Great customer service at this location, thank you. I showed up 15 min before closing to get a new battery. The person assisting me went far beyond the call of duty to install the new battery including dealing with rusted bolts in the dark and rain which delayed the end of his work day. Very grateful, thanks again!

Staff was friendly, store had everything I required in stock, and it took only minutes to check out.Store was also clean and quite busy, I suspect they can get busy at times.It is a right spot to get into depending on time of day, but once in the parking lot it has room around the back you can use to work on your car if needed.

The guys here are unprofessional and rude. Go somewhere else, I went and I bought my own battery at Walmart and replaced it myself instead of letting these fools touch my car. Took me 15 minutes and the guy at this shop was complaining like it s going to take an hour and that s why he couldn t do it right then when no one else was in the shop and 1 and a half hrs to close

You got me one you will NEVER get me again. Auto Zone on Mt Vernon Ave is the worst. After buying a battery from your location, watching the guy struggle to put it in. Trying to start the car, seeing it still doesn't work. Being told it's not the battery it's the starter. I then spent the additional money to take it to the dealership to find out the BATTERY I just purchased 48 hours ago was not the right ONE for MY car. I'm glad it didn't cause any other damage but pissed that I had to pay additional fees for a new battery to not get my money back for the one I got two days ago. YOU SUCK AUTO ZONE .

I want to share my experience I had today. I was helping my sister with her vehicle troubles and we went to this auto zone. Were politely greeted by Bradly. He was very patient listened to our issue and took care of us. He made us feel like we weren't just some random people he gave us top of the line customer care. We thank auto zone for making the right hire with him because he literally made our day better with his service. Thank you Bradley!

Tonight 7/3/23 was a good night at this AutoZone. The two gentleman working the counter were really nice and very helpful. I bought new wiper blades for my Kia Soul and they also helped put them on for me.This is a lot different from the first time I went to this location.Was really happy with the service tonight.

Bradley and Kaneki were the absolute bestI went in with my Mercedes and they were both so so patient and kind and helped me thru every step of the way to service my vehicle! I ll never need to see the dealer again !!I highly recommend these guys !

I had a great experience at this location. One of the associates, Ryan, customer service was amazing. He was very polite when helping me. He even came outside and changed my car battery. I will definitely continue to patronize the Mt. Vernon location with associates like Ryan working here. I really appreciated the service that I received.

Derek was amazing and wonderful. I needed a new headlight and he showed me which one I needed and even offered to help me install it! This was By far, the friendliest and most efficient Autozone I've ever been to. Top notch customer service & availability. And from reading the reviews it seems they pride themselves on taking great care of their customers. I wish nothing but the best for them in the future.

Went in to pick up a timing light, online said they had it in stock. They looked around the store for 30 mins trying to find it. Only to tell me they didn t have it in stock. Keep better track of your inventory.

just when here to change a battery for a jeep grand cherokee 2015 they won t change the battery because is under the seat wish can be move to the from ! he say he won t do that ! call someone us and wants to charge $60 dollars for installation they won t even want to test my battery they where to busy chatting on a group by the register . i will never recommend this place go where you feel like they care

Nick and Ryan were amazing. I Always feel intimidated when I go inside stores like this but their customer service is top notch I will be coming back in recommending everyone to come here. Nike helped me with my headlight and Ryan offered great advice on car maintenance. Give them a raise!

I asked a few times before buying a windshield wiper. They still sold me the wrong one. My was beam style wiper and they sold me conventional, which was completely unusable. They also charge me windshield cleaner which they told me was free.

Got my car battery changed by Bradley. He was very good at doing so, with excellent customer service. Highly recommend seeking him to work on your vehicle.

I bought a license plate holder from this Autozone and received my receipt back. After failing to fit into my car, I returned 10 minutes later to return the license plate holder and buy another one. The manager of the store was yelling and berating me for supposedly damaging the product. I informed him that it is not damaged but merely opened, as I had just bought the product 10 minutes prior. He continued to shout at me stating that "by opening it, you damaged it" since he won't be able to resell it. I told him this is not so and that the return policy allows for the return of opened (undamaged) products. Eventually, he reluctantly agreed to return my money but continued to shout and abuse me and tell me that I was supposedly damaging their products. I do not think it is wise practice to yell, berate, and chastise paying customers. Needless to say, I do not recommend this location.

I called to inquire about a specific type of spray paint. Some Hispanic guy told me over the phone that I need to come in and look it myself. Great service & attitude. So sad.

Rob, at Auto Zone in Alexandria, VA, on Mt. Vernon Ave., was amazing! Once I informed him of the year, make, and model of my vehicle, he wanted to test the battery, based on the information I told him. He tested it and the message read, bad battery. He happily assisted me in finding the right battery replacement for my vehicle. After I purchased it, he willingly installed the battery in my vehicle. It was late on a Monday and he was determined to make everything better for me. He truly made my day/evening and was very professional and courteous. I hope Auto Zone knows the caliber of a person that they have in Rob. If I go back to Auto Zone, I pray that Rob is there to assist me again.

I never remember names for the life of me, but this service was so bad I had to remember his name. Its VICTOR. He was the laziest and most incompetent person I EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF INTERACTING WITH!! I've NEVER HAD THIS HORRIBLE SERVICE HERE UNTIL HIM. This is NOT the kind of service this location gives all my times I've come here, but he was ABHORRENT at his job. He didn't help me at all! He ruined my battery wires and I had to stop him from doing further damage! He wouldn't stop talking about guns and knives and pressing me into going out on a date with him. HE WOULD NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER! I EVEN SHOWED HIM MY RING! He even ignored me at some point of just staring at me work at my car (which I asked if he could help me!) to start harassing another person about guns and knives!I'm so nervous writing this review I'm using my husband's account! I usually love the service here, but he has made me scared of even looking into this store again. I cannot beg enough that management or corporate does something about him!

Nick deserves a raise. I came here because my engine light turned on and I was freaking out. Nick was extremely helpful on giving a diagnosis and also helped me figure out a list of things to do that I was given by a mechanic earlier in the day. He was very knowledgeable and even helped me with getting the part that I needed to fix my car. Thanks man!

The staff at the store are very helpful. My alternator and battery went bad in my car which worried me a bunch. But the staff helped me through the whole process of testing it, providing tools for me to replace, and I was able to buy the new alternator there too. Even though it took a few hours they were cool with me doing the work in the parking lot. With both replaced now everything is working great. Thanks again!

I had to replace the battery of my car, which I thought was an easy task. It wasn't due to the air filter intake duct being over the battery and needed to be removed in the first place. Upon buying the battery at AutoZone in Mt. Vernon Rd. in Alexandria, I asked the tech in the counter, Silvia, to help me replacing it. She was gracious enough to install it for me and did an outstanding job removing the ducts and the old battery, and putting the new one in the compartment. I was very satisfied with her service. Good job! Thanks Silvia and thanks to AutoZone Alexandria!

Amazing service. Ricky was super helpful with answering all questions on car battery. So grateful for his help first thing in the morning with battery replacement. Will be coming to this AutoZone again in future!
