**EDIT** these guys seemed to have over torqued the lugs as well. So tight I couldn't even get them off with my Milwaukee 1/2 impact. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE IF YOU CARE ABOUT THINGS BEING DONE PROFESSIONALLY!! I brought sports car in here to see if they can find a small clunk in my front end I couldn't chace down myself. They had my car for most of the day the Saturday I was there and couldn't find it. I felt bad they spent time and didn't get paid so I purchased a oil change earlier than normal to make up for it. The next day I go to wash my car and there was dents in my fenders with big greasy hand prints on them where the guy who was looking for the clunkhad pressed down on them in attpts to push the suspension down and make the sound. I brought it back to show them and was told they would get back to me after watching the tapes and have all but ghosted me. I've called twice and was told they would call me right back once talks to "manager" again and never has. I am very disappointed with the professionalism of this place. I won't be spending money here again and may have to take them to small claims court to get this resolved. Stay away if you care about your car. Luckily I have before and after pics of the damage since I wash my car and take pics often. Wish it didn't have to be this way. Photos provided of damage and hand prints. Dent is kinda hard to see but is on fender close to the headlight under handprint on drivers side as well as the passenger side by shock tower/window cowling area. Before I just asked for them to fix the biggest dent and was trying to work with them. Now I will have to take time off work to deal with this. Going to cost more now.** edit, after reading other reviews looks like i am not the first person to deal with the greasy hands on the paint.

Good experience today. I sent in a request last night and got a call this morning from Chris Mallon this morning to confirm and make sure I chose the right tires. He helped narrow down the tires that would work best for the car and confirmed the appointment. When I showed up and met Chris for the first time in person he said the tires were there and ready to go. I asked how long it would take, Chris said a bout an hour and a half with the wheel alignment. I went for a run around town when I got back, the car was in and being worked on. He was right on time. The price was exactly what he outed and I left a happy guy. I would definitely recommend this location and Chris Mallon.

before Jill and her sons sold the store- I would give this store a 10 on a scale of 5. After the new ownership, I have been there twice. I will not be returning. It was not even my car (daughters) and I was being pressured to change out the shocks/struts? $3,000.. She had Honda check them out and they said they were fine.

I would highly recommend this big o.i had a flat on my passenger rear tire. Had no spare fairly new tires. They told me I picked up a nail. had to have my truck towed to .big o. I would like to tell everyone about JENNY! This girl took excellent care of me.had my flat fixed very fast.then told me no charge. THIS GIRL WAS AWESOME! Thank you so much JENNY!

Had an excellent experience with Ramiro. Had taken my car in awhile back for a tire flat and it didn t get fixed. Went to my service center for some recalls and they validated that my flat tire wasn t fixed correctly. I called Ramiro. He genuinely wanted to help me. I dropped my car off last night and by 9am there was a new tire on my car and I was on my way. Thank you for your excellent customer service and for listening to me. Very rarely does a man at a mechanic shop listen to a woman. It was refreshing and much appreciated.

We've been having our cars serviced here for years. I can't speak highly enough of their service. The staff is always friendly and respectful. What sets them apart is that I never feel the need to bring my husband along to ensure a fair price. They've consistently provided reliable service and excellent work.

I had some car problems that was very concerning to me and the first place I looked up that would help at a great cost would be this location. Jenny was absolutely amazing and did everything she possibly could to help me. She listened to everything I had to say and was just a super genuine person.It s hard for me to trust anyone with my car but after today s experience, Jenny is definitely the person I m going to run to for anything and everything. She knows what she s talking about and is very descriptive when explaining what s wrong with the vehicle, even goes out of her way to show you in person which I liked very much because I m still learning about vehicles myself.Big O Tires in Sandy, UT is #1 for me and if I can give 10 stars I would.Thank you Jenny and also to the team for helping me when I needed it so badly.You have a loyal customer :)

