the people are nice enough however, i made an appointment for a state inspection, received a confirmation for that appointment, but upon arrival was told that 1. I cannot make an appointment for state inspection (even though it is listed as a service on the website) 2. they don't do state inspections at that location (even though it is listed on the website for that location). it would have be nice to have been contacted in the 2.5 hours between them opening and my "appointment" (when they were fully aware that my appointment was on their schedule and they couldn't fulfill the request) and told this so that i could make other arrangements with my morning and not stress my special needs child by putting him the car for no reason. so i wasted my morning with no recourse to try and get it done because this was the only time I had to do it. very disappointing and will not be back.

I only gave them a one because I can t go lower. I went in around 11ish to have a tire checked for a slow leak knowing I d probably need a new one. One employee behind the counter, one leaning over the counter talking. No one else is in the store and only one car in the bay. I was told, we can t get to something as simple as that before Monday. As I m leaving the employee leaning over the counter proceeds to continue his conversation, but they couldn t take a few minutes to sell me a tire. They never even tried to schedule an appointment for Monday. I ll never go back.

This is the best place to take your vehicle. They are nice, polite, cheerful, helpful, trustworthy. I will be taking all my vehicles to them.

For the reviews that are on here, I'm confused because many are bad. I went in, they opened on time, they had the tires I wanted which are a rare tire no one has in stock, not even Wal-Mart, and they were pleasant and accommodating. We used Tread Quarters a few years ago in Williamsburg for our larger, rare tires on another vehicle they were good to deal with them as well. Can't say anything bad about the experience

I see why the ratings are so high. Excellent service! The employees were very professional. The service was quick. Very thorough in the complimentary inspection. The mechanic explained in detail the issues needing attention, along with showing me. The young lady at front desk was courteous, and helpful. Fair pricing too. Definitely would recommend others, already did. I will return for services in the future. All around great service. They definitely care about their customers, and the vehicles they work on. I was dreading my appointment today, but had to leave a review because I was so pleased after.

On a Monday, 12 Dec 2022, ordered on-line, 4 new tires from Tire Choice scheduled an appointment for the following day to have them put on car arrived at appointed time was then told that they did not have the tires in stock and would have to order them received a call on Wednesday saying tires arrived set up a 2:30PM appointment on Thursday to have installed would wait in store. I arrived at the appointed time around 4PM, asked the technician what what was taking so long informed that they had a shortage of personnel but would get to my car as soon as possible car finally ready around 5:15PM a $108.59 discount took some of the sting out of a 3 hour wait not sure how much was from a military discount which they told me they gave and how much was from Tire Choice all I wanted was to get out of there so I paid and left was dark when car was finally ready checked new tires the following day tires looked ok but the two rear rims were damaged went to the shop to speak to the manager he took pictures said that he would sent to corporate to get their take and would call me with their decision.On Saturday morning, 17 Dec, got a call from a technician at Tire Choice asking me to set up an appointment for a tire alignment was confused because I thought the alignment cost was included in the bill. I ALWAYS got an alignment whenever I had new tires installed on my vehicles set a same day appointment estimated cost for the alignment was $108.00 goodbye discount. I checked my receipt after talking to technician saw road hazard coverage and wheel alignment were declined I accept responsibility for not checking my receipt definitely did not want the road hazard coverage but would have insisted on getting an alignment. In any event, I was wondering why I got a call asking me to set up an appointment for the alignment when I declined it. Also asked why I was not informed that my left brake light was out.Upside: Manager and technician were courteous. Downside: Let customer ordering on-line know if tires are in stock so they won t waste their time going to the store understand personnel problems but keep customers informed/updated on delays when servicing their vehicles stop messing up rims include checking head/brake lights in courtesy inspections. I'll not be using this store anymore.

Install tires and alignment, very competent tech and the office lady was real friendly. This place is my go to for tires and such. Tire Rack can send their tires here for install, which is what I did.

Frank was simply a life saver. I called with a flat tire working in Yorktown living in Virginia Beach and needed to get home. Frank ordered my tire that morning and repaired it by the end of the day. I was able to make it home! Service was great. They deserve ur business

This was my first time at Tire Choice and the service was awesome. Mr. Purdie was great help. He greeted us customers with a smile and just had a pleasant attitude all around. He made sure to explain the situation to me so i could understand what was going on with my vehicle. He made sure to update me as i waited in the lobby for my vehicle. I had a great experience today at Tire Choice.

