I have nothing but good things to say about this place! We live two hours away but I would definitely give them my business again in the future. Steve was fantastic to work with. He was friendly and inviting both on the phone and in person. He was not pushy. We told him which car we were interested in and he let us look at that car. No trying to upsell us, no pushing us on more expensive cars. He gave us a fantastic deal! We didn't even realize how good the deal was until we signed papers! The price he quoted included all the dealer fees and taxes, so we didn't end up paying more than expected. The whole process was very smooth and straightforward. So far we love our new car and we will definitely recommend this dealer to friends and family!

IF THIS REVIEW KEEPS ONE OF YOU FROM TAKING YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS SHADY DEALER THAT SPECIALIZES IN SELLING LEMONS , THEN IT'S DONE IT'S JOB.We are a military family that just moved back to the states from living overseas and found this supposedly "great deal" and handed over $25,000 of our hard earned cash to purchase a 2017 Toyota Highlander. We stopped in Utah on leave and thought we'd purchase a nice reliable vehicle to drive to our next duty station in North Dakota. Anyways, less than 90 days later the transmission goes out, its shot, as is the heat shield, and will cost nearly $9k to fix both (as inspected and looked at by two mechanics here in ND including the certified Toyota service center, who are in disbelief that we just purchased this from a scammer).So we reach out, like any other customer would do, asking for help to cover just a fraction of the cost with the $25,000 of cold cash we just handed them less than 90 days ago. We get told by the rude owner, "unfortunately there is nothing we can do", yeah sure. And the way he offers his "help" is to heed his advice--which is to tow the lemon around North Dakota in -50 degree weather and get other mechanics to look at it because his delusion is that the other mechanics are wrong. Talk about a slap in the face while he's taking our money to the bank. Then, he finally acknowledges that he did sell a bad vehicle and offers to fix it for another $5,000 on top of what we gave him... cool thanks for the offer, is he going to pay to have it towed back across the country so he can fix his lemon/scam? NOPE, that was a hard no from him too.Luckily some amazing people out here took care of us after hearing about our story and how we just got scammed $25k and gave us a huge and generous offer to get this lemon off our hands and discard the thing. Clearly not all mechanics and dealers are scammers out there, except, you name it, OREM AUTO OUTLET!It's so unfortunate my family is THE 4TH victim in the last 12 months, per the reviews!!!! Are we seeing a trend here yet with this sleeze ball dealer and scamming owner??? Totally. But I believe karma will come when you scam too many people. Like I said if this saves you and your family from losing a-lot of money going to this dealer, then it's done it's job. I am considering getting together with this dealer's other victims and getting our stories out there to prevent more people in the community from being taken advantage of by this cancer. Because if he's scamming 16 years olds and military service members, then nothing will stop him from scamming anyone else.Stay classy Orem Auto Outlet and enjoy the karma (and my $25k).

We recently purchased a vehicle from Steve about 3 months ago paid $8,000 cash for a 2007 suburban, now the transmission is broken and it hasn t even been 3 months, don t buy cars here you will loose your money, very disappointed and unsatisfied customer .

Got me a 98 prizm from Billy. Love the car runs smooth drives great. And unlike other dealerships. That make buying car a living nightmare. Billy made it fast and easy. Definitely will be going back and referring Friends there.

Went with my daughter here to buy her first car.What an Amazing experience.Steve Shepherd our salesman, couldn't have been BETTER!He put on new tires, fixed oil leaks, and without telling her he fixed the crack in the sideview mirror.Make Steve at Orem Auto Outlet your first stop! You won't regret it!Be prepared to be shocked how honest they are.Just hope he's got the car you want, otherwise you'll have to go elsewhere, which will be a disappointment.COME SEE WHAT GREAT DEAL YOU CAN GET FROM Orem Auto Outlet!

