The day before Thanksgiving I was driving by to meet with family. My tire exploded on the free way and got to Walmart 5 minutes before they closed. I was totally okay with just leaving my car off and letting them place a new one 2 days later. But their whole team said no problem we will do it right now. They were willing to help even though they didn t need to. They didn t even make it seem like the inconvenience it actually was. Super great

I called ahead to see if they had openings, and they asked me to bring my car at 6:15. I came in about 6:12 and they told me "Bro, we're about to close, so you kinda missed out. You're going to have to do it tomorrow", I was ok with thst, but since I called ahead I said "oh I believe I have an appointment, you guys told me to come at 6:15, it okay if you guys can't". I literally just wanted to let them know I wasn't a walk in. Employee proceeded to laugh and said "have a good day" as he turned around and walked away. I drive closer and asked for their open hours, and his name he asked why, to which I said just asking so I could come tomorrow. He replied "7 to 7" and I had to ask his name again. After a couple of times he said what I believe was "Greg" I asked for confirmation, but he once again laughed and in a burlesque way said "Greg" (I think, as it was inaudible), and turned his back on me again and walked into the bukding laughing.Cheap experience at Walmart? Expected. But at least I ask for respect to my person. I literally was legit nice and was treated with so much disrespectbin return. I'd like to ask the young gentleman that what have I ever done for him to treat me so disrespectfuly, but he just waled away, an probably would do it again.I'm not even mad, just surprised.

I needed my oil changed and fluids checked so I checked online that Walmart auto could change my oil and check my fluids (their website said they would check my fluids when doing the oil change), so I took my car in and specifically asked about getting the fluids checked I was assured that the fluids would be checked and the check was included in the oil change. After leaving I looked at the receipt and it said I declined getting my all of my fluids except for the wiper fluid checked, so I called back and asked why and apparently they couldn t check those fluids because they re in a closed system and I will need to go to a professional service to get them done. I wish I would ve been notified before they did the oil service on my car, so I wouldn t have to go to a second location for my fluid check.Service: Oil change

Was there to fix my tire although I told them when I dropped it off I had the road side package that my late husband had paid for but it was under his name.... when I came back to pick it up they tried to charge me $$ saying they couldn't find the warranty lucky my husband was good about saving receipts and I was able to get it from the glove box to prove it..... almost felt like they either didn't believe I was related to him or that I didn't have it to prove it. Was very upsetting having to explain he passed, I'm his wife etc....

I bought four tires at Centerville ut and they did not offer me an extender warranty. I had a damage in my tire on the road, and when I went for repair or replace they did not change my tire because I was Not offer the road assistance and want to charge me for a new tire. I learn my lesson. Never again.

I personally think that the service at Walmart auto care was pretty efficient. I purchased a set of tires online and caught a good discount price. The tires arrived earlier than expected. I called Walmart and they were able to get me in 4 days before my appt to get them installed. The process was smooth and quick. I was out of the store in about 30 minutes. I was not overcharged for anything and had no complaints. I think that after visiting so many of those expensive tires companies in the past and spending good money on them, i see no difference. Walmart service has stepped up into the game. Don't waste time and money on fancy tire shops, they overcharge you sometimes.

Man these guys were amazing, they went the extra mile with every single step, between looking through the entire store for the tires I needed to letting me know every single thing that was wrong with my tires and giving me multiple options for every decision that I needed to make! They were all very hospitable and super friendly! I never felt like I was being conned or deceived like I do at other auto centers. Robert was great at the front, very knowledgeable, and offered solutions for problems I didn't know existed. David was super friendly and hospitable. Regina, who was one of the mechanics, came out and informed me about a faulty lugnut I had. Great crew, incredible service!!

Had a great experience at the centerville Walmart Tire center. I bought trailer tires online from walmart delivered to my house, then brought it to the centerville location for mounting and balancing. The staff was super nice, and got all the tires swaped with balancing in 40 minutes. Looked like great work with torquing the wheels down afterwards. And the $15 bucks mounting and balancing fee was the cherry on top! Also, side note. Even if you dont go to walmart for tires, dont go to Big O Tires on 300 west in salt lake city.Service: Tires

Got tires while passing through town. They checked the door sticker to ensure proper load range.Looked at components and brakes.Used anti sieze on all lugs. Even test drove it to ensure proper clearances. One of my best tire experiences... impressive for anyone.

