Great business! Extremely reputable RV repair highly recommend. We were in a bind to have our trailer repaired to get it home to belton and they ordered our parts quickly had us on our way. Extremely reasonably price for a RV shop. Highly recommend this business.

If you need repairs to an RV, this business is way to go. I had work that needed done and was new to the area. He took a lot of time to find the parts I needed, and to order them and get them on quickly. Five stars only because that is the size it goes.

After renting a trailer for 4 nights, we were charged an additional $155 because a trailer tire blew out on our return home. The spare on the trailer was rotten and unable to be used so we had to buy a tire to make it home. Be very careful renting anything from these people, because they take no responsibility for the condition of their equipment when renting it to you. They accused us of running over something causing yhe tire to blow out, but it was a resr tire, do we would have run over it with the front tire first. Will never rent from them again. Lesson learned.

Ricky, the co-owner gave me a lot of time an attention when I called him on the phone to ask about towing tips for a second-hand 5th wheel that I purchased. He had so much experience and information to share that I had to write it down on multiple pages. It is hard for me to remember being treated so well by a business that has no direct financial gain from the interaction.

Camper City is a great dealer! The owners are very nice and will do their best to help you out before and after you buy. They really do stand behind what you buy from them and treat you well! This is my 2nd purchase here, and I recommend them for any of your RV needs.

...and just like that, my 14ft trailer broke in 2. Not in 1/2 portions but the entire tongue portion from the front body of the trailer to the tip of the tongue separated from the trailer. I wasn't moving fast and it happened during a non-busy time of day. I was lucky. Not knowing a single person in Victoria, TX I started calling around for someone that could do structural repairs. I found Camper City. I had it towed there and was fortunately allowed to leave it there during repair. I had no where else at my disposal. Over the next 4 weeks, the service team handled the OEM of the trailer and insurance to cover some of the cost. I'm very pleased with their work. They built it back better than it was before. Stronger design and stronger materials. 5 stars. Thank you everyone at Camper City for the excellent work!

I was told my RV was fixed & ready to go. Paid my bill & left on vacation only to find they hadn t fixed or even worked on anything. After multiple phone calls Larry said he would refund my money. He then proceeded to back date a check( correct date was on the postmark) & put my name on it incorrectly. I would not recommend these people to my worst enemy.

Great customer service. They also help you when you have questions, but don t continuously follow you around. That s nice because it allowed for looking around with zero pressure. Definitely recommend!!!

We were about 10 miles north of Victoria when we blew out a tire on our travel trailer. The disintegrated tire tore out a large section of the wiring underneath our trailer and the propane line. As a result we had no lights, turn signals, or electric brakes. We managed to get the trailer to Camper City about 4:30 on Friday Evening. Jean met us and assessed the damage. The initial time for repair was thought to be 7 to 10 days. We were on day 1 of a 10 day trip and figured our trip was ruined. The owner, Larry Merklinger and his technician Cody pulled off nothing short of a miracle and had us back on the road Wednesday morning. I can't say enough good about this entire crew; they went well beyond my expectations and turned something bad into a great experience. The repairs were well done and the cost was very reasonable. We live about 500 miles away, but if I lived anywhere near this place, they would have all of my RV business. Thanks Camper City for a job well done.

Supposed to be hitch installation included in the purchase price of a 5th wheel travel trailer. Called and left multiple messages with sales and no call returned. I m not gonna chase a so called company that can NOT do what is promised. My advice, don t buy from this place. Second advice, if you do, do not be expecting to be able to pull your $100,000 5th wheel anywhere, because they don t install the hitch as promised. Poor sales, sad promises.

I will no longer be dealing with Ricky Merklinger or Camper City! He does not know how to provide good customer service at all! He's a very rude, obnoxious person who was extremely argumentative and unhelpful! When trying to return a new thermostat we just bought that did not work in our RV because it was not compatible to our old one, he acted like he did not want to give us our money back. He called someone on the phone and we heard him say, "Oh, it is not compatible". He then got off the phone and lied to us and said that it was compatible. We told him we had had an electrician try to install it and the electrician said it would not work. Ricky then tried to say that the electrician did not know what he was talking about, and I told him that the electrician works at one of the area plants as an electrician. I asked him a question about replacing our old thermostat and he claimed that they were being discontinued and they were now going to the new one we were trying to return. Yet we knew the same one we had before can still be found on the Internet which is where we will now be ordering it! Camper City has ordered an item for us before that they did not have in their store and he did not offer to do that this time, but decided to lie to us instead. After I asked a question about them being discontinued, Ricky then had the audacity to raise his voice and yell at me! He was told to stop yelling to which he again lied and stated that he was not yelling, that was just how he talked. It was clearly a lie, because he had not raised his voice to me before that during the conversation. I told him I was not going to argue with him and that we had not raised our voice to him! We got our money back, but will no longer be doing any business with Camper City or Ricky Merklinger!

Fantastic place! Their reputation actually stands up to what I had heard. Was able to get work done there in a timley manner even with them having a TON of people already getting stuff done. A++ in my book.

Michael hooked us up with the parts we needed to get back on the road and made a few sugestions for slightly differant parts that increased safety and simplicity. They have a great selection of parts and universal repair items.

We visited the lot today. No one spoke to us, not even to ask what we were doing on the lot.We looked at a couple of trailers and left when absolutely no one spoke to us.Obviously, they aren t interested in selling trailers.

A complete joke. Called Monday morning because of a frayed wire coming off my battery..the soonest they could squeeze me in was THURS LOL. there was no one in the service dept on Monday- all day. Maybe that's why they're so behind? Total joke. I've been to dozens of rv repair places over the past ten years & never had to wait more than a few hours...and they always invite us to stay on site until the repairs ate completed. I would never go here again.

You don't miss the water till the well goes dry........bought 2 campers from Camper City. Treated like a king, and always had issues corrected quickly and correctly (all campers have issues sooner or later). Then I went off the tracks and bought a camper from Camping World - Katy. Worst buying experience of my life. Now all I can do is try to get the message out - the Merklingers are great people and rely on "repeat customers".......big shiny parking lots full of campers are NOT!! If you are considering buying a camper, buy from Camper City if you are in the area.....if not, find a family owned business like Camper City who will stand behind what they sell when you need repairs/service. The Merklingers met me with a converter once when I was out of town on a camping trip and mine went out............Camping World won't return my phone calls for a month.......you decide!!......but I can tell you where my next purchase will be from........Camper City, even though I moved 2-1/2 hours away

I purchased a new DRV Mobile Suites and am currently in a RV Park in Victoria, Texas. I ordered 2 roof vent covers from Camper City and had their mobile service tech install them at the RV Park. In the August-September time frame I contacted Camper City about doing some work on the RV. They agreed to do the work. It was a simple process. DRV was aware of the issues and told me to find a RV repair facility of my choosing. Camper City agreed to call DRV and order the parts, (no out of pocket expense to Camper City). After repeated phone calls that were not returned. We went to Camper City today to find out the status. The only answer they had was excuses. Nothing had been done. My advice is find a reputable RV service company. If Camper City can't pick up the phone and and order parts at no cost to them. And be paid on the spot when the agreed upon work is completed(no billing). They're not worth dealing with.
