This was my first experience with Belle Haven Sunoco, although they had been recommended to me by several friends and neighbors. I took my 2007 vehicle in for a 140,000 mile checkup and required safety inspection. I had a few concerns that I expressed when I arrived, and we made a list of special issues for them to review, along with the normal mileage checkup.The service department kept me up to date by telephone, and the service representative informed me about three safety-related concerns that needed to be handled. In order to handle those concerns, they had to keep the vehicle overnight and estimated that it would be ready by COB the next day. I was pleasantly surprised when the technician called mid-day to say that the vehicle was ready for pickup.The work was completed to my satisfaction. The customer service was impeccable, and the vehicle is road worthy now for the next several months. I am grateful for the recommendations I received, and I would not hesitate to recommend Belle Haven Sunoco to others looking for honest, capable, and timely service.

A couple months ago, I brought in my car to install new parking brakes and to get a safety inspection. Within ONE day, my clutch pedal starts getting soft.I called Tam (one of the managers), and he says it wasn't their fault. I believe somehow they caused the slave cylinder to leak during the inspection or brake installation.And a couple months later, I bring the car back to change the slave cylinder, and when I bring the car home, the clutch is slipping.I bring it to a different garage and the mechanic instantly smelled a burning clutch and that the clutch pedal was too HIGH (or improperly adjusted). Basically, the clutch was toast.To their credit, the owner/service-manager Kedir, gave me a refund. However, Kedir and Tam wouldn't accept responsibility and gaslighted me the whole time that it wasn't their fault.Kedir would go on about "how he owns 5 homes" and that "he has been in business for 20 years" and sing his own praises while not taking ANY responsibility for destroying my clutch.He ONLY gave me a refund because I sent an email that I won't hold him liable or bring the issue to court.They have several mechanics at the garage and you will have ZERO idea which mechanic worked on your car and you'll have no clue as to their competency. I recommend going to a smaller garage where you can have an actual relationship with the mechanic.So basically, if you take your car to Belle Haven Sunoco, and if the mechanic damages your car, they will try to make you think YOU are crazy. This happened to me TWICE IN A ROW!Avoid this place like the plague!

Delightful experience when I got a flat tire in my rear tire. Had heard how great the service was at the Belle Haven Sunoco but had only stopped for gasoline. So thankful for these wonderful people who took excellent care of me and my vehicle. I highly recommend them. A neighborhood JEWEL!

Belle Haven Sunoco is the neighborhood garage one wants to care for late-model vehicles. I tested them first with an oil change and then I returned to have them do work (brake fluid, air filters, transmission fluids, etc.) prescribed for a Mercedes SUV that had just hit 120,000 miles. They did an excellent job. They even uncovered a mouse living in under the hood. The staff is knowledgable and friendly.

The team behind the register counter is always upbeat and eager to assist with a smile.Kedir, the service manager, offers top-notch service from start to finish. He communicates efficiently and thoroughly, even taking photos of the maintenance process to share with me. The work is completed in a timely manner and with competitive rates.The team's enthusiasm and genuine passion for their work shine through. making each interaction a delightful experience. Every step of the process for getting my car fixed at the BV Sunoco was a breeze. I received a confirmation 24hrs after signing up online for a time/date to bring in my car. Only a few hours after dropping off my car I was called and provided an estimate for time/cost for the work needed. Easy, peasy. I pulled the trigger on the fair cost, and picked my car up the next day. Will definitely come back for any issues that come up.

Always helpful and go above and beyond to satisfy needs. It took a bit to get the booking because they really wanted me to talk to Service (which is a good thing) but once that was done it was smooth sailing. DONT KNOW WHY MY PREVIOUS POST MADE ONLY 1 STAR!!

Tam & the team here do an amazing job!! Very communicative of when parts come in & other details. I need my car for work so I needed the work done in a short period of time they got it done, no problem! Would highly recommend coming here!!

They provide top quality service at fair prices, and have often come up with solutions that are less costly than I expected. I was parked a few stores away and needed a jump. I went in to ask for help. Tam was on his lunch, but volunteered to help me right away. He drove me back to my car and jumped it for me. No charge!! I would have had him look at it but I already have a regular mechanic whom I'm loyal to. Thank you so much for making a bad situation better. I would recommend them to anyone - especially after seeing their reviews. They are out to do a good job, not make a quick buck!!!