Do not buy a automobile at this outlet! We purchased a Hyundai just 2 weeks ago and now it s not running!!! The car started shaking and engine made a terrible noise. We took it back to the outlet and they said there is nothing they can do. What about reliability? What about honesty you expect when you purchase a car???? We paid more than this vehicle is worth because we are in great need of one to get to and from work, and now we are left at a loss!! Please don t waste your hard earned money at this place. Go elsewhere to a more reputable auto sales business. The salesman did not give us any discount when we purchased the vehicle, he said I need to feed my family ???? But at what cost? Now we are not able to drive to work. Out family is affected? This is not ok, makes me very sad for other people like us that will be tricked into buying a car at this place. If you have similar stories, please share because others need to be warned.Also, before we bought the Hyundai we were considering another SUV they had. We looked underneath the vehicle and it was full of grease coming form the engine. Something was leaking and it did not look good! That s was a red flag and we didn t listen. So don t make the same mistake as us! Don t do business at this location!

Worked with Steve on a Ford Edge, it needed a few repairs he said I ll have my mechanic look, I expected the typical nothing is wrong call. I was wrong everything I brought up was fixed and I left a very happy customer

My husband and I went to 5 different dealerships, looking for THAT special car when I say we ve never had better service, I MEAN IT. Steve was absolutely amazing and so straight forward, kind and patient with us. We found that perfect car for my family and he was so quick to help us and get everything sorted out! 10/10 would recommend over and over again.

I had a really great experience with Steve! He was very straightforward from the beginning and throughout the process. Even when it was snowing, he allowed me to test drive the truck I was looking at and ended up purchasing! I honestly would not mind going thru him again and I strongly recommend him! I changed my mind on one thing when it came to the paperwork and he was more than happy to update that for me before I signed! I love my new truck and very thankful that he did not rush me and was very friendly! Thank you Steve!

We had an unfortunate experience at Orem Auto Outlet with Billy. My daughter had been saving money since she was 13 and had saved up $15K to buy her car. She found a cute Mini Cooper with a clean title. She bought the car outright. The car had nearly new tires on it. The bad part was the tire wear started to show very uneven tire tread wear quickly. My daughter decided to trade it in and only got $7K trade in value. The reason: the car had a bent frame (hidden by the newer tires that didn t show the uneven wear patterns). I was sad to have had my daughter lose that much money because of dishonest issues with title (clean title; but it wasn t actually) and repairs done in a fashion to not reflect that upon the title. Had we known, we would not have purchased the car and especially done it at that price. Lesson learned. If you buy a car from Billy, I would have it inspected by a mechanic that can lift it and check all of the functioning.

My daughter and I came from out of town to looking for a car for her to use at college. We found one we liked at Orem Auto Outlet, Steve was very helpful throughout the entire process. She was preapproved for a loan but it was a holiday and the credit union was closed. With a little money down we were able to take the car home and finish the payment the following day from home.

I was calling about a few vehicles Friday the guy I spoke to was very nice and said they could definitely put me in something. So I called just now Monday about two SUVs I was interested in. And before I could even start asking about the vehicle i was cutt off and told we don't accept payments I never once even mentioned I wanted to do payments I had cash in hand and I said that he said oh!!! Like why would you just assume that I don't want to work with a dealership that's says one thing one day and cuts me off the next not willing to work with customers is not good

Bought a 2011 GMC from here about a month ago. Wanted to wait to see how the truck works before giving five stars. Truck runs great still with no issues. As for the purchasing experience, it was the most straightforward I have ever had. Walked in knowing the truck I wanted to look at, test drove it, loved it and went to the bank to buy it. I ended up spending more time at the bank than I did at Orem Auto Outlet. Guys there were honest and down to earth, which I really appreciate. Can't stand large car dealerships that seems like they are trying to get me into a vehicle as though their lives depend on it. Steve was a straight shooter and it felt like it was no skin off his back whether or not I bought the truck. He knew it was a good truck, I knew it was a good truck, and so I bought it.For all those negative reviews, used cars are used cars. Unless you know the previous owner, there is no way fro anyone to know how that person drove and maintained that car. Was regular maintenance performed or were they an oil change once every 15k miles kinda person? Did they gun it every time the light turned green? Did they add features themselves and not know what they are doing? It's unrealistic to think that a car inspection would reveal those kinds of things.In summary great place, great truck, highly recommend.

Steve was amazing! My husband and I went looking for a truck and we left with one. He was very easy to work with and made the process super smooth. He was helpful and efficient with all our questions. Definitely recommend anyone to come here and check out their lot!

