Watching them fix my exhaust was amazing. Fast, efficient, effortless, perfect. They made it look so easy. I stopped by just for a consultation and a price quote and they had it fixed in just a few minutes for a very reasonable price. I was so impressed! I am recommending this shop to everyone I know.

I called 3 other places with outrageous estimates and a week timeliness. I went here... saved me hundreds of dollars and days of time. I highly recommend Alvarez!!! Alvarez Muffler in Ogden was spectacular. Customer service was welcoming, work is quality and how quickly the turnaround. I took my 98 4 Runner in on a Saturday morning, got there early and it took less than an hour. I had them replace my exhaust, cat back that I brought with me(OEM replacement nothing special) and they charged me a very fair price. I definitely recommend!!!

I was quoted $ upwards of $1200 for 2 catalytic converters for my truck by another well known exhaust shop. Alvarez did it for $850 the same day that I called him. Only took 2 hours too. He's gained a customer moving forward

Wow! Great service. We have a school bus we are converting. I had to replace the motor resulting in the exhaust not matching up with the new motor. I connected them with flex pipe. Took it to these guys and the did an awesome job at raising the exhaust and welding it together. Very reasonable price. I ll definitely be back and also refer my friends to this place.

I looked up muffler shops in Ogden and after reading the reviews for Alvarez Muffler, I decided to give him a try. Man, that was the BEST decision I've made all year long. I called him and asked if I could bring my daughters car in for a muffler service and he told me to come on down. Once I got there, he immediately put my car on the lift and started to diagnose the issue. He pointed out what was wrong and told me it would be about $75 and take him about 45 minutes. Right there I knew that he was very knowledgeable and wasn't out to gouge the fellow working man. I asked him to replace the whole muffler instead and it was 40% less than any other shop around. I left my car there and in about 2 hours, he called me back and said it was ready to be picked up. We've been driving the car around for about a month and the muffler is absolutely perfect. Nice and quiet and no rattling whatsoever. If you're looking for an honest muffler repair guy that is really affordable and does great work, look no further. Don't go anywhere else for your muffler need. Alvarez Muffler is the real deal.AAAA++++

Can't say enough positive about this place and Ishmael, the guy who took care of us. My wife's car needed some exhaust work done and right away. Ishmael was VERY responsive, handling several phone calls and getting us in the same day (he said he's usually pretty busy, but we were fortunate!). He lifted the car and determined what the problem was (bad flex pipe) and had a new one welded in within 1/2 hour. The whole process was so easy and delightful! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!Oh, and the price was extremely reasonable. I won't say how much here because I don't want to mislead someone who may have a different situation and it's more money for them. But it was only a very small fraction of what we were afraid it might cost. And did I mention that all this happened within 1/2 hour?!? Because it only took him 1/2 hour to get us out the door. Super happy with the experience. Ishmael is amazing. He will be getting all my muffler work from now on.Thank you so much, Alvarez Muffler!

Very good place to fix your muffler I went in for a performance muffler and they decided they would fix the whole piping system and they did it in about 2 hours I came back and it was perfect and sounded great I really do like this place.

Had a hole in my flex pipe and was able to get that replaced for a good price and was actually pretty fast I was in and out of there. Great place if you need to repair your exaust

Sometimes in life a man needs to hack his muffler system out of a perfectly quiet running truck, and install a performance muffler! This helps the man establish self esteem and other important attributes. I haven't laughed with full joy like I did yesterday afternoon when Ishmael helped me achieve some of my swagger back. I came here to get my catalytic converter replaced and they were very friendly, timely and the welds looked great. I did bring my own cat, so I don't know what your wait times or pricing would be like otherwise, but overall I'm very satisfied with having come here. The shop is very small and VERY easy to miss though. My only real complaint is that parking was a bit rough, particularly over all the ice and potholes.

I needed a section of exhaust pipe replaced and everything secured back in place, and I didn't want to deal with someone trying to talk me into a new muffler for my 19-year-old car. I arrived when they opened, said what I was looking for, and was out the door in 20 minutes with exactly that, at a very reasonable price. It seems like it's hard to get anything done these days, this was so easy. Highly recommend!Service: Exhaust

These guys are awesome! They got my car straight on the lift when I arrived. The other reviews are accurate; they had me in and out FAST!!! They replaced my flex pipe for a super reasonable price. They even cleared out a clog I had so I can use my windshield wiper fluid again, for free. Highly recommended!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Alvarez Muffler is Awesome. I had been shopping for a muffler upgrade to a Flow Master and had visited various other locations, one place wanted to set up an appointment to give me a quote a waste of day, to get an over priced muffler set up. The other competitor was rude and bothered that I had visited his location and even stated, I am on lunch if you come back with money we can talk and order your muffler, his price was out of wack as well. Elias at Alvarez muffler saw my vehicle looked under it, said yes I can do this, we set up a time and selected product, I got a Flow Master and Exhaust Tip for under 100.00 less than other quotes of muffler only. He was fast, neat and clean with his work, the vehicle sounds great and tip looks awesome. Thank You for the work, I recommend this shop for exhaust work compared to other locations in town.Service: Exhaust

You will not be disappointed with Alvarez muffler! I didn t pass emissions and was told that my catalyst was tampered. We first went to Midas for a quote and they told us that we needed a whole new catalytic converter and quoted us $1,090. We had heard from a family member to try Alvarez first before going through with Midas. After the mechanic at Alvarez looked at our car, he determined all we needed was a new flex pipe. He charged us $117 for the part and labor! Great price, great work, great service!! I will for sure be coming back!Service: Exhaust

Really satisfied with the work done on my 1978 Mercury. Alvarez was easy to work with, talked through the solutions for my car, and quickly turned around a clean job in just a couple hours. Their prices are also very fair. Will be coming back for my other cars.

This place is great they had me in and out in less than 30 minutes and my cars exhaust works like new. They fit me in the next day and the pricing was very fair. Had a loose exhaust pipe on my van that squeaked and rattled when I went over a bump. Was pretty sure a hanger was broken. Called up Alvarez Muffler, and they told me to come right in even though it was 4:30 pm. He put it up on the lift, found the 2 broken hangers right behind the muffler, and fabricated 2 new hangers right there. Didn't mind that I was watching what he was doing. I was maybe there for 15 minutes. Fast, competent, and accomodating. Fair price. Will come here again.

Awesome service! Got me a brand new muffler on my 95 Chevy C1500 in a couple of hours for $100 total! Would definitely use again.
