Finding a good mechanic is tough because you have to find someone you trust and that is honest.Whenever I pick up my car from Bodie, he shows me the parts he replaced and explains what he did. It is amazing.Whenever I go anywhere else to get something done I always find myself waiting to see if they will explain what they did and show me the parts they took out.Bodie took over for Ron at Lowe Auto. He is amazing. He is the only person I trust with my car. When I have an emergency he will always try to get us in.Image is of our serpentine belt and spark plugs he replaced.

Took in my old 1999 car with zero notice and fixed it in a day. Saw his schedule and they were busy, but was able to fix an exhaust leak and a check engine light in just over 1 business day.Charged $115 per hour for labor.Very friendly and personable. Showed me the broker parts afterwards. Amazing Customer Service! Definitely will return again if I have any more car issues, but will ensure to make an appointment. Doesn t do Apple Pay.

He was so nice and helpful! He explained to me everything that he was going to do and the pricing was fair! He said he might not get to my car for a couple of days, but he called me up the next day letting me know he was done! I'm so grateful for this place! I will be back for future car needs!

Bodie diagnosed my car trouble after my regular mechanic could not figure out the problem. He s easy to work with and only charged me for an hour, even though it took longer than that. Only negative is that his waiting list was about two weeks to get it in, but that s because he s honest and is good at what he does. Highly recommended.

Bodie is the best car mechanic there is! He is very fair and honest. He is organized and gets vehicle repairs done quick. My inlaws and parents have been going to him for awhile and my husband and I switched to him last year. I highly recommend!!

I brought my car to Birdie's after having bad experiences with many other mechanics here in Utah. He was nice and understanding as I explained what was wrong with my car. Given how good he is, he was booked out a month, but told me to drop off my car and he would take a look at it. Less than 2 business days later, he called me to tell me what was wrong and gave me an estimate on time that it would take to be fixed. He was very quick, efficient, and good at what he does. I will absolutely be bringing my car back to him (and we already scheduled for our other car to come in). I would highly recommend his shop to anyone else.

My dad took his vehicles to Bodie, and I have taken my cars there as well. Always honest and friendly, always fair prices, and always the most reliable work. It's rare to find a mechanic/shop who consistently is so amazing, so I tell everyone to go to Bodie's for car repairs.

I can't overstate how wonderful my experience was with Bodie. He fixed my Ford F150 water pump and I honestly believe that it was better than before it broke. Bodie s was the BEST mechanic I have ever been to. So helpful and completely honest. I had taken my car to a mechanic before coming here and he priced my catalytic converter repair at $1,300. I am a young girl who doesn t know much about cars so they took advantage of that. My parents told me to take it somewhere else so I took it to Bodies and he was so nice and did it for $200 the next day!! So trustworthy and an amazing shop!!

Bodie's is by far the best of all of the auto shops I have ever been to in the sense of skill, honesty and price. While some places my try to pad the bill with useless or unnecessary services, Bodie has never done that and doesn't need to since he has so much work lined up already, and always takes the time to explain the whats and whys and show you the parts that were replaced after all is said and done. He's usually booked out a week or two in advance because he's that good and he's urned the trust of so many people. Give him a shot if you're looking for a different shop to bring your cars to and I can promise you that you won't regret it.

Bodie's just replaced the heater core in my old Ford truck. I dropped it off Monday morning and Tuesday morning it was ready for pickup - much faster than I anticipated with all the labor involved in swapping one of those out. I thought it was a reasonable price for the work involved - especially with how fast they finished it. Very impressed and will definitely be going there in the future.

He fixed everything that was wrong with our car after sliding into a curb and bending the front wheel and was honest and affordable . he even told us we should get a front-end alignment as soon as we could to prevent the new tire from wearing badly. I will recommend him to all me friends.

Bodie is awesome. He is honest and does great work. Be has worked on my 3 vehicles for 10 years. We even live in Alaska and when we were down in Utah we had him do some work on a vehicle. Because he is an honest and great mechanic be is busy. We made out appt 3 weeks out. If you can get an appt I would wholeheartedly recommend Bodie's.

This guy is honest and straight forward. I bought a slightly used F-150 (2019 7,500 miles) from a Utah County dealership that I won t name (as much as I want to). After a few days of ownership I noticed brake shake as well as wobbling on the rear passenger tire. The truck was supposedly a clean Carfax, etc. I figured it was maybe a result of the lift and tires the dealer installed, and not wanting to go through the process of begging the dealership to look at it, and knowing they lost definitely wouldn t cover anything as used vehicles are sold as-is , I decided to take it to Bodie s since he had such good reviews. Bottom line is he discovered that the truck had at some point been in a collision and the rear passenger axel was damaged and needed to be replaced (how does any good dealership miss that? Especially if they re modifying the suspension and adding wheels and tires). Additionally, the rotors all needed resurfacing. He told me exactly how much it would cost and gave me good information on the issue and helped understand what was needed. He fixed it in one day. Although I m upset with the dealership from which I bought the truck, I m happy I found Bodie s. He easily could have up-sold me on a variety of things as I wasn t sure what the problem was. I will definitely take my vehicles back to him for any repairs and I recommend you do the same!

We've been going to Bodies shop for the past 4 years and hes fantastic! Hes always super busy and slammed but if we just leave our vehicle there he has always squeezed us in before our actual appointment day because he has a little extra time. We also appreciate he leaves the broken/old pieces out for display so when you pick up your vehicle he can show you yhe exact issue. Very honest! Bodie is courteous and honest. He runs a small shop so it can take a while to get in to have your vehicle looked at. He has always treated my family well and I recommend him if you need work done to keep your vehicle on the road.

