Very friendly woman working the counter, and a hilarious hand washing sign in the (women's) bathroom. Great selection of hats. Pretty cool to see the rocks in the back of the store.

Best selection of goods that are useful during travelling. I'd say it is the best selection I have ever seen near gas stations. You can find healthy food, no added sugar, nuts, jerkies and also usual fat or sugar bombs unhealthy snacks. Clean restrooms. And yes, it's built INSIDE a big rock!

I just watched the YouTube video about this place! WOOOW!! AMAZING, conservative way of life. I really want to get away from the city. I Know you probably didn't want to show this place but thank you for doing so. Invest in Gold, Silver. Patriots.

This is the coolest Sinclair gas station. I live in East but the West and specifically Utah is always my choice of travel destination. I love the Sinclair gas stations so when I saw this one we had to stop. The young employees the nicest! There is also a variety of filling snacks, including frozen burritos, ramen, etc. they have microwaves available so you can warm up your food and there is even a coffee machine that does fancy coffee lol I didn t see any but they just need to sell Sinclair Dino merchandise and they ll be extra perfect. Also, I m loving the cat in hieroglyphics!!

Stopped here on our way from capital reef park to the arches park. Neat looking facility. Clean bathrooms and has most quick convenience store needs. The price of gas was not high like other out of the way gas stations. The outside needs some upkeep but for the most part will serve your needs.

Great location, your chance to shop inside a nice and cool cave! Especially cool place In the summer. Expected convience store snacks, souvenirs plus some fair priced healthier options like raw almonds/pumpkin seeds ($2.99/5oz) and some organic and nongmo items.

Nice place. Clean restrooms. Friendly people working there. Every morning during our vacation in the area, I chatted with the nicest lady. She would ask about our prior day adventures and what we had planned for the day. She gave advice about the area.

Very unique store attached to the gas station and well worth a stop for travelers on their way to Capitol Reef National Park. The shop is built right into the rock and has everything a normal convenience store would have plus a little gift shop. The bathrooms were notably very clean, a welcome sight after nearly an hour off the interstate with narry a tree

I like how the youtube dude tries to keep everything anonymous but the places are so easy to find.

Reasonable gas right at the crossroads; fun story behind the Hollow Mountain (it really is a hollow mountain). Friendly folks run it and it has clean bathrooms.

This should be a roadside attraction in its own right. A fine gas station, and when you enter the store, you go under- and into a mountain. The store has a wonderful selection of snacks, I particularly enjoyed their nut lineup. Also: cleanest, nicest bathrooms I encountered on a very long road trip. The owner's erudition and his uncanny sense of humor is well showcased in the bathroom, where it is not the usual EMPLOYEES MUST WAS HANDS sign that meets the weary traveler; but one devised by the man himself. On the return, instead of the owner there was a lovely woman at the front desk who had something sweet to say to everyone. This is a fine establishment and I strongly encourage you to get your gas here.

Very cool store and fueling station. Fuel isnt much higher than Green River. Staff had no personality and didn't want to answer any questions about the area.

Stopped here on my way to hike Mount Ellen (one of Utah's Ultra 8's).Interesting refreshments, friendly clerk. Surprisingly reasonable gas prices. Interior is, of course, hollowed out of a mountain, which is a neat gimmick. I got a good chuckle out of their legally-obligated "You have to wash your hands" signs for employees in the restrooms.I'd stop here again if I were headed that way. But unless you're headed to Bullfrog or the Henry's, there's nothing down there (it's the last gas station for 120-odd miles).

The prices were a little high, it was a cool place to visit on a heat wave day.UPDATE: The owner's comment about high transportation costs causing higher prices makes sense, Hanksville really is a remote location. I've added a star. It really was a great stop after a long hot drive up 95 with a balky AC.

The store is inside a giant rock, very cool! They also have a great selection of everything you would expect at a gas station and reasonable prices considering the location
