Did some major repairs on my Subaru legacy 2013. Had a leaky head gasket that was contaminating the coolant with oil. They diagnosed it, and repaired it in the time I was quoted. The results were good and GT Automotive got me going just in time for my family trip. Thanks guys!

GT automotive is a great place to take your Subaru or other vehicle. Kyle (service manager) goes out of his way to make sure he understands what car s issue is and provides top-notch communication throughout the whole process. Every repair they ve done for me has been solid, the price has been competitive, and the communication and service is second to none! I highly recommend GT automotive!

Poor customer service attitude. I pulled up to the Emissions bay for emission inspection. Walked into the waiting area, where I was told that I would need to move my car to one of the Lube bays for emission inspection. Dude, your tech will need to drive my car into the bay, is it too much for him to change one lane? I moved my car all the way to another shop. Get your customer service act together.

I was traveling through Salt Lake City, the radiator on my Honda pilot and began spewing fluid. I called Paul at GT automotive and he got me in first thing Monday morning. Radiator was replaced and some other work done in a day for a fair price. Highly recommend!

All these other companies are a complete joke. This place is only charging $80 for an alignment and their competitors are charging $120! Go here for a really good deal.

GT automotive is great, My car had recently hit 150,000 miles and I swung in to get my brakes checked. I didn't currently need new pads or spring breaks and was told to come back. I'll make sure to come back as an honest mechanic is hard to find.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Had a sqeaky noise coming from the bottom of my silverado, had them take a look and they gave a thorough inspection. For better and worse they found other issues I wasn't entirely aware of alongside figuring out it was a bad driveshaft.80$ will get you a thorough inspection by trusted mechanics. Worth it in my opinion.I try to do as much work on my truck as I can, I asked them a few questions about doing it myself and they were happy to lend advice.Update: GT was right, just put a new driveshaft on and the noise/clunk went away.Another Update: Had them diagnose my check engine light. They said it was a bad gasket on my intake manifold and bad knock sensors. I took a day and swapped the parts out myself and my issues went away and my truck runs smooth! They sure know how to solve the problems!

GT is the only place I will go to get my cars fixed. They have been great to work with, and I trust them to find the problem, fix it, and get me back on the road within a day or two.

This shop is amazing for pre car buying inspections they give you a detailed list of everything wrong with the vehicle so you can determine if it will be a good buy or not. They got me in the same day and was done pretty quickly.

I was nervous to take my car to a new mechanic. But Paul, Kristin, and Chance did a great job taking care of me. The car drove SO much better and quietly after the repair. Updated: Great service after they fixed the awful service the first time. Didnt change the filter, oil, or add in enough oil to even register on the dip stick! Get it right the first time guys.

So I thought I had a leak from my output shaft seal on my transmission. I took the car to big o in downtown salt lake. They told me first they couldn t find a leak 2 times. I got the car back and it was still dripping fluid after driving so I took it back to big o and told them. First they said they could fix it kept my car for four days, then called and recommended I take it to a transmission shop. I finally ended up picking up my car and taking it to GT automotive cause I called a transmission shop here downtown and they recommended GT, due to it being something he knew GT could fix, even thought they are on 106000 s. So I took the risk and took the car there. Their mechanic looked at the car and found the gear oil plug by that seal was not screwed in all the way. SUPER SIMPLE FIX. Big o looked at the car three times in a matter of a month and could not find that even after I asked them to check the level of the gear fluid.If they checked the fluid level they would have seen the plug was loose. So big o lied to me SEVERAL TIMES. GT was honest with me and that right there says it all. They did the job right. I am not familiar with all the staff names. But they were patient and kind and I did not feel like I was making them do the job they are there to do. I will make the 30 min drive any day of the week to get these guys and gals valuable service. Super clean store, highly organized, clean lot. Hell Kristin the secretary knows so much and was so nice. Thank you. Had a part that failed about 10 months after the original installation, and GT Automotive took care of the new part and labor at 100%. They were prompt and efficient, very happy with the service/warranty!

This is one of the best places to wait. Free popcorn, like Les Schwab except they actually refill it when it's out, free drink vending machine, free coffee and hot chocolate, free wifi, free air fresheners, charging station, aquarium and child area. The employees were all nice, the speed of the oil change was fast. I went because of a coupon I'll be returning because of the experience.

If you are looking for a place to get a thorough and detailed estimate on a vehicle you are considering purchasing for a reasonable price, do not hesitate in contacting these folks The report they gave me, was not only thorough but it allowed me to clearly understand what it was I would be getting into if I purchased a Jeep that I had them inspect.

GT Automotive has been great for our vehicles. I m very picky about who I want working on my cars and have always gone out of my way to find good mechanics. When I moved out of range of my previous shop and had to find a new one GT showed up in my search of garages in the area. After reading reviews I decided to give them a shot and I m glad they did. The staff is super friendly and easy to talk to. They do great work and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable about having your car worked on. They even proactively reach out to see how things are going between visits. I ll continue to take my cars to their shop and recommend other so the same.

The whole experience went very quick and easy. Brought it in on Monday without and appointment, and they were a little too busy, so i got one scheduled the next day, they took it for a test drive found the issue, called and let me know another test was needed and let me know exactly how much everything was. even got the brakes done on it as well. Great place!

We took a car for a pre-purchase inspection and Kristin was so incredibly kind and helpful. We had run a carfax on the car prior to the check and I asked several questions about the total loss showing on the vehicle history, and Kristin helped me even though it meant that I did not get that vehicle inspected due to what she helped me learn. We will certainly be bringing any other vehicles we look at to them for inspection after they treated us with so much integrity and courtesy. Thank you Kristin!

GT did a fantastic job repairing my A/C. They worked hard to find the most affordable A/C hose assembly for my car and performed the installation and refrigerant recharge very quickly. Best oil change I ve ever had. They were quick, competent, and very friendly. I liked that I could stay in my car so I didn t have to leave my dog home alone. They also showed me prices for things right at my window and let me pick and choose what I wanted (almost like a fast food drive through). The staff was experienced and they all worked together as a team. They also had a happy demeanor which made the whole experience more comfortable. Everyone who works here is so helpful and friendly! I ve brought my car here exclusively since I moved to the area. I even brought it in once because it was driving funny , after 6 hours of diagnostics, they explained to me that there wasn t anything wrong. They didn t charge me a dime, lie to me or manipulate me. They charge a good price for their incredible services. They have a texting service that keeps you up to date & will even text you your quote. GT replaced the batteries in the remote control key fobs for my car. They did it for me right there at the counter while I waited. (I must admit I was a bit alarmed seeing the fobs in pieces as the work was performed but no need to worry, the worker knew exactly what he was doing! ) And the cost was a BARGAIN! I d previously had this work done at the dealership and it cost more than FOUR times as much as I paid at Gt Great job and Great value at GT all while I waited. Took only minutes