They were all so nice and kind, fast service and constant updates on my vehicular. They let me know what was wrong with my car what needed to be taken care of then and what could be held off on if I was low on money. Plus they helped me find a coupon I could use to lower the over all coast of the service so I could easily afford it

I usually don t leave one star reviews, but these folks need to take the feedback and change what they are doing. Looking through the list I m not the only recent one star review either.Literal quote from another Big O location when I told them what happened at the Big O in Sandy really? That doesn t seem normal. Maybe they re getting a little greedy. They absolutely are.I ve come to the Sandy location for years, they ve been so good to me until this past year. They ve tried to (and have) rip me off several times.I ve heard the management changed and that s why they aren t the same.Last spring they read me a whole list of things that were wrong with my steering and tie end rods and quoted me $1,200 worth of repairs. I went to service masters auto to get a second opinion and they told me Big O was wrong on all the things they said were wrong and I got the CV axle fixed for $500. They have the same warranty on fixes as Big O does plus I trust them to be honest with me.Last spring I bought a package for an alignment. The only thing I was told when I bought that package was that I got unlimited alignments done in the year.Fast forward to now. Two days ago I go I n to get an alignment done. They tell me that my tie end rods are bad and quote a fix at $777. I choose instead to go to service masters auto and get the job done for $500.I come back in to Big O for the alignment and they say oh, if you get anything like that fixed somewhere else your alignment package is nullified . Really? And where was that information when I paid for the package?I just came to another Big O location and told them I had a package but it was nullified and the guy behind the counter gave me a weird look. When I explained what happened he said really? That doesn t sound normal. Maybe they re getting a little greedy Then this other location chose to honor my alignment package, even though they don t get any money from it and even though they knew I was ready and expecting to pay for the new alignment.Good thing Big O is franchised. I do like Big O, but this location will not be getting any of my business in the future. They ve had their strikes and now they re out.Be aware if you want to go to this location. Consider going to another nearby location, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A WOMAN. I think they thought they could dupe me because I m a woman and wouldn t know better, but luckily I have a dad I can call/a boyfriend and they tell me when they re full of garbage.

I've had most of my life gone to this Big O!Sence they sold the store nothing but problems, last they didn't torque the rear wheel. My son heading on his first trip almost lost the rear wheel 3 of 5 studs broken two remaining nuts very loose almost losing wheel passing semi just north of Scipio. No response since we sent letter from my lawyer, see you in court!I highly recommend never use this BIG O THEY ABOUT COST ME MY SON'S LIIFEO and I have a very big mouth!!

Best customer service care I ve had in a while. I needed an emergency repair and Jenny Ibarra helped me out so much, close to closing time, and for free. Genuinely an angel on earth. Will definitely work with her again.

Omar Sanchez at Big O Tires in Sandy was amazing! I needed my tire checked because it was flat. They were really busy and I had an appointment I had to be too so he had one of his guys fix it on the side of the building!!! I am so grateful!! I highly recommend going to his store for all your car/tire needs!

Jenny took great care of my wife and I with new tires. She was a treat to deal with over the phone and even a better experience in the shop. Romero was also a genuinely nice guy and took the time to chat with us while Jenny was buttoning up the transaction. This location is great, would definitely recommend to others.

These guys are awesome! Armando has helped me out each visit and he s been so kind, honest, and really helpful. He goes above and beyond and I can really appreciate that. The guys at Big O have always been really great. They know their stuff, they re reliable, and trustworthy. I lived in Sandy so the Sandy location was convenient for me, and although I have now moved to a different town I ll still make the drive here just to work with these guys!

I scheduled an appointment for an oil change at 9:00 am, clearly stating that I would be waiting for the service to be completed. I patiently waited until 11:20 am before inquiring about the delay. To my surprise, the person I spoke to informed me that Chris was handling my car. Expressing my frustration, I discovered that my car had been ready for quite some time, unbeknownst to Chris.Upon making the payment, I left the store only to find that my car was not where Chris had indicated. I had to search behind the shop to locate it in a secluded section. The overall treatment I received felt as if they had provided the oil change for free.I was also informed that having an appointment grants me priority, which, in my case, translated to a 2-hour and 20-minute wait and a game of searching for your car by walking around the premises.Having recently moved from Gainesville, FL, this was my first experience at Big O Tires, and unfortunately, it was far from satisfactory. I will not be returning to this establishment.

