I recently had the pleasure of using Matula's Collision for repainting the hood of my 2000 truck, I call BlessedHellride. WOW! Had estimates for fender bender ranging from $1500 -$1800 with repair time 3-5 days from two other Victoria collision shops. Jimmy, at Matula Collision, offered to repair instead of replace parts which he did in less than 30 mintes, then buffed out scratches. We were totally pleased with the outcome ... no need to replace parts and be without vehicle for days. Mind you, I'm very picky about my car and was leary about the "quick fix" but, again, I'm so pleased with Matula Collision quality of service!!! When we were ready to settle the bill, he didn't want to charge us at all. Good deeds and kindness never go unnoticed. Thank you, Matula Collision! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!Service: Body & Trim

Matulas was by far the best experience I ve had with a body repair shop. When my insurance copy was dragging their feet and delayed work, they made sure my insurance company was held responsible so I wasn t stuck covering the extra costs of my rental car. I took my truck to Matula s to inquire about getting work done to my hood. A cat had gotten on the hood and scratched it in several places. I asked about painting the hood and Jimmy said that he could probably repair the hood by buffing out the scratches. He did just as he said. He buffed out the scratches and did not charge me anything. He could have told me that the hood needed painting and made a profit but rather he took time to remove the scratches with out making a penny. Talk about taking care of the customer. Jimmy embodies the traits of integrity, professionalism and honesty. You would be wise to take your vehicle to Matula s for any repair needed to your vehicle. OMG, I was blown away by the customer service that I received today at Matula's Collision Center. I had minor damage to my truck's passenger side front and rear door. I accidentally ran over a piece of blue wooden furniture that left blue paint and scuff marks on my new red truck. I was met by a very friendly and polite lady at the front desk that asked how she could help me. I asked for an estimate to repair the damage to my truck. I was expecting the worst...that I would have to make an appointment to get an estimate at a later time and that the work would be overpriced based on the work needed to complete the repair. I was absolutely treated just the opposite of what I was expecting. Before I could finish signing in a man went outside to look at my truck. He asked if he could move the truck inside the shop. He invited me to come with him (most shops are either so scared about injury liability or do not want you to see what they are doing) they will never let you see "behind the curtain". The man began to gently use a solvent and a towel to clean the blue paint off of the red truck. After removing the blue paint he used a buffer and polish to polish the remaining scuff marks on my doors. He then used an air hose and another towel to make the doors look like new! I asked him how much and here is where I was completely surprised...he said no charge. I even insisted that this was damage done while conducting company business and that I would get reimbursed. He still said no charge. I introduced myself and he said he was Jimmy Matula, the owner, and it was his pleasure to provide excellent customer service. You just don't experience this type of treatment from businesses today. This takes me back to the days when businesses really appreciated your business and worked to earn your repeat business.If anyone is looking for a paint and body shop in Victoria look no further than Matula's Collision Center. You will be treated fairly and with the utmost customer service. Thank you Jimmy for that unexpected act of kindness today. You made my day and lifted my spirit!!God bless.

Always "the Profesionals" they do better than factory work. Very friendly people & keep you updated through a stressful situation & restore you back to pre accident condition, or better....10 stars.

I have used Matula's a few times and I would not go to any other body shop in town again. Matula's is the only place I trust to work on my truck. Jimmy I always kind and ready to get the job complete. Brian the body tech does a great job and treats you vehicle as if he was working on his own.That is what I call real service. Thank you. Hope to see you other places besides your Body Shop.. ; -)

Just excellent, friendly service. They did a great job replacing a bed side on my truck. Jimmy was very patient dealing with our not-so-great insurance company. Above all, he made our problem his problem.

Work on vehicle was first class. I would love to continue taking vehicles there for body work; however, the last visit turned out not to my liking. I have taken several vehicles to this location for body work and have never had a problem. I ended up making a mistake and did not realize until close to time to get my vehicle back that the insurance company had written the check out to myself and the lienholder instead of the body shop. Therefore, I had to have a new check sent directly to the body shop. This wasn't sufficient for the shop. They ended up holding my vehicle for 6 additional days until the check actually traveled from Fort Worth to Victoria, Texas by standard mail. That is when they finally decided to release the vehicle to me. I have been a loyal customer to this facility for many years; however, I do not anticipate I will be returning because of the way they treat repeat customers. Good luck.As an update. I pray that everyone dealing with this company has had good luck. I know the people are not necessarily bad people. They may have been having a bad month or year for that matter. I was just very disappointed in the treatment I received. I have since found another body shop. I am happy, I hope they are happy.

I had a defective bug screen on the hood of my truck. Matula's was nice enough to remove the bug screen and clean up my hood. Very friendly staff and service. Highly recommend Matula's Collision Center!

Took my new 2016 camaro in to get a quote for a 2 inch dent in my door. Mr. Matula gave me the best price quote for my repair but also suggested I take it to be seen by Christopher Hayes who repairs dents without you having to paint. I got my car repaired for a 100 dollars back to new like it never happened. That says a lot about Mr. Matula and how his willing to help you even if it means losing money. 5 stars from me!

The old man that runs this place is genuine and takes care of his customers individually and notifies them of the progress as the body work gets done couldnt have it any other way made the mistake of going to someone else the 2nd accident I was involved in turned out I ended up coming back to matulas , knock on wood hopefully I dont get involved in a 3rd accident but if I do I'll probably end up using him again even though I am out of town now