The only thing I can say about their current rating is that they must have paid the people to rate them or offered a good discount. Who runs a business that takes early morning appointments then only schedules one mechanic? We live in a high traffic area and anything could happen. I arrived at my scheduled and confirmed appointment one-half hour early. The only other customer arrived after me. I waited 1 1/2 hours for a mechanic to show up for work. The counter guy said that he called him and asked him to come in early because the scheduled person did not show up. He told me he was scheduled at 9:00 a.m. however he should be in by 8:30 a.m. Well I guess knowing I was there he would have passed on to the guy that he had a customer with an 8:00 a.m. appointment waiting. Well when he showed up at his scheduled time 9:00 a.m., he showed up with a breakfast sandwich and coffee in hand so to me that meant that I still wasn't going to get service right away. Concerned now about the quality of the service that I might get because now his coffee and breakfast sandwich is going to get cold, I left. What a waste of a good Saturday morning. Never again Tread Quarters horrible customer service experience I have had with this company. You may think this is a little petty but these guys did it so comfortably that it appeared to be the norm. No concern whatsoever about the customer nor their time.

Called yesterday to order a tire that needed to be replaced. I spent nearly 30 minutes on the phone giving information about the type of tire and having the person on the phone check their system for inventory. Eventually was advised the tire will be ordered and I would be called that day or the next when the tire arrived. The next day I called to follow up and spoke to the same person. Not only had the tire not been ordered she wasn't sure of the type of tire I needed. Lost my business.

I have been doing with this location for years. Never any complaints about service. On Monday I went into get a tire because of a blowout. They were able to give me an appointment that day at 3:00. I got a new tire and got out in a timely manner. Great service. When I got home I noticed how filthy my armrest was (cream color). That day the temperature was 97 degrees. The person that drove my car in/out of bay rested his arm on the armrest I'm sure. He was obviously sweaty and dirty on his arm, which is normal. When I went in there I told the counter person I was not making a complaint but an observation. I was not upset since I was scheduled for detailing the next Saturday. He seemed to be very upset that I made this observation. I asked him to look at right armrest to show him how clean the other one was before coming in there. He automatically jumped on the defense and pointed out a spot on the side of my door (which had nothing to do with the area I was talking about).. All I wanted him to say is we'll be careful in the future and/or sorry.

Purdue is an amazing mechanic! He got my tires replaced so quick and changed my oil even faster. Less than an hour in and out! Customer service there is top notch. I will definitely be back for all my car needs!

These guys were great! They were able to schedule me an appointment the next day after I initially came in and when I arrived for my appointment, they went straight to work on it. They replaced my flat tire and got me set up with a great warranty in an hour flat. Bonus: they worked my issue and didn't try to get me to pay for any other "fixes" (I'm a female so I've dealt with PLENTY of that in the past). I highly recommend these guys and look forward to coming back for all my car maintenance.

I ordered tires from Tire Rack and chose this location as the installer. I was promptly notified when the tires arrived and was offered a same day install appointment. Employees were courteous and professional. I was called as soon as the the work was done. Also really appreciated the courtesy inspection. Will use again!

I came in recently for my inspection and the mechanic Purdie pointed out how I needed 2 tires. He explained why going too many more miles would not be good for my car or me :-). When I asked more questions he was very professional and knew his stuff, not pushy at all. From someone in Customer Service many years..Great Job!

The service was extremely excellent. Especially the manager Mr Brian he was able to fit me in earlier then m e scheduled appointments. And also give me great advice on what future issue that may arise soon. I will differently be coming back for any service needed for my vehicle.

Very friendly. Price matched without any questions. They did a great job. My tires a 50,000 mile warranty. They did an alignment with a sheet to show me what was off and how they fixed it. They also gave us a military discount. Great experience! Thank you Tread Quarters of Yorktown!!!

Very friendly and courteous staff! However, I was told that my brake pads and rotors were very "close" and might not pass inspection. I just got my state inspection report (1 month later) and brake pads are fine - 6mm.

Amazing service, listened to my concerns and my budget constraints and provided me solutions that I was comfortable with and able to afford. I have had very negative experiences with other shops and was extremely apprehensive going in but everyone was very nice and explained what I needed in easy to understand terms. Will most certainly be going back!!

They have great people here who care about taking care of your car. After a dealership stripped my oil plug, Tread Quarters told me about it, and I was able to get the dealership to replace the part, which I would never have known about. Then I took my car back to TQ so they could look it over and make sure the dealership had done their job right. I'm only ever going here for all maintenance from now on.

Wasn t too happy with the service. I get that auto mechanics is a manly job but it s not hard to greet people when they walk in. The actual job was more than what I was quoted and now I have a strange noise coming from the rear brakes. Overall not happy with the service or cost and won t be returning.

Always great service. Highly recommend them. (May 2019)UPDATE: I was offered $5 off my oil change that day for a positive review on Google. Oil change was fine, however, they said I would need new brakes prior to my inspection in July. I was also told my battery charge was low. My inspection passed in July. I was still concerned about my brakes, as I have been travelling more. Just had my brakes checked today by another company. They checked all 4 and said I do NOT need brakes, which is great news, but feel like Treadquarters tried to sell me some unnecessary repairs. Then bribed me to post a favorable review. (Oct 2019)
