This place is fantastic. He does the work fast for a reasonable price. Offered us some tomatoes from his tomato plant while we waited in the waiting room which is an old house boat. We ll be coming back here if we need any mechanical help in this area in the future!

I was stuck on the Notom Road outside of Hanksville and when I say stuck I mean stuck. I contracted with Dave and Will of Rabbitbrush to pull me out. I would never recommend driving the Notom Road when it is wet but if you re dumb enough to do it as I was these are your team. They got me out of a helluva mess. They were amazing!!!!

Our brakes gave out heading down a mountain toward Capitol Reef (scary for sure). It was a Saturday, with everyone closed until Monday. Owner, Dave, answered his phone while out of town, picked up the brakes we needed, good ones since we were hauling a travel trailer. We met him Monday morning, new brakes within an hour, and headed on our merry way. Thank you so much Dave for your friendly, helpful, efficient service. This is a top notch establishment! Who would have thought I would have gotten the best vehicle service in my life in Hanksville? Dave is extremely friendly and helpful. One of the most honest mechanics I have everyone encountered. He will always give you a fair price and be transparent. On top of this he is very accommodating and treats you like family. Never done one of these reviews before but it is well deserved. Pulled in and Dave immediately walked out and patched my tire in 10 minutes. Price was also low when he could have easily charged more.

A critical check engine alert (light blinking) left my wife and me stranded while visiting Lake Powell. We imagined hours of delay and untold cost with no major repair facilities nearby.We were up and running again within half an hour of Dave's arrival and at a price that was more than fair! An unscrupulous person could easily charge many times what Dave did. We thank him for his integrity. His expert diagnosis and savvy repair skills got us to Blanding where we completed the repair with the part he recommended. We can't thank Dave enough. We got caught in a flash flood and Dave didn't hesitate to help us. We had called three tow companies and none of them were enthusiastic about helping us get the car towed out.Within 30 minutes, Dave picked me up and then drove down to the car through several miles of thick mud and gravel to get our car. It was amazing.He pulled the car out no problem even when everyone we had talked to had said it would be impossible. He charged us so little for the amount of gas, time, and equipment he had to use to get us out.THEN he fixed our car at his shop and had it ready the next morning. He drove it right to our motel.He was extremely friendly and eager to help. Very competent and the only mechanic I have ever tipped.My wife, 2-year old, and I are so grateful that Dave set up shop in Hanksville.He rescued us and our vacation.We highly recommend his company and will be visiting him next time we come to Utah on vacation.

I got stuck in mid west of Hanksville. Dave came out and helped me out while being very professional, funny and friendly. I was in a tough spot but was extremely satisfied with this company's services.I never want to get stuck again but if I do and it's in this area, this is the person/company I know will get me out of trouble! Thanks again and BTW I found my glasses!

Wow, I can say his place is a bit country and a bit different.But He was headed out to me before I could even stop my truck.He had me set up with a new trailer tire and on our way in about fifteen minutes. I was surprised to say the least that he even had the tire I needed in that little town. Then got me taken care of extremely fast as well We where back on the road faster than I could believe. Pricing was good as well. Yes if I need I will be stopping in again thanks for the fast prompt service and helping us too achieve our vacation plans.

Highly recommend if you are needing vehicle help. Our camp trailer lost a wheel passing through Hanksville. We called David and he showed up in minutes, and was able to get us fixed up and on the road in less than an hour. David was very nice and even had stickers for the kids.

Got a screw through my tire. First one ever and it happened to be on a long trip. Rabbitbrush was open early enough on a weekend that it was worth just stopping by to get it patched up. He worked quickly and was very personable. Got the job done in a reasonable amount of time and the patch has held for another 1000 miles so far with zero issues. Highly recommend! Great, friendly service.

After driving for almost 150 miles with no cell phone reception on a tire donut we rolled into Rabbitbrush. Service was fast, friendly and affordable. He really could have charged us a lot since it was obvious we were tourists. He fixed our tire and put it back on within minutes. We are so thankful!!

My husband and I lost a tire off our boat trailer pulling it to Lake Powell.Dave was recommended and he was wonderful.Knowledgeable, friendly, ordered the hub we needed overnight and repaired the trailer the very next day. I can't say enough about his curtious and reasonable service. Thank you Dave.

After having an accident with a cow 20 miles outside of Hanksville, we called Dave to help us. Dave offered quick and competent service at a reasonable rate!He got our car running again in no time. We are very thankful for the great, friendly and fast service Dave offered us! Thanks again, we would have been lost without you.Already ordered the BEEFMASTER decal for our car :-)

We woke up to a low tire and couldn't get to the stem, we called Dave at Rabbitbrush Repair and he said to stop by. He had us stay in the cab for COVID safety and did all the work in 15 minutes and charged us a fair price. Highly recommend!Service: TiresService: Tires

If you are going anywhere near Goblin Valley, The Swells, Lake Powell have this man's number on hand, so that when you do find a phone you are prepared, you will thank me later. Our Jeep broke down in the Mountains. We had to hike for a few hours to find help. Not only did the Ranger at Goblin Valley not want to help us, but the first tow guys numbers he gave us (I think they pay him for referrals) only would pick up 2 of us and expected to leave the dogs and 1 of us stranded for hours, and their price was insain. Finally the Ranger after seeing me so frustrated after hours, oh and it was now time for him to go home so he wanted me outta his hair, he then decided to give me Daves. He was so kind. Music to my ears, he could tell I was extremely frustrated. He said no problem whatever you need. Not only did he come get ALL of us but he set us up with a hotel for the night, as it was too late by the time the ranger decided to give me his number. In the morning he got the Jeep out and was able to fix it. Very very fair reasonable price compared to others that would only take 2 of us. Most kind helpful man ever. Best customer service I have ever had.

Dave gave me a tow to Green River when my clutch went out in Hanksville. He was booked out a few weeks at his shop so he helped me make a plan to get my truck fixed as soon as possible. I was towing a boat to Bullfrog when my truck went to low power before hitting Hanksville. I wound up pulling into Rabbitbrush where the truck turned itself off. Dave was out on a call fixing a boat at the marina but Ponda came out and wound up calling Dave who told here were the car scanner was and that I could use it to clear the code. I did that and they didn't charge me for it "talk about helpful!" On the way back from Powell we had decided it would be easier to put the boat in storage and we felt Rabbit Brush was the place. So we wintered it there. Dave winterized the boat and had it ready to run on our first trip out with no problems. He's fixed trailer tires and replaced them and has done all the services along the way for a very fair price with a high degree of skill "meaning complex problems that pop up on older boats". I don't normally give overly high praise to any business however this one has gone way above and beyond. If you use them I think you'll be happy.Services: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic

After I stopped to fill up at a Hanksville gas station, my truck would not start. I called a towing company, who recommended I first call Rabbitbrush to do a diagnostic. I called Dave, he immediately came to my truck, did a diagnostic and found that my starter motor wires had come loose. He fixed it, charged a fair price, saved me a towing fee and I was back on the road. Great service from a true expert. Thanks, Dave.Service: Electrical

I had an excellent experience at Rabbitbrush. The owner is courteous, friendly,professional and knowledgable. I had a popped tire and he replaced the popped tire with a used tire that matched the tread on my other three tires within 20 minutes of arrival. As we were just travelling through and needed to hit the road quickly, Rabbitbrush did an exceptional job. Highly recommend.

I called needing some tires to replace one of mine that had an unreparable hole. The owner was easy to work with, knew exactly what I needed and was able to get me on the road again quickly without charging me an arm and a leg. Very fair pricing and very helpful. I would definitely use him again!
