I was traveling back from Mesquite Nevada when my alternator went bad. I stopped at O Reilly auto parts and they recommended the Shell station to fix it. Fred was able to get me in within 20 minutes and repaired it within an hour and I was back on the road. Excellent customer service highly recommend them. Thanks, Fred.

We are newer in Cedar City and didn t know where to take our kid s car. Some neighbors and friends referred us. I have to say they are the nicest most down to earth people to deal with. Great work. I trust them with all my vehicle issues moving forward. I highly recommend using this shop.

Great people. Great service. With my sister on a road trip from LA to Bryce Canyon and our car started overheating. Fred took sometime out of his busy schedule to help us out when we really needed it.

I was driving through UT to CO from CA (so much driving) when my dash lit up. Check engine light, ABS, etc etc I took myself to Bid Ol' Tires where they couldn't see me or run a diagnostic due to a maintenance issue/scheduling. I then went to Auto Zone where the issue was something to do with the pistons... with the diagnoses in hand I stopped off at this Shell as they advertised shop/mechanical services was available.Crey was the mechanic in the shop that day. He was very attentive and kind. He had me pull into the garage, pop the hood and he unscrewed the engine cover and did some magic with the piston and I was good to go. Cray was a life saver that day. I really appreciated him and his help.

From experience I'm not always very trusting of mechanics. Time and again though Fred has shown he's someone who can be trusted. His prices are usually half of what other mechanics tell me they will charge! He does a great job and everyone who works there is nice and welcoming.

This was an outstanding experience for me as I had been towed to this location in Cedar City because of mechanical problems. These guys crawled under the hood of my vehicle to find out what was the issue and then simply tighten a hose fitting and we said I was good to go. Didn't even charge me for me their time and wished me well and sent me down the road as a very happy customer.

Awesome experience! We needed a new belt on our car. It snapped while driving near Cedar. The owner of the shop got us right in. Called around for a new belt for us. Even went and picked it up for us and replaced it super quick. We were back on the road within 30min. Thank you!

The mechanic was so very nice ,& let me use he's air pump free of charge, I had a flat tire . AGAIN .. I drive around ( because I am new in the area , Sheetz in pa is free. To pump your tires up ..So I thought , maverick would be , nope .. I couldn't find one .. intill ,I talk to the shell mechanic . Who I give a big high five too for bring do generous..Thanks

I could write all day about our experience with Alec at Shell automotive. My wife and I came from salt lake city and started to have car trouble with our around cedar city. Turns out it was transmission. We were referred to shell by another competitor of theirs. Alex was the only mechanic there and from the beginning he was attentive and helpful. He explained the potential problems and what he could do to help and what the cost would be. In the end a 1 our fix ended up being about 4 hours. It was no fault of his but he saw the job through staying nearly an hour and a half over his normal hours and didn't charge us additional. I wish I could have paid the man what he was worth because he's hands down the most professional mechanic I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I would HIGHLY recommend this establishment and when you go ask for Alec.

Who knew this place had full-service mechanics?! They are amazing!! Fred Jr. is one of the best there is, and he is reasonable and honest. I will bring my vehicles here as long as he works there.

Fred is the best and a total blessing! Stranded in Cedar City because radiator busted on the way to Cali and Fred came to the rescue with the best solutions and affordable prices! Grateful to Fred and I made it home safe to CA! Must see Fred for all auto needs!

Thank you for getting us in to fix our flat! These folks are one of the closest places to Bryce Canyon National Park who are also open on a Sunday. They are honest, efficient, and saved our weekend. I recommend them highly!

Had wiring issues on a Sunday, everything else was closed. Dropped the car here and everything was sorted quickly and at a great price. Would highly recommend!

Raised their propane prices $1 more per gallon than last week. That s what I get for thanking the manager for keeping propane affordable.

You should always have a great experience here with the wonderful people that do their best. Very honest fair and dependable. Couldnt ask for much more then what they already do and will sometimes come in on their day off to help.

I normally do not say anything negative on reviews. But after much consideration - I have decided to just say that my experience was that I was treated rude and they were dishonest. Hopefully it was just a bad couple of days for them.

This is where I always get my gas, and I know the staff on a fairly personal level, but he cigarette smell inside is just too pervasive to deserve five stars.