As a woman, i really hate taking care of car stuff. Honestly, i don't know much about cars and I'm always worried of getting ripped off. I felt Bodie was honest with me, and didn't talk down to me and explained things in a way i could understand.

We've had four different cars serviced by Ron at Lowe Auto Repair over the last several years and he's always been honest, done good work and charged very reasonable prices. As an example, earlier this week I was quoted ~$844 from another shop in Springville to get my upper control arms and lower ball joints replaced in my truck. Of that, $476 was labor. Today, I got a quote from Ron for under $550, out the door, including parts and labor. ~$300 less than the other shop! That's huge! I've got an appointment scheduled next Wednesday to get the work done.Things you need to be aware of:1) Ron ALWAYS keeps the parts he took out so he can show them to you and explain what was wrong with them before you leave. I love it - very informative.2) He's a character and somewhat cantankerous. Still, I've always found him friendly and honest. Even better, he's always treated the women in our family fairly when they've brought cars in for server. By comparison, my teenage daughter and a friend took a car to another shop in Provo and were quoted absolutely outrageous prices for repairs Ron would have charged hundreds less for.3) Lowe Auto Repair only accepts cash and checks, no credit cards.

I personally don't know anything about cars and was very pleased by the patience of the employees as i tried to explain my desire to fix some of the strange noises i was hearing. They were very apologetic when they couldn't get rid of all the noises but they gave me a very reasonable price and saved me a lot of trouble. Very good

My family has gone here for as long as I can remember, we I'll never go anywhere else! Bodie is 100% honest and fair, he won't tell you a part needs fixing if it doesn't like all other auto shops do. The knob to adjust the thermostat was broken, and it was going to cost over a thousand dollars to fix, so he showed us a way to manually adjust the temperature in the car so that we can turn the heat on in the winter and the air on in the summer. He goes WAY above and beyond to help people out, and it is ABSOLUTELY worth waiting to see him for any car repair I need!!

I took my vehicle in to have Bodie check the brakes. It has been a while since I have had them worked on, and thought they may need to be replaced. Bodie took a look and let me know that everything looked fine No repairs needed! This is why I bring my vehicles to Bodie He s honest. He will tell it to you straight, and he will NEVER invent a reason to repair something that doesn t really need it!!!

Car belt broke, power steering gone, engine was overheating, and had to pull over. Called these guys up. Talked to the owner Bodie who has 30 years of mechanical experience. Fantastic guy! Incredibly courteous, humble, friendly, and understanding. A gentleman and a scholar. He fixed my car in the same hour I called him despite being absolutely swamped with car appointments an entire week out. What a champ! Saved my life.Not to mention, the BEST prices I have ever seen in my life compared to the majority of autoshops out there. Just an honest guy doing honest work. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND BODIE'S AUTO REPAIR! 10 stars if I could! Thank you Bodie for your help today!

Fast, honest service. I brought my car in because it was making a stressful noise. Turns out it was a muffler problem and Bodie told me straight up that he didn't do exhausts anymore and referred me to another guy in town. He didn't charge anything and I was in and out in about 5 minutes.

I would trust my life to the mechanics in this shop, which in fact, is what I do! I know that Bodie (and staff) will do the job thoroughly, reliably, and well. I was astounded that the average rating of this shop was only 4.2, so I read the reviews and in every case of low ratings it involved a complaint about the long-time previous owner of the shop, who was, I must admit, a bit of a curmudgeon. BUT! He was honest, and straight up with customers and had a loyal following of customers who took their cars NO PLACE else. Bodie worked for this shop for years and years, and has continued the reputation for honesty and reliability, now that the previous owner has retired. One difference is they will now accept credit card payment for repairs, but will charge you the additional surcharge that the credit card company charges them--which is becoming more typical in the industry. I just had body work done elsewhere in town, and that business had the same policy. Bodie always tells me exactly what is going on and what it will cost, before making the repair. When I pick up the car, he shows me the parts that he took out of the car, and further discusses the car with me, patiently and politely, answering any and all questions. Because they are an honest and reliable shop, they are busy, and you will almost always have to wait about a week before your car can be fit into the schedule. For me, that is the only possible downside. But I am not going to ding points for that. Once he has the car, he is FAST. So in other words, he doesn't take your car and let it sit for days. He takes it when he's ready to work on it, and gets the job done. As for the biker who was cursed at as he drove by the shop, for one thing, he cannot know for sure that it was staff from the shop who hollered at him, or just someone who happened to BE in the shop. And I'm sorry, you cannot extrapolate that someone who hollers at a biker would cheat car owners. That was six years ago, and if it was staff, I'd suspect the aforementioned previous curmudgeon owner was the guilty party. And what you can extrapolate is that he was passionate about cars! It is simply ridiculous to count this against the current owner. I also feel that Bodie charges a reasonable price for repairs. Like another reviewer, I have a 20 something daughter who had a repair made elesewhere, ( in SLC) and the cost was exorbitant. I've told her that I'll help her with repairs in the future, but when possible, she has GOT to bring her vehicle down to Bodie's, so I'll know that the price is fair and the repair is only for what needed to be done. We are incredibly fortunate to have this business in our community.

If you're looking for honest mechanic's with integrity, Bodie / Ron are your guys. They know what they're doing and have always over delivered. I have had too many negative experiences with other mechanic shops in the area. If you want it done right and you don't want to get jerked around, this is your shop.

Bodie is one of the most honest people I know. I work with many shops along the Wasatch Front and Bodies is among the best! I am proud to have this shop as a certified BlueStar inspection station. You will receive highest quality work and great customer service. Highly recommend!