They were able to diagnose and fix a problem I'd had with my car for a few months (two other auto repair shops had not been able to do this). Everyone was courteous and my car was ready when they said it would be. I'm very happy with the service provided by Belle Haven Sunoco.

As a Belle Haven Shell regular for years, an establishment that I have respected and trusted, I was understandably concerned when many of the familiar faces changed with the branding.I am happy to report that the excellent quality of service has not changed.I have had a few minor services since the changeover happened and remained impressed. Tonight I got my car back after a brake job that involved the service team staying 2 hours beyond normal closing and accommodated minor, though last-minute request. Applause to Abdul and the rest of the service team for carrying on the tradition of excellence.

I took my vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation. Everything appeared fine until the skid plate came loose and began dragging on my trip to FL. I was able to fix enough to get through the trip. When I got back, I took the car back and explained what had occurred. The shop owner investigated the issue and realized that the skid plate had been broken during the process of completing the oil change. He accepted responsibility for the damage and offered to order a new skid plate and repair it at no cost to me. The part was in the very next day and the repair completed. It is great to know that there are still businesses with integrity.

Two years ago when I moved to the area, I wanted a walkable, neighbor place to go for an oil change and found this gem. Although name and space change - the quality of service I receive has been constant!Abdul walked me through logistics and expectations and ensured to call me with estimate (brake pads and rotators) before any work was done with NO upselling while Jeff jumped in to move my car - Charlie and Omid made a fun, easy atmosphere for a quick check in and check out. Jeff kept my dog company (and also the tech on my car and personally confirmed my satisfaction) as Abdul informed me on process, pricing, and answered any questions and made notes but did not try to upsell me on anything #rareThis sunflower place will be one I (any my pup) keep coming back to!

Customer Service is key to my determination and repeat business. Kedir and staff from the time I walked in greeted me with a smile and a genuine "how can I help you." The latter meaning Kedir listened to my needs and provided me in the end with the service that I wanted at a fair price. I used to go to another gas station for service, but despite their smiles they never listened to my service needs and rather would always push what they thought I needed at an unreasonable price.I will definitely be returning my car for all future services to Kedir and his staff.Marie

What started as a simple lamp replacement for a headlight turned into replacement of the entire headlight assembly because of failure of the wiring, BUT the faulty wiring was an manufacturing issue, known to the manufacturer, and Belle Haven's service personnel saved me from much larger expenses if the wiring had shorted. I am very appreciative of both the diagnostic skill and quick work that was done to get my car safely back on the road.

There has been a misunderstanding. I thought when I made an appointment for a certain day and time that I could just wait at the station until the work was done. No. I had to pay for an Uber to get to work and then an Uber back to your station to get my car. I want to continue to hire YOU for my auto work but I need better communication around the expectation of when the work will start and when the work will end. Thank you. Bill Lundeen.

In and out in no time, and the price for an oil change is similar to anywhere else I would go for one. People are nice as well. Only downside is there isn't a waiting area. They could compensate for this by simply offering complimentary coffee and a free snack while you wait in the chairs by the door.

EDIT - 2/8/22 -Unfortunately a few days later the SUV had the exact same problem that was supposed to be fixed by replacing the fuel pump. That job costed me almost $2K. The car refused to start and I was in a parking lot in Manassas at 10pm. Lui did respond to me over text message even at that time which was very nice. He told me he was confident the issue is the fuse box. So I got the truck towed to them and now I am paying an additional $1500 for a new fuse box. He is very sure this will fix the issue. I am hoping he is right.INITIAL REVIEW - 2/4/22Amazing experience through the entire process. Lui my mechanic went the extra mile and then some. He kept me informed throughout the process with text messages and photo updates. He didn t hesitate to give technical descriptions of the problem. He fixed issues that multiple mechanics over the years have been unable to fix. My suv drives better than it did when I first got it. If your looking for an honest, reliable, informative and great auto shop then look no further. Even the receptionist was very pleasant and the owner is very involved as well. Will never take my car anywhere else!

My car was returned to me in an extremely unsafe state. Apparently they didn t have time to do an alignment after they changed my steering wheel part and my car was swerving all over the place. Don t do work on a car if you can t do an alignment. I almost died going down the highway. Had to take it to another shop. Was also overcharged.