I just purchased a full-sized pick up truck from Steve today. The whole experience went very smooth. I love how quickly I was able to get in and out of there. Steve was super knowledgeable, yet he kept his distance and let me peruse around without feeling uncomfortable. Overall a great experience and I'd be happy to purchase another vehicle here again if they had what I needed.

Flew out to by a car from Steve and his team. Had a good experience and no hassle negotiations on additional warranties/fees which is great as a buyer. Car did need some additional repairs that I wasn t aware of, but they did invest a good chuck on money already into it so that s assuring that they want their vehicles to be up to par. Wish they had a specialist look at the vehicle prior to me finding that out on my own after I purchased it as some of these repairs should have been spotted by the naked eye. All in all happy with Steve and his team and would buy another car from them if I live anywhere on the western slope.

I just bought a truck from here and it seems to be great and I really like it. Steve is a great guy to work with and not pushy at all. He was willing to work with me on the price and I couldn t be more happier. Highly recommended to buy a vehicle from here.

Hadn't really planned on buying a car right away. We were thinking of an older Suburban to haul grandkids in. We knew from an on-line ad that Orem Auto Outlet had one, so when we were driving by one day we stopped to look. The car was nicer than we were expecting, and we became interested. Billy Escotto made this an easy buying experience. No hype, BS, or pressure like you usually get at most places.We're pleased with Billy, the Suburban, and Orem Auto Outlet..

I believe in giving fair reviews based on attitude and efforts demonstrated by employees and/or owners. I feel to many people are too quick to give bad reviews because it is easier to blame than to take responsibility for ones own decisions.Our 17 year daughter, with our help, bought a 2011 Ford F-150 with 260,000 miles. Higher miles than we would have preferred, but that was a truck in her price range. First night with it, the engine seized up. So we towed it back to them. We had bought a service contract (because it was old and had a ton of miles) so just figured we would have to have them figure out what went wrong and fix it.Instead, they allowed us to choose a different truck for her and kept the other one and will be fixing it themselves to resell.I gave them a 5 star because it wasn t their fault the engine seized up. These things happen. Especially on an older vehicle. We made the choice to purchase a truck with 260,000 miles knowing something could go wrong. That was on us.But they bent over backwards to help us choose a different truck and didn t even try to hold us to the first truck or charge us anything for it. I don t know another dealer that would have reacted the same way.When buying an older vehicle, buyers need to have realistic expectations. Don t blame the dealer. Older vehicles with higher miles have risks. That is why I made sure to buy a service contract (warranty).

Bought a car about 3 weeks ago drove from southern Utah to pick up only to find damage that wasn't mentioned, self tapping screws into the body puncturing the spare tire, along with mold on the passanger side of the carpet. Had to fix suspension two weeks later, has a fuel issue to where it's not getting enough fuel into the motor, trans is leaking as well and all this came up after I had bought it tried to call about it never got an answer back. Would've liked to at least work something out with him but dont think I'll go back or recommend anyone to go to him.

Definitely NOT recommended. Take any vehicle for a thorough check with someone you trust before purchase or do not shop from this dealer. Test drove and bought first vehicle for my daughter which she loved. Engine died before the first payment was due. The mileage was reported well under what was on the odometer. Call to dealer and owner was basically a 'your problem now' resolution, absolutely no assistance. And the dealership owner questioned where we towed the vehicle for service. I understand that a used vehicle will have problems but the attitude was terrible and no ones deserves to be treated that way. Car was only driven to school, work and internship at a local fire department ambulance service.

This place is great. Before going to Orem Auto Outlet, we went to a dealership in Bountiful. They were rude and you could tell they cared more about comissions from newer cars and not about getting us into the car we needed for our family. Orem Auto cared about our experience and both the car we bought from them and the one we traded. I seriously recommend this Outlet.

Amazing experience with Dan Griggs at Orem Auto Outlet. He was patient, professional, knowledgeable, and we couldn t have been happier with the price. Stay away from this business! They re a complete scam! They buy worthless vehicles, pretty them up and sell them to unsuspecting customers. Unless you want to pay thousands and thousands in repairs, go somewhere else. My $16k vehicle has cost me almost $10k in repairs.