I needed car fluids flushed (transmission, radiator, etc). I was quoted promptly with a supportive explanation of parts, labor, & warranties. They proactively performed complimentary checks on winterizing items like battery life & other maintenance based on mileage/vehicle age.Car was returned promptly & with a complimentary ride share so I didn't have to wait. Thanks Taylor & staff for making this mundane but necessary task simple & effortless!

They are great for swapping out snow/summer tires and purchasing tires. I wouldn t let them work on my vehicle. Today I had snow tires put on. Big O called and told me that my rear brakes were not engaging or working at all and it would be about $850 to fix. I told them to hold off and took my car to a local, small shop mechanic. There was nothing wrong with my brakes at all. Pretty lame to lie about something like that. I would not trust them.

Omar was super helpful the day before a big snowstorm when the were super busy and I was about to start my new job he got me in for studded tires with only 2 hours till close. Gave me a great price and made it so I could make it to work on time everyday through the rest of the winter. My family will always come here for tires.

Ramiro the store manager was very knowledgeable and helpful. Trying to explain something that was done with the former ownership and management was a bit difficult. Ramiro knew exactly what I was trying convey! Problem fixed, great experience, and Big O Sandy is still my favorite

Big O Tires has been my tire store for over 20 yrs, but not any more. Took my wife's car in because of a flat tire repair. No sooner left then got a call that tires were at wear mark and needed to be replaced after 22,000 miles. Said proceed. Then got another call that the trailing arm bushings needed to be replaced total cost now $2800 repair, when it was just a flat tire. Did not proceed with suspension repair. I took the car to my mechanic about the suspension and found out everything was tight and no replacement or repairs were required. Up selling services is expected, but not lying for the up sell. They just lost a long time. customer

Big thank you to Omar and his team at Big O Sandy. They are helpful and trustworthy. I have had my car worked on twice in the last six months and both experiences were wonderful. I Would highly recommend them, and I will not be going anywhere else for my auto care.

I was pleased with the work done, and the staff treatment. However, my experience could have been 5 stars had communication been better. The timeframe quoted was 2 hours, so I decided to wait in the lobby, I finally left after 3.5 hours after asking for an update and my vehicle wasn't done until an hour later, so 4.5 hours total. I completely understand things get backed up and take time, but this should be communicated. Little consideration for a customers time goes a long way.

Shout out to Taylor for another great experience.He takes great care of my family and we appreciate knowing he is honest and someone we can trust. I don t want to get caught off guard in a snowstorm. He made sure all our fluids were full and our tires ready for every driving condition. We will definitely be back.

Everything was going good until 2 weeks after I had my tires replaced. Luckily I'm knowledgeable in diagnosing what was wrong they did not torque my front tires after installing the new ones. My truck was getting super squirrels so I pulled over to see what was wrong both of my front tires 8 lugs were almost ready to come completely off the rims these guys could have killed me and my intire family today had I driven even another mile im sure my rims would have come off the truck basically totalling it and me and my family would be another statistic never again big o your future business from me will be. No more check your lug nuts before driving anywhere if you shop this company

Service was excellent and the technician who assisted me was a big help in getting my vehicle back on the road. The price for replacing DPMS sensors was also very reasonable and the work was done in a timely manner.

Omar is an absolutely amazing! Best service we ve had !We followed him from West Jordan cause he s honest & quick with services since our Amazon vans all 68 of them need to stay running! Romero is very helpful as well when Omar is off .

Came for a wheel alignment and the team at this location were great. Superb customer service, answered all my questions without hesitation. Omar did a great job at explaining everything about alignments and about the service they did. Will definitely be coming back for future auto service!
