any return call or response. This is an unacceptable level of customer service for any business, but especially one that is supposed to provide a luxury experience.Update: I did eventually get my car in for service, and the service itself was fine. Now the time has come to schedule my next service appointment and they once again aren t returning any calls .so the level of service hasn t improved in the past 9 months.

Michael Anderson was very helpful in helping me make the purchase of my new GV70. I d recommend calling to make an appointment, because the one I made thru text was apparently not with a direct employee. Otherwise, my experience went well.

Worst experience ever, Eric was so unprofessional. I felt rushed, disrespected, and not valued. He never invited me in. Then wanted me to do the used car evaluation outside on a trunk. You would think being under construction would create an even higher level of customer service.

I tried to buy a car .. but I think the attitude of dealers post Covid still infects this particular store. Despite reading lots of very mediocre reviews, I went over to look at, and in all probability purchase a car. Couldn t find the sales entrance, and when I did find somebody, I was left waiting in the rain while they went to supposedly find a sales person. I waited 10 minutes, and finally just walked away because of lacking anything resembling customer service. I hate writing negative reviews, but this experience was simply inexplicable to me. Fortunately, there are lots of manufacturers with lots of cars and lots of dealers. Someday supply will exceed demand, and they ll be singing a different tune.

Charles assisted me with my purchase of a Genesis GV70 Sport Prestige. I was traveling over 500 miles to purchase this vehicle, so I needed an extremely smooth transaction. Charles was in touch with me for all my needs and answered every question I had. Charles went over the cars features and was immensely knowledgeable and professional. When I arrived, Charles had all the paperwork required to be completed. My beautiful car was shining full of gas and ready for me to drive away. I would recommend the staff at Genesis of Alexandria because of their professionalism. Best transaction when purchasing a new vehicle. I LOVE my GV70. Thank you to the entire staff.
