I m so glad we found Brooks Mobile Auto Repair! James is such a nice guy and is so thorough and knowledgeable. You can tell he values his work and getting things right. He took the time to diagnose what was going on with my car, as well as show me and explain everything. (The shop I d previously asked basically shrugged.) We won t hesitate to contact James to take care of our vehicles from now on. Working with James turned something that s usually pretty dreadful (car repairs!) into a great experience. That says a lot!

James is amazing, he is incredibly knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile. He is very transparent on what he is doing and ensures that I knew all my options for the repair as it was a pretty tricky one. He took the time to explain everything in detail and we were very happy with the results of the work he did, he's officially our family mechanic and I would not hesitate to call him in the future. He is definitely someone that enjoys his job and is very good at it.

My check engine light came on when I started my car to go to the gym in the morning. James was able to get to my house within an hour and had the problem diagnosed and fixed by lunchtime. He throughly explained his process and pricing and was very fair compared to other mechanics I ve used in the past. This will be my go to mechanic going forward!

James is a go to mechanic for any repair! I will be using him for all my mechanic needs in the future. I had my daughters Chevy Cruze, and my girlfriends Dodge Charger worked on by James. He was able to do all the work needed on both cars while I was out of state. He has all the tools to diagnose and fix anything mechanical! He got both cars running tip top without losing a beat! He communicated very well when it came to the cost, before he did the work, and he gave me a fair price so I was able to go ahead with all the necessary repairs needed to keep my girls safe on the road. 100% I will recommend him to anyone looking for a great mechanic! My daughters' 2015 Ford Escape started overheating after experiencing other problems that suggested fuel injection issues. I found James and he quickly scheduled to come to the vehicle to perform diagnostics. He believed we had a blown head gasket, which made sense, but recommended more thorough diagnostics at his shop. Ultimately, he concluded that we needed a new head gasket and during the teardown found a number of other issues that he also fixed (including rebuilding the fuel injectors) at a very fair overall price. He bought specialized tools to work on our Escape, which he did to make sure the job was done right. We've put a couple thousand miles on the Escape since the repair including in very cold weather and it is running perfectly.James is a great communicator, a skilled and experienced vehicle craftsman, thorough, and honest to the core. I highly recommend Brooks Mobile Auto Repair!

I recently took my 2008 Subaru Outback to Brooks Automotive as a last resort and boy was I glad I did. After taking it to two big-chain auto shops, I was told my rear caliper bolts were rusted and the cost was going to be around $1000-1300 to get it replaced.Not only did Brooks Automotive get back to me within a day, but he was able to do it for far less, had my car back to me within a 24 hour period, and reassured me that I had a great car. He also noted several other things that s the previous automotive shops would have replaced for no reason other than up upsell me.He is a great communicator, upfront with you about any car problems, and seems to genuinely enjoy doing what he does. I would recommend anyone and everyone to go here.

I came across James accidentally. I was purchasing a truck and just needed a pre-purchase inspection. My go-to was out of town, so google searched and found James. He was able to perform the inspection right then and there. But since then, I've used him, not only for the truck repairs that needed to be done, but on another vehicle we own. As luck would have it, the back window wouldn't roll up and a major storm coming in...so I called James, and he told me to bring it right over. With owning half a dozen vehicles, something is always needing repaired, so James is my new go to!

James came out to help us with an electrical issue. He was so nice! And extremely knowledgeable! He had state of the art equipment to run diagnostic tests and made sure everything was taken care of before he left. We are so thankful for his help!! I called late in the afternoon one day and he came out the very next morning and took care of all the problems with my car. He also did an oil change in the moment upon request. Very friendly, very knowledgeable, fair pricing. Will definitely be calling him in the future
