Two years ago we had to say farewell to my beloved VW Jetta TDI. Spent many hours looking at various dealerships for something to replace it.Dealing with sales people and feeling like nobody was listening until. . . Alder. He took time to actually listen to what we were looking for. He simply LISTENED and took the time to find what we wanted. Alder and his team (Daniel and PJ) delivered. THANK YOU to this dealership for making it less stressful and time consuming!!!!

SouthTowne is 10 times better than the Ken Garff in Orem. If you have the choice I would choose SoutheTowne 10 times out of 10. They are decently quick and accurate with timelines and fairly responsive. My service coordinator was nice and very communicative.

I have been getting a check engine light for a covered warranty issue going on and off for 6 months. I have gone in twice without an appointment to have it diagnosed, and was turned away both times saying I need an appointment. Once in February, once in may. The light came back on, I scheduled an appointment, then the light turned off days before the appointment. I decided to go in anyway. A diagnosis is performed and they come back and tell me exactly what I already knew and tried to tell them three different times now, and they said it wasn t covered because no codes were found, and that I should come in right away if it comes back on. So, in summary, I did the right thing TWICE, got told to do something different, did that, and now they are telling me to do EXACTLY what I already did twice and that they can t do anything, because I tried to do it the way they initially said to go about it.On top of that, they still charged me the $165+tax for the diagnosis that didn t give me any new information and would have been covered if they caught the code that went away because I waited like they said to do.What those service reps didn t know was that I had outlined what vehicle I wanted with a sales rep during the service, and he had just started a search for me. Not anymore! I m not taking my business to a place that will disrespect me or my time like that.

Very negative experience for us.They did some minor work on our car after telling us the car was still undrivable and it would cost $16k to fix everything.As we did not want to fix it, we still had to pay for the minor work $216, while the car was still undrivable. People were not collaborative and not friendly. It always felt like they were just trying to get us to buy a new VW from them. But definitely won t go back.We sold the car on our own and will look into other brands.

If you like being harrased almost on a daily basis by "sales bros" then this is the dealership for you. Here's a little context and the details. I have leased several vehicles from vw southtowne and my current lease is up in 8 months. I have been called, texted, and emailed constantly by these guys despite asking them to chill out, which I politely did. Here's a quick snapshot of how they have contacted me in a 10 day period. 5 emails, 3 calls with 2 voicemails left, and 2 text messages. Read that again and remember this is just over a week of time!On top of this, their sales practices are terrible. They refuse to get away from the old school tactics that gave car sales a bad rep and made the car buying experience a generally bad experience. I won't get into this too much but I'm talking about things like holding points, making the process long and drawn out so when you finally see the numbers at the end you don't have the will to question them etc. Etc. Etc.I have left good reviews in the past and I'm not changing those. I did receive a similar sales experience then but they at least respected my time when it came to contacting me afterwards.I understand they are just trying to do their jobs and I respect the hustle. However, since you can't respect my time or my requests to take it down a couple of notches you have lost my business forever.

I visited the service department. I needed the wheel locks removed from my car that I purchased used. It did not come with the lug nut key. Sam was very friendly and helpful. Overall I had a good experience. I will visit them tomorrow as when they replaced the locking nuts with the ones I had that came with the car, the tech did not return the little plastic lug nut caps nor return the lug nut box and the little puller tool that pulls the plastic caps.

Had an appointment this morning for a recall, terrible experience. Nobodywearing face coverings and nobody keeping the proper distance away from other employee or customer. Will never go back for service. When we made the appointment we were assured all cautions were being taken. Not true. The customers were wearing coverings and keeping their distance but not the employees. I can only guess VW Southtown doesn't really care about their customers!

They do awesome work and are reasonable!! The Service Dept,Sales team etc. are fantastic!! I got my signals fixed and working today on our VW 2013 Jetta,they also did a many points inspection and even washed it!! I really appreciated them doing that!! Everyone was super nice!! They treat you like king and queen!! You really need to go there!!They have a lot of beautiful cars there as well as other vehicles!!

This dealership commits fraud they sold my wife a 2017 Jetta they said it had a factory warranty that should take care of any mechanical problems that may happen for the 60000 mile warranty. The car broke down in Wyoming had to tow the car the turbo accuator broke.So we towed the car to Southtown Volkswagen where we bought the car. We were informed that the warranty will not cover the repair. We asked why they said that it was only drive train coverage so in other words the warranty was worthless I paid $960 to get our car back . I think they lied to my wife or at least deceived her by not informing her that the warranty wouldn't cover anything except what they want to cover . I will never buy another car from this dealership and I will tell everyone that they will lie and deceive the customer just to get the sale. Don't buy a car from here!