After waiting about 20 minutes for someone at the counter, some guy comes by asks what i need, i say 4 tires... "Sorry dude, we dont have time for you" he replied and hurried on his way. I can assume he meant they are short staffed and have too much work, but, I'll be taking my business elsewhere, my time is also important.Recommend best value wheel and tire, even if you have to drive a bit:4380 2100 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84120Service: Tires

Pulling up they were super friendly. They quoted a 35 to 45min oil change but after over an hour of walking around Walmart, not receiving a text or hearing my name called over the over head I decided to go check on my car's status. It was parked and waiting for me to pick it up for who knows how long. But nobody was there. After about 10min I walked outside to the open bay to ask if the register was open. They all laughed and pointed at the guy who was supposed to be working it. I asked if my car was done. I said "I see it parked right there but never got a text or heard it overhead". He said "Oh, yeah sorry. It's been done for a while". Cool? thanks...? Lesson learned. They didn't have a line for a reason.Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

I've had really good service here in the past, but was very disappointed that the manager was so rude to me on my last visit (Sunday December 11th, 2022).I had looked up the opening times on the Walmart website prior to arriving. It said that the auto shop opened at 7am. Wanting to be one of the first in line, I got there at about 7:20am. Tee doors outside the auto shop weren't open and there was no one there. I duly walked around via the front of the store, came around to the auto desk and waited.Eventually, at about 7:55am the manager walked past me. I managed to stop him before he went through the door and said,"Excuse me, are you guys open right now?""No, eight o'clock." he angrily snapped back at me before hurriedlywalking away.I sat down again and continued to wait.At around 8:05am, an employee showed up. I asked if they were able to help me with the "Check Engine Light" on my car. The employee said, "I'm sorry. We don't deal with that. We only do oil changes and tires.""Okay," I said, disappointed.I then told him that I'd arrived early as Walmart's own website had said they were open at 7am."Yeah, I'm sorry about that," he said. "We open at 8am today. We've been trying to get it changed, but haven't been able to."I then went to leave. By this time the manager was opening up the doors. I said to him,"You know on Walmart's website it says you're open at 7am.""Yeah, well it's written on the doors that we're open at 8am.""Well I don't live around here, so I'm just going off what Walmart's website says.""It says 8am on the door," he said again. The fact they weren't able to help with my check engine light is fine. It's my fault, if it's anyone's. I could have researched this myself. What I simply cannot understand is the rudeness of the manager. His employee was perfectly nice and apologetic about the error. Why can't the manager behave in the same way??I'm sorry to say that this company has lost my business, even though I've experienced good service from them in the past. Rudenessis unnecessary and not something I appreciate. It would be one thing if Google had the opening times wrong. It wasn't just Google, though. I was going off the times written on Walmart's own website.

I had ordered new tires through Walmart.com and had them installed here 2 1/2 years ago. I had gotten the road hazard replacement warranty with them. A couple of weeks ago, one of them went flat. I slimed it and filled it, and it was doing okay for short distances, but I knew it was going to need replacing because there was visible sidewall damage and I didn't want it to blow out. I brought it in and showed the technician (Kory) and tire shop manager. They were both extremely helpful in talking to me about my options as far as getting new tires went, and using my road hazard replacement warranty to pay for as much of my new tires as it could. It took a couple of trips in (one for initial diagnosis, once after my new tires arrived at my house and I brought them in and they told me they were booked out for the rest of the afternoon, and then the next morning when I came back and they got them mounted and things all squared away with the warranty), but both the guys who worked with me were extremely helpful, patient, and not pushy about "buy these fancy expensive tires" or anything like that. I really felt like they genuinely cared that I got the best value that I could and wanted to help me find the best solution that would work for me. Thank you. I hope Walmart gives you both a raise for your excellent customer service.

Brought car in for an oil change at 6:55 AM before they opened to be first in line. We wanted to make sure that we could get on the road in time for a trip. We were first, and asked how long it would take. Told 30 minutes and that there was no one ahead of us because it was first come, first served. Checked up after an hour and we were told that we were next. Two cars had gone ahead of us. Waited, then checked in again. Told that our car was up on the lift. We looked and it wasn't. Checked again, same exact thing (told it's on the lift, despite being able to look at it in the lot). After two and a half hours, we asked for our keys back. They then quickly put it on the lift and started the work. Three hours for a 20 minute oil change when we were first in line at a first come, first served business. Even if you're shopping in the store, you can't possibly wait that long. I will pay double to go elsewhere - lazy, lying employees in the auto department will cost our business in the rest of the store. Go somewhere better.

Excellent prices on tires. They are (sometimes much) slower than some of the other places, but I plan on giving them 2-3x as long as they say to do stuff and that expectation has been met consistently. The employees here have been very curteous.

Bought two tires and had them mounted and balanced. The two employees who helped me (one at the front desk and the tech who did the work on the tires) were great. Friendly, quick, and I also saw the tech doing some of the work and could tell he was doing a thorough job. Thumbs up and thank you!

This would be zero stars if possible but then again maybe it is worth one star.....I special ordered tires because this was the only local place that had the brand I wanted I paid over 1000.00 for the tires and then another 30.00 each for a warranty. I was able to make an appointment to get them installed but then every time I have done back in for rotation they tell me there is no appointments and its first come first serve. So the first rotation was a 3 hour wait. The second time I came in they tell me about the wait but they say if I come in early in the morning I'll be first, so I come in the next morning just after 7 and drop it off. I am told 1.5 hours tops. I finally get a call 5 hours later telling me it is done. So today I go in and again I am told an hour and a half to do a tire rotation well that's the wait then who knows how long after that to actually get the repair done. I talked to the manager there and then to the assistant store manager and explained all this and they do not see it as a problem. Well based on the low rating here and others comments obviously it is a problem. By the way I showed Alan the assistant manager the online reviews and his opinion was "well that's not many reviews compared to how much service we do" if I would have seen the other issues here before I bought them I never would have gotten tires here. You can get 1 star service, drop your car off on the way to work and then get a ride because then there is a good chance they will have it done before 7 in the evening and you can pick it up after work. If you value your time remember they dont, so if you are going to wait for service you are going to be hanging out at Walmart for a loooooong time.

