I'm a father living in Salt Lake area with my daughter going to school down in Cedar City, so I'm at the mercy of others when she has car troubles.Recently her car has been running rough and we needed a diagnosis to determine what the issue was, and they were quick to figure out the problem and were super helpful, honest, very affordable, and didn't try to take advantage of her with unnecessary expenses.I would definitely recommend them to others!Thank you!- A remote dadService: Auto engine diagnostic

Blew my radiator while traveling across the country. Ernesto's was able to get me in and done same day. Very nice and very polite staff. I highly recommend this shop for all your car needs. Price was good, did not try to up sell or add any extra unneeded services.

This place is awesome! They are so nice, honest and fairly priced. I drove in from SLC and was having car troubles. I called Ernesto s the next morning and they looked at my car first thing. They clearly communicated the problem, and were able to order the part and fix it the same day before I left to go back to SLC. I highly recommend!!

Hood of my car wouldn't close properly while on a road trip and I luckily found Ernesto's business. Asked him if he could have a look. He dropped what he was working on had it all fixed in no time at all. He wouldn't take any money either and just chatted instead for a few minutes after. Great guy and if I actually lived around here, he would be my go-to mechanic!

Car broke down on freeway outside of Cedar City. Ernesto was able to take a look late in the afternoon and gave honest info that got us going again. A life saver in an unknown location

I am so grateful for the men here. They were honest and so fast, knowing that I was stranded from out of town. My radiator broke and they were able to get me on the road sooner than I accepted. I HAD to review and give a shout out to good honest mechenics

I never write reviews, but I had to for this shop. I was driving through Cedar City to California. Unfortunately, my truck broke down right outside of Cedar City right on I-15. I was stranded. I called around to multiple places, but Ernesto was the only one who answered the phone. He said he would look at it even though it was after hours on a Thursday evening. I had the truck towed over to his shop.He initially thought it was the engine. I decided not to stay in town because I though it was going to take a week to fix. One of his mechanics (who happens to be a US Marine) gave me a ride all the way to St. George that night so I could catch a flight. Uber wasn t available.The next day Ernesto called me and believed it to be the timing belt. He said he needed more time to make sure that there were not any other serious issues like a bent rod. He called me Saturday morning and told me my truck was fixed! He said there were not any other issues. I went back and picked it up on Sunday. It performed perfectly all the way to San Diego, CA without any issues. His rates were extremely reasonable and fair!It s hard to find honest and reliable mechanics these days. Ernesto and his team are the absolute best! If I lived in Cedar City or anywhere near there, Ernesto would have my business for life.

Ernesto came through when other service departments could not. My wife and I were stranded in Provo Utah when our motorhome broke down. He made us his priority even on a Saturday when it was clearly evident that he had a lot of other cars to service. Even went out of his way to give me a ride back to my hotel and again pick me up. He assessed what was wrong with our vehicle and had us back on the road within two and a half hours. I can't thank him and his nephew enough. His prices were very reasonable and he was extremely knowledgeable. Ernesto thank you so much regards Ray and Jennifer Reyes

Ernesto's is the only automotive repair shop that I will take my Toyota and Chevy trucks to in Cedar City They rebuilt my toyota 4 runner's engine and warrantied the work. It runs like new and I was very satisfied with the work, the price and the quick turn around time it took to do so much labor.I just took (3/14/21) my Chevy in for a transmission leak, oil change and a broken shifter arm on the steering column. Once again Ernesto quickly identified the problems and correctly fixed all three problems.Over the years I find Ernesto and his staff to be professional, highly trained and very good at answering their phones and keeping me updated on the needed work.I want the public to know that it is my experience that Ernesto's have been honest, decent and trustworthy. They have the best auto repair service in Cedar City and I highly recommend them for your next car repair.Services: Transmission, Oil change

Ernesto did great, honest work. Helped me out when the problem was worse than anticipated and I had to leave the car over the weekend while waiting for a part. Better prices than his competition and without his help I would have been literally stuck in cedar city with no way home. I would give 10 out of 5 stars if I could.

Ernestos is great! Highly recommend this guy and his team down there in Cedar City. I had my transfer case go out driving down to Zions national Park on my BMW. I had a used transfer case sent to him and they installed it. Very reasonable and car works great. Thank you again Ernesto.

Thank you to Owner Ernesto and Mechanic Waldo!I brought my truck in for what a Chevy Dealership in Vegas told me would be a way more expensive fix. Waldo cranked the job out in 2 hours and saved me being swindled by a dishonest mechanic.I won't be taking my truck anywhere else. She's now back on the road doing what trucks do! These gentleman have done our repairs for several years. They are always quick turn around, deal honestly. Osvaldo took my car for a test drive after a repair and heard another unusual noise. He knows I commute long distances. He went hunting and called to let me know that another repair would eventually be needed that could potentially leave me stranded on the side of the road. These guys are so great! Can't say enough about their wonderful service.

Ernesto and his staff have always been fair with me. They attempted to fix something on one occasion, and when they were unable to do so, they didn't charge me. After breaking down on I-15 on a Saturday night, Ernesto allowed the tow driver to bring my truck and drop it. He got on the problem 1st thing 8am on Monday and was on the road by 9am with a simple fix. Honest as the day is long and professional. Thank you Ernesto!!!

They replaced my alternator in 2 days with no notice. I received two other quotes and they were the cheapest of all three. They also took my pre-purchased alternator, unlike the other 2 shops I contacted in town. Labor was $100/hr

Had a smoking coolant leak in my 24-year old van. Dropped it off at 3 in the afternoon with no appt. and by 5:30 it was done. Cost was less than the dealership would have charged just to diagnose the problem. Will definitely go back!
