I was recommended Mikes from a neighbor on nextdoor app, and SO HAPPY to have found this auto shop! I m extremely hesitant on where I take my vehicle and finding someone trustworthy. Several years later, we now have Mike s! Mike is very fair, honest, nice and helpful. We ve had a battery/electrical issue for quite sometime and had gone to get it fixed 3x by other mechanics (in San Diego before moving here) who couldn t figure it out. One visit to Mike and he diagnosed/fixed the issue within an hour! It s a miracle!We will continue going here for any vehicle needs. Thank you Mike and Team!

Glad to have found Mike. I live in Salt Lake City, but it is still worth bringing my vehicles down to AF to have Mike work on them if possible. I have had two different services completed, spark plug + coil replacements and new CV axels. Both services went smoothly and Mike was transparent with the work done. I appreciated him calling me mid-service to provide me updates or to propose other solutions.

We go to Mike s for everything. They are always so friendly, professional, knowledgeable and caring. We ve never been overcharged for any of the work they ve done and they shoot straight with us about the things our cars need immediately, in the near future, and things that candidly don t need done (they re very honest).

I'm so glad I found Mike's! I had two other mechanics quote me a price for work one said needed to be done. I called Mike's and he gave me a quote for 25% less than the other guys. Once he got my car in, which took a bit (good mechanics are busy mechanics), I ended up actually paying less than half of the other shops because he was honest about what was actually needed. They are honest and stand behind their work. The reviews make Mike's seem too good to be true, but it is true! Anyone who says Mike's isn't legit can fight me.

Mike has been working on my cars and trucks for over 13 years now. He s the only mechanic I know I can trust. Do yourself a favor and take your car or truck to him. He ll get you taken care of.

Been going to mike since before he opened his shop when he was just taking a few customers using only his garage as a shop, very good and honest mechanic. He completely shatters the stereotype of mechanics being dishonest or money gouging.VERY fair pricing and he is always willing to help answer ANY questions for those of us that are more naive about car mechanics! He runs a great shop over there. I've been using Mike to service my vehicles for a few years now. Fair prices, but more importantly, they are honest. They don't try to sell you blinker fluid or other things you don't need. I highly recommend them.

Mike is the greatest mechanic in all of Utah. Period. Fairly priced, very knowledgeable, extremely accommodating. He is also very popular so make sure you book with time! I will go to him for all my mechanical needs.

Mike is the most knowledgeable, honest, fair priced, straight- shooting mechanic you will find anywhere. As most people have experienced you take your vehical in a shop to get one thing fixed and then 5 major things are wrong and when I sent my wife in the other local shop claimed my Trans was shot and tried to charge us for rebuilding it without even opening it up. That s#!^ don't happen with Mike he and his mechanics never "surprise" you with extra issues they are the best around and family members drive an hour just to get the quality work from Mike's High Torque Auto. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!!! Hands Down the Best in Utah!

Mikes crew fixed my AC system just in time for the summer heat. Work was done all in one day and he explained the issue in layman s terms. Only wish the cost were lower but I understand that s the times we live in with out of control inflation. Would recommend his shop!

If you re looking for a good honest mechanic, GO HERE! These guys are amazing! I have an old car that always has issues but I can t let go of it. I ve taken it to a few places in AF and they either broke things on my car or quoted me $1200 for bursting hoses and coolant mixing with oil . I came to Mike for a second opinion and told him what the previous mechanic said. Turns out it was the water pump and timing cover. Mike fixed everything up in about a day and charged me about half of what the other guy quoted me and the other guy was completely wrong in his quote. Mike called a few times to give me updates on my car and I appreciate that so much! My car has not ran this good in YEARS! So happy I found this place and have already recommended them to all my friends. Thanks Mike!!!

Since moving to Utah, I ve tried many mechanics which were fine but after 5 years, I ve finally found the place where I have complete trust in the owner and his recommendations and feel I m paying a fair price. Feels good to go and be able to trust whatever they say. One of my neighbors referred me to Mike's. Took my car in for some rattling sounds coming from underneath the hood. The diagnostic was free. Got the part fixed in a timely manner at a good price. I was most impressed with how personable Mike and his staff are. After the repair, Mike took the time to run me through the problem and what they did to fix it. Never seemed rushed and took his time to make sure all my questions were answered. If you are calling around to different auto shops in the area I wouldn't go any further. Mike is the only mechanic I feel comfortable going to. I wouldn't even look around unless for some reason he was too busy - and even then I'd only go to someone if he recommended them, I trust his opinion that much! Mike and his guys are top notch! Would never even consider taking any vehicle of mine to another shop. Mike genuinely cares about you and any problems your vehicle might have. Always explains with great detail what the problem was and what he and his guys did to fix it. Plus he is VERY honest with prices. I would trust Mike and his guys with any issues you might have with your vehicle. Mike is Very friendly, I m always shocked by how good of a guy he is and despite a vehicle of mine having problems, I m always leaving his shop with a big smile on my face. Mike's was recommended to me by a neighbor. We had recently purchased a 2005 Jeep for our daughter. We wanted to have the vehicle checked before sending her on the road. Mike was very professional and straight forward with his recommendations. We ended up getting new brakes and everything just checked out. The cost was very fair. The service was very quick. Mike loves European cars, especially Audi's. There is no one I would rather take my Audi to than Mike at Mike's HTAP. Mike can fix Audi's better than the dealership can. Quick turnaround. Reasonable price. Good repair. But the real high point was that Mike patiently explained the newer systems from my truck and how they've changed from the less electronic repairs I'm used to.Great experience.

Have you ever just wanted someone you could trust to work on your car, and not take advantage of you? That's Mike's. Their prices are great, they are fast and responsive as well. Mike's was able to fix an issue my car has been having for a long time that other mechanics misdiagnosed and couldn't fix. He fixed it the first time and did it right. He also had very reasonable prices and was super willing to help me understand what was going wrong with my car in the first place.
