Room was big, clean and affordable. Staff was super nice. State park 10 mins away was amazing. Really great place to stay!!!! No complaints at all.

Very interesting place. It's a gas station, motel/cabins, diner, convenience store, gift shop, adventure/rental center, and gun store. The staff works multiple jobs and they were always courteous. I ordered the chicken bacon grinder from the diner. I didn't have high expectations but it was actually really good. My friend had a different chicken sandwich and also said it was delicious.

Based on other high reviews of this place, perhaps we were just unlucky. The sheets on one bed had obviously not been washed - there were not just bits of random scuz on them, but what appeared to be blood on one of the pillowcases? As you can see in the picture, it was clearly not just an old stain. The other bed's sheets we could live with although we did find a few pieces of hair on them (as we just needed to get to sleep, we did not raise this with the staff). Additionally, the AC/heating unit in our room was not working. Fortunately we discovered this minutes before the office closed (at 8:00 PM), and the staff tried their best to fix it but ultimately couldn't and wound up bringing a space heater over for us to use for the night. I will say the staff were very nice and the pizza we got from the lodge's restaurant (which also closes at 8:00 PM) was pretty decent. If the beds had been clean and the heat working, this would've been a nice place to stay, as the separate rooms made for good privacy and no hearing other guests. However, we couldn't feel comfortable in the room because of the above problems (and couldn't swap to another - they were fully booked).

We stayed here for the solar eclipse and got here after the lodge closed. I felt bad because I didn t know they closed at 8 but the employee called me and checked me in over the phone and gave me the code to the room and the WiFi password. Room was very spacious and tidy, nothing amazing about the beds but they were comfortable. The bathroom could use updated but was fine. I d stay here again!

Great room for the price wifi wasn't great beds were comfortable the room was clean the tv channels weren't bad is next to Manti-La Sal National Forest with a well maintained 4�4 gravel road to the top of a mountain. The lodge has some big toys for getting around and 4�4ing for rent. There is also a state campground with electricy and water about 15 mins or less on the same way to manti. Also there are other national forests within an hour of the lodge. The game room was messed up but you could play pool chess or air hockey the tv remote doesn't work we tried new batteries. Overall a great stay and we would stay again.Nearby activities: Wonderful national parks nearby

We stayed for a family reunion. The cabin we stayed in was newer and across the street from the main complex. The cabin had 2 queen beds, a separate room with a pretty good sized shower and a toilet, a sink outside of that room, a mini fridge, microwave, and a great AC unit. Also, the internet was good enough for me to be on a zoom call with 23 people and keep my video on without issues. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and I would love to come back again some time!

We had a great experience booking with Big Mountain Lodge. It was last minute and we came in after the hotel closed. Jared was very helpful and made sure we had all the details to find our room. The room was comfortable and clean. Exactly what we were looking for. If you are trying to work the internet is a bit slow but this is a perfect vacation spot!

We had an amazing time at Big Mountain Lodge. The staff was very friendly and the rooms are big. Very nice and clean. Had a little bit of a hard time with the cold water. Brought it to their attention and they came and fixed it right away. It started again, but we didn't say anything until we were checking out. They were very appreciative that we mentioned it. Very appologetic as well. We will certainly be back! 4.5 would be more appropriate!

The room was clean and very roomy lots of space for two people! Nice accommodations. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful and we had a great stay.The cabins and rooms are clean and spacious with everything you need. GREAT food in the restaurant and the store.Convenient access to Skyline Drive. Dana Lynn took care of us for everything we needed.

This was a great last minute stay when our Airbnb in castle dale had some issues.The room was comfy and very clean. The internet could ve been better for working in the morning, but overall a nice space to relax.Nearby activities: Close to the park, golf course, off road rental and climbing.

The room was clean and very roomy lots of space for two people! Nice accommodations no problems with any of the appliances or anything! Management was super friendly offering us food either at their restaurant or through their other food option in their grocery store, as well as making sure everything was to our satisfaction and made sure to let us know that if we ever needed something to just let them know and they would help fix any possible issues (of which there were none!) Overall very pleasant experience looking forward to my next stay with big mountain lodge!

This town has very little choice when it comes to accommodations. These cabins could have been mediocre. Instead, however, these little cabins were very nice, clean, and comfortable. They even had a little restaurant and general store. We had breakfast burritos that were great before a long day of riding. Highly recommend if you re in the area.

Jared was very kind and accommodating when I made a mistake with my reservation thank you! Everyone we met was friendly and helpful and we had a great stay. We stayed in a new king cabin. It was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a relaxing night after exploring the San Rafael Swell all day. Diner food was deeply satisfying. We stayed in one of the new cabins. A note of constructive criticism - the room could use a place to put your clothes...either a dresser or at the very least a luggage rack. Only place to hang up a few things was the hanging rack on the back of the bathroom door. The mini-split is very efficient, but a few throw rugs would be nice, as the concrete slab is very cold on bare feet. But overall, a quiet, comfortable night.

No housekeeping service for the four days that I was there. The bathroom toilet was tiny and very uncomfortable. The walls must be cardboard- no sound dampening at all. There were not any plastic drink cups available to use for getting a drink. The plug in air freshener was so strong and annoying that I removed it. The rooms smell was still overwhelming and unpleasant - too perfumed- not a bad smell, just way too much scent.

We had a great time staying at Cabin 4. It was clean and spacious and didn't feel cramped. The hot water was hot and the AC was great.The staff were very friendly. It was close to Mill site state park with it's lake and the beds were comfy. Great for a little 2 hour getaway from the city. 10/10 would stay here again.

The cabins are clean and spacious with everything you need. GREAT food in the restaurant and the store cafe. Fuel available on site and UTV rentals available too. Convenient access to mountain and desert riding right from the cabins. I highly recommend.

The rooms are spacious and beautiful. OMG ...the mattresses were so comfy! Area is quiet, a lot of services at the lodge, the food is awesome. Staff were very nice and helpful.

The floor in the room was very dirty. There was food in the fridge from the previous guest(s). The people were very nice. We rented an ATV and despite protestations, we were given one without a windshield. The ATV was not as advertised. Riding was not a pleasant experience because there was no protection.

Now realize that this is a 2 month old cabin. Cob webs on lap shade, concrete floors very cold and slick, couldn't use the thermostat had to use my cell phone to call the front office, no paper to tell you what channels on tv. Table so small you can only use for one person. Chair so heavy you couldn't hardly move it. Bed was short sheeted on a King size bed. 2 sheets on the bed that they felt were blankets. Every time I walked around the bed I would scratch my legs on the metal frame. No cabinet or chest of drawers to hang a coat in or put closes in. No Ironing board or Iron. I had ate at their restaurant a month before and had pizza , so greasy and burnt. They did give me 50percent off the Pizza. Then to get to #10 you had to make a running start in the parking lot. There was more wrong. But I figure that was enough to talk about. I paid $210.00 with tax.