It's was a nightmare. It took almost an hour to finally get any help. And by the time I got help and the person who was supposed to be helping me. I don't know if it was there first day. But it felt like it because they were absolutely no help at all. Run stay away and fo yourself a favor and headache .

I went to get an oil change today, I waited at the lube bay for about 10 minutes. No one came out, no one even tried to let me know that they saw me waiting and they would be with me or tell me how long I d be waiting. I went inside to the desk and asked where I should be for an oil change, they were goofing off and joking around and didn t even notice me. The man turned and said, go back to the door where you were and wait. I said that I was and did not see anyone there to help me. He stated that there are only 2 techs and that if they are inside they cannot see you. I stated that I was looking and could not see anyone. I asked how long the wait was since there was one car in the bay. They told me an hour or more. I left to jiffy lube instead who had one car in front of me and I was in and out in 20 minutes and they were extremely nice. I don t recommend Walmart. They don t care if you go there or not, or even if your car gets done when you need it done. They will take their sweet time for no absolute reason. Never going back .

This review is specifically for the TIRE CENTER. The store part gets 5 stars. I came in on a Monday to get new tires since mine were going bad. They told me they couldn't install due to covid19, which was fine. I just needed the tires and I'd find somewhere else to install, This was on 6/8. The guy told me the tires would be in on Friday and that I had time to look around in case I found cheaper because they pricematch. I call back Wednesday to confirm and he states, "Yes, they arrive within 24-48 hours and our next shipment in is on Friday before noon." I call to confirm on Friday 6/12 before 11am and some lady mentioned the shipment wasn't here yet but would be before noon. I go into the store they tell me, "Oh we don't have those tires in, those tires were supposed to come in yesterday." I again ask, when will the tires be in, he takes my phone number down and said he'd call me. I ended up finding my tires elsewhere, better quality and a lot less money then they were asking. Then on Monday 6/22 I get a text message from them stating my tires were ready for pick up. 5 days worth of run arounds, wasted my time and gas coming into the store. Then 10 days of complete silence and all of a sudden my tires are there? NEVER have I ever gotten my tires there and never will I ever come there for tires again. Your customer service needs a bit more work as well as your orginization skills.

We ran into a bad flat tire situation. We had a wonderful experience with Garth. I cannot say the same for the rest of the automotive crew. They seemed inattentive. At one point they were all standing around the register chatting while our car sat in the shop unattended. Once they finally realized we were waiting for it, they went in and finished it. Still, it was remarkably unprofessional.Garth, however, was wonderful. He was attentive and friendly. He took great care of us. I would recommend working with Garth! But, this review is really specific to Garth only.

I bought tires from here which have been good tires so far, they come with lifetime balance and rotation. I have come back to this specific store 4 times in the last 2 weeks to get my tires rotated, each time I am told it is going to be hours before they can get to my car. This morning I came again and there was 1 car in the garage, and the tech told me that again that it would be HOURS before my car would get serviced.... How??? It does not take hours to do 1 other vehicle.Plus they never have the correct parts when they change my oil, a few months ago I came in for an oil change and waited in the waiting room for 2 hours and then was told that they didn t have the correct parts to change my oil. It took them 2 hours to figure that out and then tell me? I had to then go and purchase the correct part from O Reily s so they could change my oil.I suggest finding somewhere else to get any services done... Most unprofessional and slowest, laziest workers I have ever experienced.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!! Absolutely horrifying. I wish I would have looked at the reviews before wasting my time. Took them 20+ minutes to find my tires that had been ordered in which were 10 feet from the register. Then it took 2 hours to get them installed. I have never had to wait so long for a tire mounting with no cars in the bay. These guys are a joke!

They were the only place open on Sunday (besides Costco, who also was terrible service), so we had no choice but to come here. Our trailer tire blew on the freeway and they had the tires we needed. It took 2 hours for them to get one tire halfway on the rim. We were here FOREVER. My husband had to walk over and watch them in order to speed the process up. I got 2 tires from Good Year last year and they had it done within minutes. I do not recommend Walmart tire center, unless you want to hang out for a few hours. Again, this was even on a Sunday with us being the only customers, I can t imagine what it s like any other day.

I love this place. Where else can you get a full synthetic (Mobile-1) oil change for $50? I typically buy my tires here as well so that when I get the aforementioned oil change I can also have my tires rotated and balanced. The other substantial benefit to having oil changes done here is that when you need wipers, oil and/or filters, they only charge you what the part costs IN THE STORE! No mark ups or fees. They don't charge you extra to install your wiper blades or filters. Try that at the other lube shops. I've only had good experiences at this location. And it never hurts to be able to do a little shopping while your car is being worked on.
